Chapter Ninety-Five: Past: Realization & Explosions

We had watched the light come up without even flinching, Mico and I had cried. Let out our emotions and decided to just let the quietness fill the room as though a guest. The worry of yesterday had gone and today laid an open space for uncertainty to take its seat.

I just wanted her to remember that she was my wife despite everything. I just wanted to be content with the thought that we had survived after so much battle.
