[And so... My nightmare begins.]

Siren
Silence immediately fills our classroom as our homeroom adviser enters. And wow... She's really beautiful. She has caramel-like skin, long, curly hair, and a really gorgeous face. She actually resembles my favorite actress, Zendaya, only she has really deep dimples that are visible even when she's not smiling.
Ah, finally, one good thing happened to me.
I don't why but my gaze turned to Peach. Maybe I wanted to see her reaction? Well, It's not like I care what she thinks! She must have noticed my stares so she meets my gaze and smiles at me. In return, I frowned at her and averts my gaze.
She seems unfazed. Nice.
What nice! Who cares what she thinks, anyway?!
"Good morning, everyone." She greeted us with a smile. Her voice is low and a little bit unusual for a female but it suits her. I think everything suits her. She then faces the blackboard and writes her name on it.
"My name is Astrid and you may call me Miss Astrid or if you find my name too long, Miss A would do." She faces us again. "I will be your adviser and I teach Science. You may not recognize me since I just got hired this year so Let's help each other out, okay?"
She looks around before continuing. "I'm actually nervous since this is my first advisory class but I know that you'll help me so I can be confident, right?" We answered her in unison as if being enticed by her. She really has that charm that will draw you in.
"Anyway, Since we're all strangers to each other..."
Crap. Not the introductions, please.
"... Let's introduce ourselves, one by one!"
I hate introductions.
Yujin seemed to notice my reaction so she looks at me to check. I sighed and gave her a smile. Can't we just pass the introductions? We will gradually know each other as time goes by. I mean, whether we like it or not, we're stuck with each other for a year! Who am I kidding? It will probably be like this, on every subject, for the entire day. Hmph
The introduction starts until it reached our row. Sooner or later, it will be my turn.
Lea stands up proudly. Her aura really is intimidating, if you think about it. How did I manage to get close to her?
"My name is Lea, and I like dogs."
I got startled when Hana clapped loudly. The whole class laughed so Lea glared at her.
Miss Astrid laughs. "Very well, Lea. Thank you."
Lea sits down, still glaring at Hana but when I laughed, she averts her gaze as if nothing happened.
A few more hello's until it is Peach's turn.
"My name is Inari but you can call me Peach." She said in her sweetest tone possible. Tss. I never heard that voice whenever she was talking to me.
"Oh. Your nickname?"
"Yeah. My mom gave it to me and I got used to it."
"That's a cute nickname."
Peach's smile grew even wider and I can't help but roll my eyes in secret. She sure knows how to work her way with people. "Thank you."
"And... Next?" Miss Astrid looks at me. I stand up reluctantly. I really hate being the center of attraction, especially with a lot of eyes looking at me. I'll just have to do this faster.
"My name is Siren."
"Siren... Tell us briefly about yourself."
"Ha?"
"Do you have a sister?"
What? Why am I being interviewed now?
But I still nod my head an answer. "She's 8 years older than me."
Miss Astrid stares at me as if trying to memorize my face but it didn't last long as she gave me a smile soon after. "Thank you for that, Siren." She then glances at Yujin.
I sit down, heaving a sigh of relief. It's finally over.
"Good job. You hate talking to people, right?" Peach whispers beside me. I just nodded at her. I felt like my energy was drained from that. I'm never talking infront of people again.
I got startled again by Hana's loud clapping while screaming "Good job!" She's the only person I know who has so much energy in the morning.
"It's okay. You don't have to be so nervous." Miss Astrid calmly says.
"It's okay, Yujin! Good job!" Hana screamed once again. I glared at her.
"You didn't clap for me earlier!"
"It's because you're gonna glare at me... Like that!"
"Lea glared at you too!"
"It's fine because it's Lea!"
"And me?"
Our little fight got interrupted by Miss Astrid laughing and telling us off. I kept on glaring at her until Yujin sits down blocking my view.
"And now, let's hear our Miss Energetic."
Hana stands up enthusiastically. "I'm Hana! Let's all be friends!"
A man sitting behind Hana suddenly whispers, "So noisy." But enough for everyone to hear. Hana turns around in surprise.
"What did you say?!"
He coldly stared at her. "Aren't you done? Sit down."
"W-what..."
Wow. He's so rude. What is wrong with him?
"Calm down, Hana. You may sit down for now."
"But!" She sighs in defeat before sitting down, frowning.
"You introduce yourself next, mister." Miss Astrid called.
"I'm Bryan and I hate noisy people." He said, glancing at Hana. I can see her ears getting red. I can't blame her, he is really rude.
"He's referring to me, right? He just..."
Yujin holds her in her arm in hopes to calm her down. "Calm down, Hana. Don't mind him..."
"Don't start a fight. Finish the class first." I intervened as it seems like Hana's about to kill that man. Hana sighs loudly.
"Thank you, Bryan. Next..."
-
It's break time and as usual, we are on our hang-out, the good 'ole haunted stairs.
"How dare he say that? He hates noisy people... Well, I hate him too!" Hana proceeds to take a bite of her sandwich aggressively. Her mood's been really sour after the first class.
"I can relate to him. I hate noisy people too." I said calmly as I take a sip of my choco milk. I don't really want to piss her off even more so I don't know why I said that. Sometimes my mouth thinks faster than my mind.
And as a result, Hana shoots me a glare.
"Siren!"
"But I'm used to it so now I don't hate it."
She frowns and puts down her sandwich. "How is that supposed to make me feel better?"
"Maybe he didn't mean it?" Yujin intervenes.
"No! He clearly means it! He targeted me! I hate him!"
"If what you say is true then why would he do that? Do you know each other from before?" Lea finally speaks up after some time.
"I don't know! I just know that he did that on purpose! And that's mean!"
I sighed. When will this be over? "I think he just hates all noisy things... Or people in general. There are people like that who can't tolerate loud things so don't stress yourself and get it over it."
"I have to tolerate that for a year?!"
I nod. "It'll go by quickly so just endure it," I added, also to remind myself.
"Stop making a big fuss about it. It's not worth it." Lea says. Hana gets quiet and stares at me and Lea before flashing a big grin on her face. Wow. Her mood can change really fast.
"Have you two made up?"
"Who says we're fighting?" I answered calmly though deep down I also don't know the answer.
"I don't know! You just give off that vibe!"
"We're not..." I answered, my tone unsure as I glance secretly at Lea. "...Right?"
"Y-you're really not fighting?" Yujin asks with worry showing clearly on her face.
Lea sighs. "We're not."
I looked at her. I honestly don't know if I should feel relieved or not. Maybe she's just saying that so that they will stop or if she really means it. She's really hard to read.
"You say that but you two have become so awkward." I glared at Hana. When will she stop?
"Is it... Because of us?"
Hana gasps loudly as if coming to a realization. "Don't tell me... You like one of them?"
"Ha?"
Silence.
"I mean... Why else would you be mad?" Hana continued. At this time, I just want to cover her mouth for maybe like... Forever.
"Well, they kept it a secret that's why..." Somehow, Lea's still calm. Like she expected this kind of thing to happen.
Yujin's face dropped even more after hearing that. "I-i'm sorry... We didn't mean to..."
"We didn't keep it a secret. We just needed some time."
Lea takes a deep breath again. "It was childish of me. I'm sorry."
We all looked at her, surprised.
"Wow. I never thought I would hear you say that!" Lea glares at Hana but it will immediately be gone when Yujin smiled at her.
"Thank you, Lea."
Lea smiles back in return.
Is everything really okay?
-
The break time is over. We have 10 minutes before the start of the next class so I decided to freshen up myself by washing my face. I entered the Comfort Room and sees Lea already there, washing her hands at the sink. I carefully approached her.
"You're not really mad?"
"I'm hurt."
I sighed. "You finally speak up. Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"Tell you what? That I like her? And if I do? Would it change anything?"
"Maybe..."
"You're going to reject her?"
"That's not it."
She turns off the sink and faces me. "Do you like her?"
"Of course!"
She goes quiet for a while and I feel like I'm going crazy. Just say something, will you?
"What about Peach?"
Ha?
"W-what..."
"Aren't you just confused? I'm really gonna hate you if I found out that you're just using someone else to hide who you really like."
"I really like her."
She stares at me once again. Her cold gaze seemingly pierced through me.
"I'll believe you... For now." She leaves but my mind echoes what she just said earlier.
Peach... What about Peach?
What about... Her?
It's not like she likes me too, right?
But, she said she's gonna take me back. And up until now, I still don't know what she means by that.
Peach, you're confusing me and I really don't like it.
I stared at the mirror and it was as if I can see Peach standing beside me, smiling.
"I really need to wash my face."
I whisper as I turn on the sink.
