"It's time for the council to decide his fate." said a man in white robes. He had glowing blue eyes that shined like the moon. "We need to fight back with what little power we have left, no matter what." said a robot like human. "I agree with Timerion. The Precasians are going to fight alongside as well."
"Gardencia?" asked the man. "So are we. The Gardencians are not gonna give up this fight."
"(grunting) Arghh, the future, it does not look bright! Our civilizations will fall into ruin after this fight, there will be wars against each other. The darkness will consume all the leaders, some surrender and some go into hiding." said the man. "Everlocke! Explain the future in detail!" exclaimed the council members as they feared what has been said is what the future holds. "Arghh. (sigh)" The glow in his eyes suddenly stopped. "This council meeting shall be goodbye for each of us. Say all of your regards and goodbyes now. Only few of us will survive until the next hope comes along. Timerion, bring your guardians and stay in hiding. Queen Evergreen, make sure that your throne is always passed to your descendant line. The rest of the court, I can't say."
Each of the council members sat down on each of their chairs, silent and froze in fear. "I am sorry everyone. It was great knowing you all. May we see each other one day. I have to leave now, as those who will save us will come in the far future and I have to be there to guide them. Farewell." said Everlocke as he disappeared. "May we meet again, Evergreen." said Timerion. "(smiles) May we meet again." replied Evergreen sadly.
"What, are we gonna give up here? Just because of what he said?" exclaimed King Goran, leader of Precasia. "Goran, let us just enjoy what time we have left with the remaining council members. What the future holds is what it is. We always knew this day would come." comforted Prince Bonzo. "Nah! You all are cowards! I will show them that the council of dimensions will fight till the very last breath. No matter what that old man says!" said Goran. "Goran!" exclaimed the council members. "Please, just enjoy our last moments together."
"(shocked) You all truly have become cowards. Kraster! Prepare the troops for a final stand against that dark smug bastard."
"Right away sir."
"(sighs) He's right. Let this moment never be forgotten. Goran! Gardencia will always be on your side!" exclaimed Queen Evergreen as she raised her glass. "Right! The Time Guardians will be on your side as well!" said Timerion as he raised his glass. One by one, each of the council members raised their glass. Suddenly a portal opened up and came out of Everlocke with a few hundred others. "I figured this would probably happen. Well then, Earth will be joining as well. But don't say I didn't warn you." said Everlocke as he created a glass himself. "(smiles) Who knows, maybe we can change the future. Let us make this a battle history will remember!" exclaimed Goran as he returned to raise his glass. "Let's show that prick what the council really is!" exclaimed all of the members.
Each dimension began making preparations for a war they didn't know would last for ages. All they knew was that they were fighting for each one and every being's future and that's all they needed to know. "(sighs) Henry, I have a bad feeling about this battle. Start project 4 Trials for me." said Timerion as he programmed each of the guardian with enhancements. "Right away. Do you truly think this might be the end?" asked Henry. "My calculations say, this is just the beginning. A beginning of an era that will be initiated by the council." said Timerion. "Alright then. I'll begin preparations for the project." said Henry. "Thank you."
"Hmm? What for? I haven't even finished." said Henry. "For inventing me and caring for me. I wish I could care for you as well." said Timerion. "(smiles) Rion, you have taken care for me. The very day I invented you, you brought happiness and laughter to my life. My only wish is for you to bring that very happiness and laughter to the dark future ahead of us." said Henry. "Well needless to say, I hereby surrender The Land Of Time to you."
"(smiles) Alright, I'll get going now." said Timerion. "Good luck Rion!" said Henry as he waved his last goodbye to Timerion. "(whispers under breath) Thank you old friend, you've brought happiness to my life. You are truly my best invention." said Henry as he stood there.
"Horacio, you coming?" said Evergreen. "Of course, my queen. It might be the last battle I'll ever be in, so there's no way I'm leaving." said Horacio. "(smiles) One, how much times have I said this, just call me Evelia, two, thank you for coming along with me. The other kings won't even return the letter, but the most powerful sorcerer actually came." said Evergreen. "(laughs) But on one term." said Horacio. "What would that be?"
Horacio ran as fast as he could to the Tree Of Life. "Lovelyn!"
"Horacio? What is it?" said Lovelyn. Horacio took a step and pulled Lovelyn by her robes towards him. "(blushes) Wha-what was that for?" said Lovelyn as she tried to hide the fact that she was blushing. "(smiles) I've always wanted to that. Goodbye and thanks for everything. I love you!" said Horacio as he ran happily. "(whispers under breath) He finally did it. Not a goodbye Horacio! It's a see you soon!" exclaimed Lovelyn as she smiled and waved happily.
"Not bad kid. You finally grew up." said Evergreen as she chuckled. "(smirks) Hmph, I always was. Now let's go fight our final battle!" said Horacio. "Alright then, since you're quite the enthusiastic one today, let's make our final preparations." said Evergreen. "(chuckles) I just realised. You're older than me, yet you're my apprentice." said Horacio. "Let's not get hasty here. I'm your queen, do I have to make you call me with honorifics again?" said Evergreen. "Ah, yeah forgive what I said. Please, none of that honorifics nonsense." said Horacio as he laughed.
"Master! Why am I not going with you to battle?" exclaimed a boy. "(sighs) My dear apprentice, this is a battle we're going to lose. I-" said Everlocke. "Then why should I stay back and abandon you?" said the apprentice. "(kneels) I'm sorry, but I need you here on earth to wait for the ones that will save us." said Everlocke.
"If you ever miss me or feel sad, just stare at the stars. I might one of them, watching you from afar. I know goodbyes are hard and not my thing, and this all doesn't make sense. But I need you to stay on earth as you will meet the chosen ones first before me. At first, they won't look like much, but I need you to guide them as it'll be difficult for them to understand. I will meet them, but it'll be in the far future. So, I guess you'll have the privilege to meet them before me." said Everlocke as he smiled.
"Alright fine, but you'll have to keep your promise that you'll watch me from the stars." said the apprentice. "Will do, now, there's still time before it all happens, so let's just spend it as much as we can." said Everlocke. "(smiles) That's what I've been waiting for." said the apprentice.
1 month later
"(Standing in front of portal) Ahh, the day is here." said Everlocke as he waved his staff around. "Not a moment too soon." said Timerion as he stood beside him. "Not a moment too early as well." said Evergreen as she stood beside Everlocke. "You all, do this often or what?" said Horacio. "Of course. The hunt for war enthralls us." said Goran as he sharpened his sword. "Nice to meet you kid. My name is Everlocke." said Everlocke as he introduced himself to Horacio. "I've heard a lot about you from Evergreen." said Horacio. "So have I." said Everlocke as he laughed. "Well, that's Evergreen for you alright." said Timerion. The gang laughed and introduced themselves to Horacio. "Well, it's pretty brief, but it's really nice to meet you all." said Horacio.
"(sighs) This may be our last battle, but we'll show them what the council is made of." said Timerion. "Onwards!" exclaimed Everlocke as he opened up the portal. As they got through, they warped to Lunarist, the very planet that was first consumed by the darkness. "(grunts) Arghh, everything feels so heavy here." said Horacio. "Everlocke! The soldiers!" exclaimed Goran.
"Right, excrucio galactica!" chanted Everlocke. "What's happening?" said Goran. "I-I can't open the portals." said Everlocke as he tried to use all his magic to summon the portals. "How's that possible? Let me try. Excrucio galactica!" chanted Horacio. "Oh that's not good." said Everlocke. Suddenly, millions of dark claws bombarded them. "Horacio! Timerion! Get back in the portal!" exclaimed Everlocke. "What? No!" said Timerion and Horacio. Evergreen quickly put herself in the way of a claw that was going for Horacio. "Horacio! Get back at once! You have someone waiting for you and I need you to watch Gardencia for me!" exclaimed Evergreen as the claw imprisoned her. "Evergreen no!" exclaimed Horacio. "Excruciata immobul-" Instead of a flash coming from Evergreen's staff, a bolt of wind from Evergreen's staff pushed him back into the portal.
"You've seen this haven't you Everlocke! You set us all up!" exclaimed Goran. "No, I swear it wasn't supposed to happen like this. We were supposed to have a slight chance!"
"Nah! I don't buy it!" said Goran. "Goran! You wanna fight him or handle this first?" said Prince Bonzo. "Guys! A little help here!" exclaimed Evergreen as she tried to get out of the grip of the shadow claw. "Excruciata Immobulus!" chanted Everlocke as he conjured a bolt of lightning that paralyzed the claw. "Aleamora!" chanted Everlocke as he casted a force field around them. "(grunts and holds chest in pain) Quickly, return to your dimensions! Slow down the darkness in each of your dimensions!" exclaimed Everlocke as his energy was consumed to cast the force field. "Quickly go!"
Everyone hurried out to leave out of the portal as it was shrinking. But as the portal shrunk, one of them ran back. "Not a chance I'm leaving you here." said Evergreen. "Thanks. Guess this is our final fight huh?" said Everlocke. "(sigh) Yeah. It was a pleasure to be your friend and partner." said Evergreen.
"It was a pleasure for me as well." said Everlocke as the two of them used up all their energy to hold the darkness as long as they could. "I'm sorry, my apprentice. I won't be able to watch you from the stars as I promised." said Everlocke as he exhaled his last breath.
"What is it, my dark lord?" said a shadow. "Take your army and stay on earth. Everlocke predicted that someone, in control of the past, present and future might end my reign in the future. I want you to keep an eye on earth and find out who it is." said a man that resembled a shadow. A hood covered most of his face and body. "Right away my lord. What about Everlocke's apprentice?" said the shadow. "He won't live too long, so we don't have to worry about that..."
