Yoongi had never felt as alone as he did in his current state, the thick brown liquid running down his esophagus burning his insides at the slightest touch.
Alcohol had always been his one way at coping, but even then he had gotten used to the whiskey he drowned himself in that he no longer becomes numb to the stimulant.
' Yoongi calm it down will ya.'
Hoseoks voice rang through the hallway as he lifted the glass to his lips, the stimulant burning at his chapped skin.
'Fuck off Hoseok.'
Hoseok sighed at his friends hostility as Yoongi mindlessly kicked at the corpse that still lay at the abduction sight.
' Cmon Yoon he didn't mean it like that, he just doesn't know.'
Yoongi chuckled darkly as he waved the small glass in his hand. He knew that he was overacting and maybe the alcohol was affecting his system more than he cared to admit but what Namjoon had said had pissed him off.
' Does it matter or not if he meant it? He still said what he said.'
' Come on Yoon give me the glass.'
Hoseok gestured for him to hand it over but Yoongi being stubborn refused and continued to pour himself yet another glass. Maybe the alcohol was easing his pain, he didn't care however, the repetition was addicting.
' Do you ever wonder if she's still alive? That she's living a healthy life away from all this type of shit?'
The liquid inside the glass over spilled as he continued to pour in the alcohol, to distracted by his thoughts to even stop.
' If she was alive Tae would have found her by now. Just accept it Yoongi, she's dead and nothing is going to bring her back.'
' I can't just pretend that she's dead if there's a possibility she's alive!'
The glass of the decanter cracked as he slammed it against the wooden pedestal, turning to face the younger boy with a scowl adorning his features.
' Why don't you blame me Hoseok.'
His voice split as he gulped down the last of the whiskey.
' Why can't you just blame me for everything that ever happened to her.'
Hoseok looked at his friend watching the tears escape his eyes as he tried to keep up his hard exterior. He was aware of his friends thoughts on the situation and he could never blame him for it so instead he let his own emotions overtake him as he engulfed the broken boy in his arms.
' None of this is your fault, I can't blame you for something that you couldn't have stopped. We were young and Naive, none of us could have predicted the outcome.'
' If I was home when they came I could have stopped them.'
' If you were home I would have lost everyone that day.'
A small cough dragged through the atmosphere as Yoongi looked up from Hoseoks shoulder with puffy eyes.
Jimin stood timidly in front of him his hands clasped behind his back as he tried to fight away his nervousness.
' Joons calling an emergency meeting in the living room.'
Hoseok slowly pulled away from the alcoholic smelling boy with a lopsided smile, turning to face Jimin.
' Didn't he just call one?'
' This one is more important so hurry up.'
' Watch who you're talking to you little shit.'
Jimin gulped audibly before scurrying down the hall not bothering to apologise for his actions. Yoongi scoffed as he leant against Hoseok for support, both of them slowly desecending to the living room.
The noise from the room was unbearable to Yoongi's ears and the lights seemed much brighter than before but he didn't mind as he allowed himself to fall casually onto the love seat.
Everyone knew from the strong stench of whiskey that the elder had been drinking, deciding to ignore him for the safety of there lives as they waited for the ringleader for the meeting.
' Where the fuck is the little shit, coming late to his own organisation.'
Yoongi spat idly from the chair, disrupting a few other members that lay in conversation. Eventually, the taps of feet drafted into the room as Namjoon and Jin are their appearance in the doorway.
' My apologies that I'm late I had to discuss some things with Jin Hyung.'
Yoongi tolled his eyes as Namjoon entered the room with a thick parchment wrapped under his arm, sitting down only inches away from he was sat.
' Firstly, I would like to apologise to you Hyung what I said before was not meant to hurt you in anyway so I you can forgive me overtime.'
Namjoons words were filled with sincerity that only seemed to heighten Yoongi's anger, and as much as he wanted to attack him in that moment he refrained from doing so allowing Namjoon to attack the coffee table for the next announcement.
' I know all of you are wondering why I have called another meeting so soon and the answer is this.'
He unrolled the parchment on top of the table, pinning it down with the cups that rested upon it.
' We believe that MJ has been gaining alliances throughout the underground obviously behind Kangs back, however these gangs are powerful and led by no apparent ruler. They are anonymous.
What we need to do is find these groups and find out as much information as we can. It seems to obvious for them to be solely trade and could be used as the plot to overthrow Kang.
The second thing, is the riddles. I will be personally be working on her words to find out the meaning behind all of this but that will take some time. The only similarity between them is the 'secrecy' but if it's a secret it will be harder to solve. Of course we will be searching her room for any extra clues and businesses that will help us but it seems almost impossible to decifer so far.
Thirdly, we are going to be making our debut in the pits again from this Saturday which means all of you must be on top of your health. It had been past our time where we are trampled upon and taken advantage of, if we have to we use Widow as our symbol to gain more power.
Lastly, MJ shows no signs of recovering anytime soon which means if we can get the groups on our side we may have a shot at taking out the Japanese buisnesswoman that trades with Kang. We follow her plans until the end not a single thing will be changed.'
