Chapter Hundred & Twenty-Three: Past: Mourning

"No padre, I'm sick of this shit. Your dying. Unico will never have you walk her down because of him and to imagine you were willing to give your blessings to a possibility of their union." He growled then spat on the side. "I curse that very possibility. May it never happen."

I watched Justin stumble back as though someone had stabbed him in the heart. Allon knew that no words would be able to comfort him after what his son had said out of anger. out of pain. He could have reprimanded him but him keeping the pain inside would fuel any other emotion that was little.

Allon loved his children dearly, as much as he loved his wife, and never had he treated Justin differently because of the circumstances that had fallen in place for him. He couldn't stand up and tell Justin that it was okay. what was important was that he knew that he loved him and he knew that he forgave him as much he hoped, Justin would do the same.
