An unexpected confession

Lizzie and I were in the same room and Dan was assigned to the other room. I got on my bed thinking about Dan's confession to me. He had acted normal from the time he had confessed to me. I wiped a sweat from my forehead. After thinking about him for a while, I drifted off to sleep. In the morning I got up to see Lizzie towering over me. I got startled and got up quickly. She giggled and asked me to dress up. I looked at my watch to see that it was only 7 in the morning. I remembered that the shooting started at ten in the morning. I asked her why and she said that she wanted to go out. I laid back down and covered my face with my blanket. She pulled the blanket and I looked up to see her smiling at me. I got down from the bed slowly with sleep in my eyes. I brushed and had a bath quickly because Lizzie kept on banging at the washroom door for me to hurry up. I quickly changed into a tank top and a pair of skinny jeans. I took the card out of the card holder and headed downstairs with Lizzie. We walked down the stairs and headed to the front door. India was different from Russia. They had big flowers on the front door and a lemony and tangerine smell filled the air. A big man who looked like a butler but with a cloth wrapped around his head opened the door for us. We thanked him and headed out. My heart stopped for a second. I couldn't believe my eyes. Dan stood there in the middle of the cast and crew with a wide smile on. He was holding a bouquet of roses of different colours wrapped around in a net kind of cloth. Tears filled my eyes when I read the banner that Lucas was holding. It was written 'Jessica will you be my girlfriend'. I wiped a tear that was about to drop down. I slowly walked towards Dan. He handed me the bouquet. I tried my best not to cry but tears made their way through my eyes. Dan looked at me lovingly. I smiled in between my sobs. Everybody clapped and oohed me. Dan got on his knees and brought out a pendant kept in a bow with velvet covering. I wiped my tears. I looked down to the ground for a minute and said yes. He jumped up from his knees and hugged me. Everybody started clapping. Tears flowed down my eyes non stop. I was happy to be with Dan. After hugging for another five minutes, we left each other. The crowd cleared. Dan took me by the hand and started running. While running I asked him where we were going. He just smiled in return. He caught on to my hand tight but gently. I felt loved and felt that there was somebody who cared for me. We stopped under a big tree and I tried to catch my breath. Dan and I sat on a bench. He put his hand on mine. I blushed. Dan suddenly took his hand off and reached for something in his pocket. He brought out the necklace and hung it in front of my face. I smiled. It was a beautiful necklace with a thin chain and a light pink pendant in the shape of a heart hanging from it. He put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me in closer. I supported my head on his shoulder and smiled. He held the necklace higher and that is when I noticed something was unusual. I looked closely at the necklace and saw that something was written inside the heart shaped pendant. I realised that it was Jan. Tears flooded my eyes once again as I realised that it was a couple name for Jessica and Dan. He smiled and pushed my hair to one side. After he opened the necklace, he looked at me for permission. I nodded. He got closer to me and put his face near my ear. I got a shiver as I felt his warm breath touch my ears. He put the necklace around my neck and settled it. He was about to move behind when I hugged him tightly. He chuckled and snaked his arms around my back. After some time he got up and offered me his hand. I took it and we walked back to the hotel. The cast and crew members gave us a grin as they saw us holding hands. I quickly pulled it away but Dan pulled me back in. We walked back to the room to change into the shoot clothes. After I got changed I headed out of the room. Dan was waiting for me. He whispered in my ear that he had designed the necklace. I wanted to cry again. I caught hold of his hand and thanked him for taking care of me. I suddenly had a thought flashed through my mind. I asked Dan if he would still love me if I didn't put makeup on. He chuckled and said that he would always love me. I put my arm through his and walked down. The whole day was tiresome as we had a lot to shoot. It was blazing hot in India. I got through the day thinking about two people. Dan and Uncle Josh were the only people on my mind that day. After an exhausting day, we all returned back to the hotel. I collapsed on my bed and saw Lizzie smiling at me. She informed me that Dan was waiting for me. I hurriedly got up and headed out of the room. Dan was really standing there. He dangled a car key in front of my face. He asked me if I wanted to go meet my uncle. I agreed and headed to the garage of the hotel. I asked one of the people who worked there for a map. He handed it to me and I got in the car.
