Her body was relaxed as she breathed in and out. Her hand constantly tightening on my thumb just to ensure that I was there, even though her eyes were shut from the world. Her hair braided to keep from invading her face or trying to irritate her, not wanting to be woken up by her hair or finding unwanted tangles. Tangles and knots… the very enemy of hair.

Unico held her in her arms, slowly rubbing her hand on her back as her other hand wasn't available. Even though she was back she didn't know how to adjust to reality easily. She had gotten used to the uncomfortable bed, the bells, and the sound of the guard's boots. Walking up and down, creating a pattern that easily caused the prisoners to sleep.
