"What do you mean by that! I want to see my wife immediately!" we heard, we could hear the sound of glasses crashing and screams but it didn't bother Huitaca and Leona, both of them understood the frustration.

That was one of the reasons why Huitaca had decided to reminisce in the memories, trying to distract herself and Leona from what was going on. Otherwise, she knew that Leona would have caused trouble on her own and no one would be able to do anything.
