Chapter Seven

The three of them left the Morning Star Hotel to go where the tracker is pointing at. Liel studied the Metro Manila Map and identified the tracker's pointing location and it was at Sta. Ana, Manila which is far from Malate, Manila. They have to travel more than an hour to get there.

"Are we going to contact August or grab a Taxi?" Alphyne asked the two who was discussing about the next location.

"We have to know why we can't track Katolanon using this Tracker. We have to rescue her as soon as possible but why did it brought us to where an agent of Sitan were?" Liel asked Andrew who was also thinking a probable reason.

"Do you think they have planned it from the very start?" Andrew replied making Liel looked at him questionably.

"How and when did that happen? Our Institute is always being protected by Diwatas living at the Acacia tree."

"I don't know."

"Hey?" Andrew and Liel turned to her.

"Might as well we have to make a plan first." Alphyne offered.

"We should grab a taxi and let's make strategy while we travel."

"So you heard me!" Liel and Andrew gave her a chuckle.

"Geez. Come on, we have to get this over with." Alphyne muttered and they booked a taxi using their special app that is only limited for the Demis. It was invented by Harrisson Buenaobra to be contacted for an exclusive travel when having a mission. It was built to be auto-piloted that you can just encode your destination and the car will automatically drive you towards the encoded destination. After thirty-minutes of waiting their car finally arrived. Now it's a Toyota Innova with a plate number of LIE 313. This time, Alphyne sat the passenger seat while Andrew sat at the driver's seat and Liel sat behind. Andrew encoded the location of their destination using the device attached at the stereo.

"Just why didn't we use this car when we left yesterday. I didn't want to deal with August." Liel grunted as he put the map of Metro Manila on his face. Andrew and Alphyne turned to him.

"Does he have an ill-manner towards August?" Alphyne whispered towards Andrew while her attention was at Liel.

"Let's just say that they aren't that close compared to how close we are." Alphyne turned to Andrew and saw how close their faces are. Andrew smiled at her while she only stared at him; and then, blew something on his face.

"Wha--! Al! what is that?" He exclaimed then sneezed repeatedly.

"Pepper."

"Pepper?!...I'm aller...gic...to that!" Andrew kept on sneezing repeatedly.

"Well, that's your consequence. Deal with it." Liel stated as he witnessed what they were doing earlier and let Alphyne defend herself.

"Liel! ...You're cruel!" He's still sneezing repeatedly without any signs of stopping.

"I...I didn't know." Alphyne was a little worried to what she has done. She knows that extreme sneezing can cause heart attack as the heart constantly stop.

"Don't mind him." Liel just shrugged knowing that Andrew always has his allergy medicine in case something like this happen. Andrew put out his medicine and ate it like a candy. In just a mere minute his sneezing died down.

"Geez, don't do that." Andrew told Alphyne after he ate his medicine. Liel turned to him.

"Sorry." Alphyne looked down as she apologizes.

"So it's Alphyne's fault now? You have been teasing her and now that she defended herself, she will be the one who will apologize? Are you on your right mind?" Liel confronted. He didn't get what Andrew is thinking at all. He certainly is at the one at fault here but he pointed out Alphyne's mistake instead.

"...Right. Sorry Al." Andrew realized his fault the moment Liel corrected. Andrew is a type of person who can easily point someone when he was certainly at fault and Liel is always the one who correct him in this habit of his. Let just say that their relationship is beyond childhood friends, they more like brothers; Andrew is the faulty younger brother while Liel is the responsible big brother.

"Yeah. I'm sorry too. I didn't know." Alphyne mumbled and was still looking down. Liel was just watching them and sighed next.

"Just get your sheet together. We are still at the middle of our mission." Liel said, breaking the awkwardness between the two. After that moment, silence filled the car as Alphyne and Liel were looking outside for sceneries while Andrew was planning of what they would do when they arrived at their next destination.

"Do you think we should grab food first? It's about time for lunch." Andrew muttered after ten minutes of silence. Liel smiled, he totally knows how long Andrew will last in keeping silent. He is a talkative person after all.

"We should. What do you think, Alphyne?" But they froze the moment they see what state Alphyne is in. Alphyne was crying silently as her hands were shaking so obvious like she was being shaken by someone. Andrew and Liel didn't know what to do. They were too shocked but they suddenly remembered what had Louis told them that one time.

"Her father died in front of her. She may be hiding her pain but you never know when it will come out because something that triggered her trauma. Please look after her."

"Stupid!" Liel exclaimed at Andrew and hugged Alphyne.

"Hey, hey Al. It's fine now. You're alright, we're alright. Nothing's wrong. No one's going to die." He shushes her like a mother who soothes her child.
