Chapter 8. Unexpected (2)

"Just relax, don't have to be afraid" said the head nurse, breaking the ice.

"Winda, I called you here to convey, starting tomorrow you don't need to come to the VIP ward anymore," said the head nurse firmly.

"Because you are assigned to Homecare someone important and this is at the request of the hospital director" he said pausing for a moment to see the response of nurse Winda.

"I think you will be able to complete this task, because in the past you have done the same task. How, are you willing?" asked the Head Nurse at the end of her sentence.

Winda thought for a moment, she was afraid of making a wrong decision that could harm her, the nature of the Head Nurse like that made Winda unable to reject what she had decided.

"Yes, I accept the assignment" Winda replied quietly.

"Good, you can be counted on. Get ready, tomorrow at 07.00 am someone will pick you up at home and take you straight to the patient's house. The patient's medical records and the duties of nursing services will be explained when you get there." The head nurse provides directions.

Winda only nodded which indicated that she understood the directions given.

"Oh yeah, one more thing. You are assigned for only one week, because the patient does not suffer from a serious illness. But it may take longer too. After that you work as usual in the VIP ward." The head nurse finished her sentence with a smile.

"Yes, Chief."

"Okay, you can finish your morning shift today."

"Excuse me, Mom."

Winda walked out of the Chief Nurse's room, in her head many question marks appeared. Winda sighed, tomorrow he will face a new work atmosphere.

After the hour of changing shifts is over, Winda prepares to go home. Winda walked towards the vehicle parking lot while checking her cellphone, maybe there was an incoming message. But apparently there was not a single message from Ari. When he arrived at the parking lot, Winda was surprised to see a woman getting into Ari's car and sitting in the passenger seat. Then the car just walked away.

"What is Ari trying to do?" Winda thought to herself.

Usually Ari is always waiting for him, and driving home if they happen to work on the same shift. However, Winda was surprised by what her heartfelt, there was no pain at all. She was surprised by the change in Ari's attitude. Never mind, I'll just go home in a taxi. Winda walked to the bus stop in front of the Hospital.

Until night fell, Ari still did not contact him and Winda was also reluctant to contact him first. Winda just feels lonely, because usually her cellphone always rings every minute. Ari is so protective of him.

Mother knocked on Winda's door, interrupting her daughter's reverie.

Mother handed over a bouquet of roses and chocolates. The mother explained that this morning after her son left for work, an curios brother delivered a package of chocolates and a bouquet of roses, noon and afternoon the same package came again. Mother smiled meaningfully as she walked out of her child's room.

Winda opened the letter tucked between roses, still from the same sender because in the lower corner of the letter it was written, sorry for what I did wrong. Who exactly is the person who sent the package, thought Winda.

Warm mornings, when the sun shines on the earth. Winda has breakfast with Bunda while waiting for someone to pick her up to take her to a new work atmosphere. Not long after that, a luxurious and shiny sedan parked in front of Winda's house. A man wearing a black coat, black pants, black shoes and black glasses approached Winda who was standing in front of the house.

"Good morning, nurse Winda, let me take you to my employer's place. Please get into the car." said the neat man.

Ah this is apparently the employee where my patient is. I thought it was the patient's brother. If the employees are this neat? What about the master? Hopefully not an annoying person.

"OK".

Winda got into the car and sat in the rear passenger seat. Then the car drove through a city road jam that morning. About an hour later they entered a large gate with guard there, there was still a few meters from the gate leading to the mansion.

The large courtyard was covered with manicured green grass, roses and orchids were blooming there, beautifully colored neatly arranged. There was a circular fountain in front of the mansion, in a luxurious classical western architectural style.

Several luxury cars were neatly parked in the corner next to the house. The man who had picked him up earlier invited him into the house and directed him to sit waiting in the living room.

Wach ... what a big house, what kind of person do I have to care for. Said Winda to himself.
