It hurts

Dan asked with a puzzled look on his face if I knew who that guy was. He looked serious so I said that I had seen him but could not remember who he was. He said if I remembered last year's boys captain of the university. I of course said no because it was my first year at the university. He said that the guy I just waved to was our principal's son and a big part of the film industry. He also informed me that it was him who had chosen me to be in this film. His name was Kabir. He was Russian but as he was born in India they kept his name Kabir. It was a beautiful name to be honest. I looked towards the stage to see some men organising things. A minute later, the guy who I had seen on my television giving awards on award shows walked up to the stage. The one and only Joush Sallister was standing right infront of me. I could not believe my eyes. Then for a second, we met eyes. I froze in my seat. He gave me a soft smile before beginning his speech. He then went on about the movie and the cast. When he came to the actress who was going to be my best friend, I had to pinch myself twice to believe that it was not a dream and he wasn't joking. It was Myra Abis. The actress who was known to kill guys only with her gaze was going to be my best friend for the movie. Then he came to my name. He introduced me and my father. All the cast and crew clapped after his speech was done. He looked at me before getting off the stage. After it was finally over, Dan asked me to wait for him near the gate while he went and got some snacks for me. I walked to the gate and leaned on it bowing to every person I knew. At that moment Kabir walked up to me and said hi. Not a second later, Joush walked up to me. I greeted both of them with a smile. Both of them handed me a bottle of water. They looked at each other with a grin. They both looked like they were fighting for me. I waited for Dan to come and get me out of this mess. He came and handed me some packets of biscuits. We bid both of them goodbye and left. As we were heading to the place where the shooting was going to take place, I told Dan what had happened at the gate. He laughed and stroked my head. I was not able to tell him that I got butterflies every time he stroked my head. The place where the shooting was going to take place was bustling. I saw men and women running around with cameras and other equipment in their hands. It was a beautiful place with trees and fountains. It looked exactly like the place my younger self had imagined when I wanted to become an actress. Dan asked if I liked that place and I nodded my head up and down in excitement. He smiled and said that I was so cute before walking away. I could not believe my ears. Dan said that I was cute. I could not wait to tell this to Natalie and the others. I saw Dan walking to one of the caravans parked in the corner. I smiled. That smile did not last long. I saw a long camera stand tumbling down. I ran to Dan and pushed him aside but ended up getting hurt and falling to the ground. The last thing I remembered was saying that it hurts and many people surrounding me. Then I lost consciousness and my eyes shut down. I woke up with a headache. It was killing me. My eyes opened to see flowers and DAISIES beside my bed. I started sneezing. My head hurt more. I saw a woman in a white coat and blue trousers running in shouting that I was awake. My eyes were getting shut again. I pointed to the bouquet of daisies. I gestured to her in between sneezes to take them away. She immediately took it and ran outside. I saw Dan and some men rushing in. Dan cupped my face with his hands. He looked worried. He asked how I was. I said that I was fine but my head hurt and I was feeling a little dizzy. I asked Dan what was happening. He said that I had fainted trying to save him. He held my hand in both his palms and put his head over it. He thanked me and stroked my head. I think I was gone crazy because I told him that I got butterflies when he stroked my head. He let out a little laugh. He saw that I was uncomfortable around all the people so he told them to go out and let me get some rest. They left. He got up from his chair and started leaving too but I held his hand tightly. He smiled and helped me to sit up. I asked him if he was fine. He said that he was alright. I was worried that I would disturb the movie schedule. He laughed. He said that everybody was so grateful that I had saved him. I felt accomplished but something was not feeling right. My eyes started to become heavy and the last thing I saw was Dan waving his hand over my face with a worried look. My head started feeling light as I went unconscious. I woke up. I felt somebody holding my hand. It was Dan. He was holding me tight and had fallen asleep. He looked like an angel. I called for a nurse. She came to check on me. I asked her what time it was. She informed me that it was almost midnight. I asked her what Dan was doing here. She said that Dan was here from the time I was unconscious. I thanked her. After she left the room, I put my hands on Dan's head. I brushed through his hair with my fingers. I loved Dan and I could not deny that fact.
