prologue

The sunlight pierced the trees. It was bright, but somehow cold. The leaves fell all-over him.

Wednesday, September 2nd 2068. 07.00 AM. That's when he woke up. His light blue eyes opened up, wide. Where am I? he thought. A forest?

He touched his face and felt weird. It just felt weird, like he's in another body. He stood up and looked around. Trees, twigs, leaves, flowers, brightness, and the bluest sky he's ever seen.

How did I get here? he thought. He couldn't remember anything. It was like, everything had been wiped out, clean. He looked down and saw a weird looking dagger. he picked it up... so filthy, and sharp... and hard. It had no handle, it's a broken dagger. He could see the stains of dry blood on it. What did I do? Is this mine? He asked himself.

The dagger was shaking, made him realize that he's trembling. What happened? he thought. Questions were lingering on his head. What is this? Who am I? Where am I? When did I collapsed? How the hell did I forget everything?

He rubbed his hair, trying to remember anything. He couldn't. How old am I? Where did I came from? the more he thinks, the more the fear. He shook off his thoughts... with the thought, 'it can come back if it wanted to'.

He heard the sound of waters streaming down. Is it a waterfall? or a river? He followed the sound... kept looking around like a paranoid child. Only trees he saw and some small animals. He looked down at his walking legs, it felt weird in a very weird way. Walking with two legs, two feets, five toes, just that, no tails, or claws.

He arrived to the source of the sound and found a river and... a waterfall at the end. He sat there, near the river. He looked to his own reflection.

He furrowed his brows. From the looks of him, he realized that he's a 12 year old... probably. Is this amnesia? he thought.

He kept staring at himself. 2 light, almost white, blue eyes, a nose, a lip, 2 ears, black extra messy, dirty hair... his face, it was not unfamiliar to look at. Just a normal human. But, on the other side... on a side of his heart, he asked to himself... 'who the heck is this?'

He drank the waters and laid back, rubbing his forehead. He couldn't grasp anything, like everything is new, but old at the same time.

what happened?... Who am I?
