Diane
"Diane?" The woman said quietly, whispering in the air, her voice sounded like a cold echo, a cry for help.
"Diane! Please, where are you?!" She yelled echoing in the lonely black abyss.
"Mom? Is that you?" Diane yelled back in question and utter confusion, walking towards the voice, in the infinite black nothing.
"DIANE!?" She yelled, helpless, she was hurt.
"MOM?!" Diane yelled. Where was she, let me find you, let me help you!
'Run, run, RUN!' The words repeated in her head, but she couldn't run she was trapped, stuck unto the floor, the floor was her new home, 'I'm part of it now'.
'No!' She refused to let the floor consume her, She must help her! The black abyss spread unto her legs, and she stomped the floor.
But the black turned into red, red and orange flames, burning her legs, turning them pure red, red for blood.
Red like her burning eyes, like her fiery embers.
She wished to replace her own with hers.
She didn't feel the fire anymore, She shouldn't, it's just fire.
It couldn't do anything to her, and all that she gave a damn about right now was her, 'I must find her.'
Diane ran as fast as she could, but I guess I wasn't fast enough, cause once she made it to her, it was already too late, her body covered in the red substance, it was everywhere, splattered all over the floor.
Whoever killed her had no regrets and no plans of keeping her alive.
She was dead, and no one could've stopped them.
"DIANE?!" A voice yelled far away, but loud enough for her to hear through the echos.
Her body instantly reacted and Flew upwards, startled by her brothers screaming.
She scanned her room, as perfect as it was, it was still messy.
Diane Hellfire never bothered with calling the maids to clean her room, they had no business being in the Queen's room, nor was it necessary for them to be. The bed she'd been sleeping on was big, She loved it, as the Queen of Hell had never been allowed this luxury before, it was a queen-sized bed, standing in the middle of the room, the silk sheets and blanket were covered in her sweat from her reoccurring nightmare.
Like everything else, the sheets black, and the blanket red, red as blood, her grandfather said once.
Not her blood, however, her blood was black, not the crimson red pulping through your veins, but instead a black liquid. Like her grandfather, and like her mother if she had joined the hellfire family.
She looked at the bookshelf beside the wall, to say it was big was an understatement, and Diane liked it that way, the bookshelf spread to every inch of her room taking shape of every object to dodge it. Some notebooks were stacked on top of the bookshelf. Every inch of the shelves had been painted black, with red roses all intertwined together. The Scarlett beauty's where painted everywhere throughout the palace, sometimes paint dripping, but it wasn't by accident, it was to give the message; engrave it into your mind, blood is spilled.
Her Grandfather said before his arrival the 'paint' was in fact blood of angels, sometimes you have to wonder if it still is.
She turned my body to her nightstand, a glass of water already placed on it, Diane grabbed the ice-cold glass and shivered at the feeling. Everything here was hot, ice-cold glass of water was not normal, however, It did not mean Diane still needed it, still craved it.
Someone slams her door open, She doesn't flinch, her brother did this frequently.
"DIANE?!" He yelled into her sister's room, another one of his tantrums Diane considered.
"Yes, Daniel?" Diane said in a monotone voice, putting down the glass back onto the table and stood up from the bed.
"Did you just wake up?!" Daniel said angrily, staring down at Diane's crimson red robe.
"In fact, I did dear brother, am I needed?" Diane asked walking to her closet putting her tanned hand on the closet door, she did not look at him, no need to look at his face, no need to see his red face and red eyes.
"Sir Hellfire has called upon you," Daniel said slamming his palm against the door, forcing his sister to look at him. This time his eyes weren't red as they normally are, but a strange tinge of red light reflected on his eyes, however, his face was red, but not pure red.
"I see you've learned to control your anger, Daniel" Diane laughed, hiding the fear rising up in herself, at the sudden use of her Grandfathers title, Mason Hellfire. Or as the court refers him to, Sir Hellfire, or rather King, Lord, Hellfire.
"I recommend you change rather rapidly, little sis." He said sneering. She smiled at him and opened the door to her closet, quietly panicking in her mind.
Diane close the door behind her and looked into the giant closet, if Grandfather had called her, it must be important. She focused on the thought of her red and black gown, she never fancied dresses, but her Grandfather did.
'Threaten them with nothing but your clothing; appearance, your mouth doesn't always have to be open to intimidate, Diane.'
The dress smacks her face with much force, she angrily pulls it out of my face and threw it against the ground, when she pulled her shoes towards her more careful so they don't smack her in the face like the gown— this time they land neatly beside the gown, her thin tanned hand grabbed them and pulled them along with her body to the bathroom, her grandfather said it's not necessary to shower in literal hell, something to do with being dead and all that, but the Hellfire Queen always felt dirty, filthy without it.
She felt the boiling water hit her naked body, Diane would stand, or sit in the shower for hours, burning away the memories of her retched dreams, but today she did not have time to look for comfort in the water.
Being late wasn't what startled Diane, it was more her grandfather, that startled her; they had not held a conference for so long, and that normally meant something important, whether it's horrifying or exciting.
'It's never exciting, no matter how much I wish it was.'
Her grandfather finds rather peculiar importance to being on time, so considering this fact; it's probable he sent Daniel to alert Diane before time.
The Queen walked out of the shower and pulled the gown over her body, adjusting the sleeves and skirt, the gown was cut on the side, so she pulled it down just enough to cover her thighs, the red top of her shirt faded to black, making my skirt and my waist covered in black clothing, the red top and red sleeves were a dark red, and the bottom of the sleeves were black and ruffled.
She stared at her shoulders, covered in white fur, two string on top of her chest, pulling the fur together. A cape pulled together under the white fur, the cape-like everything else was black with a red stripe at the bottom.
She stared at her messy purple hair through the mirror, fluorescent and bright, a lilac tone, it was messy and frizzy not having time to fix it she just brushed it over, instead of helping it just made it frizzier and she groaned in defeat.
She polished the black horn and her red horn, the two shining proudly.
She wiped a bit of makeup onto her face, trying to hide my lack of sleep with the powder, added a bit of black eyeshadow, and painted the family brand with red onto her cheek.
Flames.
Walking out of the room she faced Daniel. He looked calmer his skin back to his normal caramel tone, his brown hair now organized and of to one side, and the small tinge of red on his eyes was gone, leaving behind my brother's orange eyes. His red and black horns cleaned up, his wings pulled tightly making them look small, she did the same with her own.
"Sorry" He whispered. Diane just shrugged in response, her brother's temper tantrums had become a common thing in the past years; their family overall has a short temper, Diane did as well, though learned to control it over the years— even if her grandfather dislikes it.
Diane can't count how many times we had discussed the matter, she always liked to hide her emotions, if they know how she feels, they can manipulate her feelings, so she always keeps a neutral expression.
Mason Hellfire, thinks the contrary, he believes If you can't be intimidating, or taken seriously by your emotions, it's a sign of weakness, disrespect; it means people don't fear you.
Whenever their family gets temper tantrums the 'servants' keep their distance— Mason said it's because one time, another Hellfire Queen while throwing objects around the room, a servant came in, getting hit right in the face with part of the obsidian desk.
Diane has met the woman; she's not quite pleasant, to say the least.
It's not like Diane would ever let another demon, half-dead, or an angel, into her room— not like one would ever enter Diane's room. She's made it very clear to everyone that no 'servant' shall enter the Queen's dormitory without proper consent, only allowed to report, and clean on very specific terms.
No matter how many times they've told Diane it's better for them in the palace then out there, She still detests the thought of making one do something for her. She can do things by herself, besides, She knows how it is to be one, and hated It.
The feeling of not being in control, knowing she's below them, that they are far superior and know they are superior.
She wished she could pull their heart out of their chest. And their tongue out of their mouth; 'let's see if they finally shut up about that superiority they truly wish they had.'
"Your hair is an absolute mess" Daniel grabs a strand of her sister's bright purple hair and puts it in her face. He then makes his way to my mirror and grabs a hairbrush.
"Really?" Diane rolls her eyes, while her brother stands behind her and starts pulling her hair with the comb. He pulls Diane's hair into familiar buns, and puts in the transparent spikes, making a wall around the buns.
Letting some hair loose up to his sister's shoulder, Diane touches the buns spikes; perfect as always.
"Do you know anything?" Diane asked referring to the upcoming meeting.
"I wish I did, grandfather just threw a glass of wine across the room and yelled at me to get you ready" Diane frowned at his response, Mason always thought of Daniel as inferior, 'when he is anything but.'
Diane remembered when they first made It to the kingdom of Londel, her brother was supposed to become a knight, and her, merely a Queen after much discussion.
She would only be useful when having to marry a man from another kingdom— grant peace before kingdoms. Which she almost did.
"Like some kind of slave" Daniel murmured angrily.
"Don't say that," Diane said punching his shoulder, which she immediately regretted after hitting her hand against the sharp obsidian.
"Fuck!" Diane yelled her voice becoming deep, and her brother soon gives her a response. His warm laugh fills the room.
"I'm sorry, I meant to look intimidating"
"Nice try, all you managed to do was break my hand!" Diane exclaimed her voice turning back to normal, she pulled out a little glass flask and letting the white liquid drip over my hand.
"Wait— You actually broke it?"
"I don't see why you find such importance in something like looking 'intimidating' if you don't look like yourself, why bother?" Diane said looking at her brother's tall figure. "I'm not only talking about this outfit," She said looking up and down at her brother, his shoulders covered in obsidian, spikes sticking out, his chest covered in the familiar obsidian, like his knees, elbows and so on...
"So why don't you wear armour? You are the knight here, difference is you got the rank of Queen"
"Cause, Dani—" Her grandfather's words repeat over and over in her head, and so she passes them on: "Let them think you're weak, so when they try to attack, they'll never see what hit them" Diane pulled out the little flask of green liquid from her boot. In return, her brother rolled his eyes and pulled his sister out of her bedroom to the meeting.
"Morning, Your highness," A woman says besides Diane. She looks at Amy and laughs; 'your Highness' ridiculous. She smiles back, her white teeth gleaming in the low light of the palace, her blonde hair contrasting with everything else, it's messy, normally she's in death duty at this hour, maybe P.F.S.C (Punishment for sins committed) duty— her tips of blonde hair red, and the knives tucked into her belt are not placed properly, she was still wearing her famous red and black striped sweater, cut at her chest revealing her stomach, the sleeve was rolled up and some pieces of ripped up clothing knotted together roughly. And her white and black horn had a drop of red on the tip, things got bloody.
"Are you planning to meet my grandfather, and a long generation of Hellfire Queens, and Kings wearing leather leggings, and a ripped crop top?" Daniel hissed.
"Yes, Yes I am. Does that happen to be a problem, Daniel?" Amy smirks, her bright blue eyes then turn to look at Diane's orange ones, her thin black pupil made the bright and light colour of her eye stand out and gleam. "Am I supposed to be another Amy Azure today? Like Diane who seems to be wearing a gown"
"You're supposed to be properly dressed, Amy" Daniel crossed his arms, and stopped walking.
"I didn't know hell had dress code, oh no! I'm showing my shoulders, he's going to give me detention!" Amy jokes, stopping beside Diane.
"Hellfire Palace does, Azure" Daniel hissed, he took a very weird importance in dressing 'properly'.
"Not only do your eyes look like snakes, you hiss like one too" Amy looked at Daniel with a look Diane couldn't place.
"If your so bothered by It, dress her up" Diane shrugged looking at her brother with a serious and 'bored' glance.
"Sure thing!" Daniel looked at Amy and smiled putting his hand on her shoulder before disappearing into thin air. No protest, no 'Diane!'coming out of her mouth.
"Your Highness, Lord Hellfire Is waiting for you In the Star room" A boy servant said walking beside her with much difficulty keeping up with her long legs. He looked so young— 18, maybe? Not like she was much older when she died. He looked nervous and scared, new probably, no one would say anything to the Queen before being absolutely sure I know the information they've been ordered to give. Too scared of my image to face it.
"Yes, I am aware. Thank you." I dismissed him with a wave of a hand, his thin, but tall human figure walking away. Diane sees a burning beacon of light blind her eyes, and the light was gone as fast as it came. To her right was a familiar scarlet red hair and the braid on the side of her head, strands of hair on her face and the rest of her long hair into a tight ponytail, her red horn shined and her black one looked matte.
Her hazel eyes scanned Diane's appearance, her thin pupils travelling to my hair. "Even the hair?" She chuckled, her British accent hidden.
"Morning to you too, Hendrix" Diane kept looking straight passed her, throwing her a glance once in a while.
"This is defiantly out of place for you" Amber smiled tapping with her nail the obsidian on her shoulders. "Except, of course, the armour"
"I see you're dressed for a ball" Diane smiled at her dress, a short puffy dress, the skirt black, and the top sleeveless and red, a black outline around the pointy edges around her chest. Her pearl necklace shined strangely in the dim light of the castle.
"This, what your wearing, is for getting married. It's way out of your comfort zone, no?"
"Maybe it is, but Mason doesn't need to know that" Diane gave Amber a little wink hoping she'd get the message.
"Where's your brother?"
"With Amy, getting her ready, a mess really"
"Of course she was, the idiot of a messenger gave her the letter today, when it was supposed to be given out yesterday— she also was covering Damian in P.F.S.C, there was a mistake, and he had to head out and fix it. Damian might be late as well"
"And what were you doing?"
"Oh, I overslept"
"Demons don't need sleep, especially you"
"Yes, but it does not mean I don't do it, look at you! We're dead and you still shower and drink water, cold water"
"You eat food!"
"Everyone eats food, they won't admit, but everyone still eats food. Why the fuck do you think we have cooks?"
"Cause my grandmother demanded it, she wanted to taste what a demon couldn't and human could, it eventually turned into a form of torture"
"How do you torture people with food?" Amber looked at Diane raising her brow in utter confusion.
"I don't know, you tell me, that's what you do. I don't torture people"
"Punish, Diane" Amber hissed.
"Whatever you say, Hendrix" Diane smiled and looked at the halls, dark and warm, the walls a grey marble and as mentioned before scarlet roses painted all over the walls, up ahead was a painting of a Hellfire King, Frederick Hellfire, he wore a soft smile in the portrait, unlike most. Almost all held a glare or serious expression.
Frederick was the 'Peaceful ruler' of the Hellfire line, if he could be called so, our entire family did start off with Lucifer, who used to be an angel, Frederick wanted to keep being the angel he could've been before his father decided his fate, he tried to not torture the Half- dead's, he tried to teach them another way, he tried to do the entire 'another life' thing, he tried so hard to not harm them and it backfired so badly, he couldn't take it anymore, and turned every human he could find into statues. He killed people that were already dead and turned them Into statues, and that's all they'll be for their entire afterlife.
That's why most of the Hellfire's don't care about consequences and what's right or wrong, cause even If they are demons, if they're made to be evil, if maybe they are pure evil. They don't want to lose control, to do something so repugnant and disgusting— such torture to humans, to be watching quietly and unmoving for all eternity, even demons could never do something so evil.
"That man is terrifying, peaceful ruler? He's a monster" Amber shudders.
"A corrupted man, Amber. Poor thing didn't know, how humans could be so selfish and disgusting" Diane looked at the portrait. "It's something we could all become, even if trying to be right. Anyone can and will— at some point, lose control" As they passed the portrait another beacon of light fill their eyes, and disappears, leaving behind only Daniel and Amy. Amy looked better, her horns matte and had armour on her shoulder, arms, and legs, and badges across her chest on top of a red line going diagonally through her chest— Her hair was brushed out but still messy.
"You look better" Diane smiled.
"What do you mean, I can't better, if I'm already amazing" Amy gives Diane a goofy grin.
"Where's Damien or Silver?" Daniel interrupted.
"Damien will most likely be late" Amber responds. "Silver was probably an hour early and is waiting along with Lord Mason."
"Of course, always early" Daniel smiles and then carefully turns he's head as if looking around, as if he was thinking, searching.
"You okay?" Asked Amy looking at the tall boy's figure.
"Perfectly fine, Amy" Daniel responded shaking his head left and right as if trying to shake something of his head.
"I don't think so, you almost crashed right onto the door" Amber said, she had stopped walking and extended an arm in front of Daniels's walking figure making him stop in front of it.
"I knew that, I was going to open it" Daniel lied backing away from Ambers arm, she let it fall down and she sighed.
"Daniel, just watch where you're going," Amber said, Diane stepped forward and placed her long fingers on the knob, and turned it gently, but instead of opening quietly and peacefully, the door slammed open, to face an expressionless Silver and an angry Mason Hellfire.
Mason wasn't 'old' Demons didn't really age, except emotionally which starts affecting the physical, Mason gets stressed and angry easily making him older in a way, his hair was black and organized, his eyes red, and pupils thin, his face was pointy like Diane's and Daniel's, he wore a red shirt with a long black tie across his chest and stomach.
Silver had some leather leggings, and a tight black shirt, with a white line across her body, her belt had little pockets and each pocket had a flask of some sort In it, her hair was organized, her normal curls that normally laid on her face were pulled to the side of her face and her hair was more flat, the silver fade looked brighter and shined against the dark light of the palace it didn't look matte and grey like her hair tends to look, she looked cleaned up, organized, but whoever did It was still unable to take away her black blindfold across her eyes.
"What took you so long?! And where's Dubois?!" Mason yelled, getting up from his chair slamming his hands against the dark marble table making the expressionless Silver slightly jump.
"Damien will be late as a messenger gave Amy and Damien the letters In late" Amber explained pursing her lips in annoyance.
"So why is Azure here? Get me, Dubois, we need everyone, Now!" Mason barked, looking at Amy with wide eyes. "You're Diane's adviser, go get him," Mason said brushing his hand back and forth in the air as a command.
"There's a difference between being an adviser and a servant, Lord Mason." Amy bitterly spit out.
"Grandfather" Diane spoke up and looked at Masons angry figure. "How many times do I have to explain this to you? Amy Azure is not here or is ever to attend those kinds of needs, she's here to attend very different situations, shes my adviser, not a maid, not a cook nor messenger" Diane slipped her hand Into Amy's and gave it a little squeeze before a little flame came alive in her palm, she pulled away rapidly so to not harm Amy.
Daniel looks at a bell in the center of the table, and the bell gently flies towards him, he puts his hand out and the bell falls Into his long thin hand with a clink. He grasps the bell with his two long fingers and moves it back and forth making annoying high pitched noises, soon enough a quiet knock comes from the big black door, the red roses on the door shined brightly even with the dim light that comes from hell.
Diane walks to the door and looks at it with a sharp stare, the door opens slowly as to not hurt the half dead waiting. "Get Damien Dubois, now, no exceptions" Diane orders looking down at the blonde half dead.
"Of course, my Queen," The blonde half dead says, walking away from the door and Diane.
"Now, I believe there must be a reason for this?" Amber asked arching an eyebrow.
"Of course Amber, you see we've lost Nicole Green" Silver responds, everyone in the room tenses up, while Diane shivers.
"What do you mean, lost?" Amy gulps, looking wide-eyed at the expressionless pale woman.
"In hell, running around the fire pits and demons. Don't know how and why that's what King Brandon Christ is for." Silver gives everyone a look, Mason looked tried to look calm, but it didn't work, Brandon Christ was hated through every inch of Hell, the Angel King and the Demon Queen did not get along, but Masons hatred for the Christ's is bigger than Diane's could ever be.
"When?" Daniel asks, looking nervously at his twin sister.
"Hour, perhaps, thirty minutes? Damien should be here by then." Silver explained, Diane looked at silvers uniform, white.
She wouldn't be defending Hell or even Heaven, so why Is she here? Of course, she was there, because Silver is the only demon Christ's get along with, and a member of the Hellfire Council.
"What are we supposed to tell them?!" Panicked Amy.
"What I want to know, what idiot demon let her free?!" Amber said angrily looking at the shocked Diane.
"Nicole Green, Is roaming around hell? How did she—" Diane stops, and covers her mouth, she darts her eyes to Daniel for a slight moment, meeting with his sorry eyes. "...what do you propose we do, Grandfather?"
"That Is to be discussed with the Hellfire's, for now, we must face Brandon Christ." He responds, hissing Brandon's title.
"Grandfather, what will happen if— to the demon that did It?" Daniel asks looking at Mason and then at Diane.
"He will be turned into stone and sent to the stone village," Mason says simply, looking at Daniel.
"You're going to kill him?" Amy asks in a worried tone.
"Mason, you cannot be possibly thinking of actually killing—" Amber said in a panic.
"Maybe not, but Nicole Green is walking around in the flames of hell, and if she gets turned into stone, then..." Mason Is unable to keep talking and looks at Silver for help, but she just stands calmly in her chair.
The door opens quietly but rapidly, revealing a hooded figure, his red hood almost blended In with the halls, his hood looked ripped, and ripped to look like two crosses one on his left and the other on his right, pale skin shining as bright as Silver's hair, his face unable to see covered in the red clothing, the hoodie reached down to his waist and he wore black pants. The man took off the hood quickly and his dark eyes darted to Mason, his black and blonde curls laying on his shoulders, messy, one might say, but Damien Dubois wore as if it was made by gods, his pale skin looked bright and odd in the dark castle, with the only light being the flame in torches and the flames outside, his black eyes looked at Diane with an apologetic look, Diane had always liked Damien's eyes, it had some beauty to it, just black, when he would look at you it would be such a deep stare, looking right at you and your soul, so beautiful and yet terrifying.
"I apologize, my Queen, my Lords" Damien bows to Mason, Daniel, and Diane; and carefully scans Diane's dress, he pursed his lips as if trying to hide the things to come out of his mouth. "What have I missed?" He added.
"Lots, Damien" Daniel responded smiling sadly at Damien.
"Now, get yourself fixed up, go get that Lilian girl" Mason says pulling the bell away from Daniel grasping it tightly before moving it back and forth, Damien stays put until a boy comes running to the hall and stands by the door before speaking "My King?"
"Get Lilian Moore for Knight Damien" Mason waves off the boy and he looks at Damien, he seems to realize what he's doing and walks to the servant and they fade away as they walk into the halls of the Palace.
"How do you suggest we defend ourselves?" Amber asks crossing her arms and looking at Mason.
"We don't have a fault in this, it just happens to be she was here when she escaped, if anything Brandon should be blamed for letting loose a dangerous half dead, and bringing her to hell in the first place" Diane responds, making Mason's lips turn Into a straight line, trying to hold back, the room becomes a bit warm and goes back to normal.
"They won't buy that, Diane, they're the Christ's, they don't care who they blame as long as they keep looking Innocent," Amy says frustrated.
"I agree with Azure" Said Mason, "They won't hear us, Diane, only if we have something on them"
"But, we do," Daniel said arching a brow, Diane's face turns into a wicked smirk.
"We have Nicole Green, roaming around in hell"
"We are aware of that, Diane" Amber looked at the smiling Diane like she was out of her mind
"Can't you see it?!" Daniel chuckled.
"She's in hell, and who's the ruler of hell? Me, who gets to decide her fate? Me, and it is I who will decide If I'll give Heaven Nicole Green back." Diane smiled In delight, they couldn't fight, and it made it clear, The Christ's weren't coming to order them to get her.
They were coming because they wanted them to think they had control, which they don't, Nicole Green Is in Hellfire grounds, in the grounds of Lucifer Morningstar, in the grounds that belonged to Diane, they were coming in hope that they wouldn't find out about their ownership over Nicole.
"We have Nicole Green in our hands, finally, and soon we might have Alison," Daniel said.
"We'll get to torture them forever, for even touching Bartholomew Leroy's sword of immortality," Amber says smiling.
"Or Jewel Nikolaidis cup of neverhell" Amy mutters putting a finger on her lip tapping it lightly.
"And even better," Diane said smiling, she looked at her Grandfather straight at his cheerful eyes, "Daniel, Grandfather, and I are going to be the first Hellfire or Morningstar to ever win against a Christ. To ever beat, to outsmart them, they will have to beg to get Miss Green back"
———///———
They sat quietly In their chairs, looking at the each other, Silver kept her head down, she couldn't fight anyone, she couldn't pick a side, but she was gladly allowed to keep whichever of the sides secrets, and not to discuss nor warn the opposite side.
Diane stared at Jasmine and Cora Hellfire, Identical twins, sitting side by side, with the same dress, red and short with a black necklace around their necks. Their black hair sitting on their shoulders, and bright red eyes scanning the room, their dark skin looked particularly darker in the castle.
Chloe Hellfire looked particularly angry that day, she kept this some-what serious expression that seemed to want to burn the room down to ashes, Chloe's bright green hair was the brightest thing in the room which made everything look so monotone and colourless in comparison, her brown eyes looked at Daniel with such hatred one might think she was about to kill him. She wore a velvet red gown, with no armour nor tools to defend herself, Diane starred at her with pure curiosity, Chloe Hellfire wasn't the one to be messed with.
Masons wife and the former Queen, Phoebe Hellfire looked at Diane with a raised eyebrow, Diane and Daniel got along with Phoebe much better than Mason did, Phoebe was a descendant of the half-dead that married Cora Hellfire. Phoebe was nowhere as 'evil' and threatening as that man, Cora to this day is still married to this man, and I would even say he's more terrifying than the twins.
Phoebe's red hair looked thicker and bigger then most days, curls fell onto her face which she gently tucked behind her ears, her fair skin and freckles was not a trait most Hellfire's shared, which made it obvious to the knowledgeable eye that she was not born into it, but when they saw the beautiful black gowns she wore and the crown placed on her big orange mane the even more knowledgeable knew that she should not be touched.
Alec Hellfire looked calm, his pale hand taping the table back and forth, he kept his red eyes on the glass table with such concentration, his curly brown hair on top of his face, his hair reached up to his shoulders covered in clothing, he wore a black shirt with a bright red, Damien looked at the man as to figure out what he was thinking.
Damien had changed into an a formal army uniform, his black tie poked out a little at the end of the red blazer. On his chest, he had medals that Mason forced on him. His hair looked messy but there was no fixing that, he looked uncomfortable and awkward without his hoodie covering his horns, it had been taken away leaving behind a pair of very long black horns.
They heard loud footsteps and they stood up from the chairs, the door opened and they stared at the lonely hall until they saw knights dressed In white armour, marching with swords gripped onto their hands, in the middle of them was, Eleanor Christ, her brown hair laying on her dark shoulders, it looked stiff and fake, but that's how she tends to look.
Liam Christ looked right Masons red eyes in disgust, Mason gave him a glare that even scared Diane, Masons eyes lit up in a familiar red light— Liam Christ and Mason Hellfire probably had more rivalry than anyone else, with the exception of Diane and Daniel with Brandon Christ.
Liam had the familiar blonde hair of his son Brandon, bright and shiny, his eyes unlike Brandon's were a dark shade of maroon, Liam's skin was pale and gentle, and he wore such bright armour, white and shiny, it shined like their halos floating over their heads. Under Liam's halo laid a beautiful white crown, with quartz placed in between pieces of the white iron.
Brandon's wife, Janna Williams, or rather Janna Christ. Janna and Brandon were friends, but they did not love each other. They had not been married because of love, they picked Janna cause she was the half-dead with fewer sins, and turned her into an angel, a cursed angel forced into a lifetime with Brandon Christ. No wonder she soon got so sour. A crown was placed on her wavy brown hair that been pulled in between a pair of braids. Yellowish-brown skin could be barely seen outside the white silk on her body, the collar on her neck had a quartz neckline as well as the waistline. It dragged through the floor, such fine gown, Diane wondered how long a half-dead probably took to sew it, but Janna did not care as much as the Hellfire Queen did.
Beside Janna walked a small girl, brown-haired and dark skin, her dark eyes scanned the room with such curiosity she normally stopped to look at a painting or hall, she jogged back to the knights once she realized how distracted she was, Diane could smell the innocence of her, she covered the bottom of her nose with three fingers in shame, she saw his grandfather and brother shift uncomfortably while Daniel placed a napkin on his nose. The rest looked around the room, with their noses scrunched in disgust.
Brandon's mother, Charlotte stood beside him, her head high, her eyes bright and light, blue like the sky, they would say, Diane had never met nor seen Charlotte, she had only heard about her, not even her grandfather had met her, Liam made it clear he never wanted Charlotte to enter the Hellfire castle or hell for that matter. Charlotte wore a blue silk gown, it dragged through the red carpet in the long hall, she looked small compared to Liam's tall and thin figure. Her brown hair was pulled into a high bun, tight and neat, perfect, as Liam had wanted her.
And finally, Brandon Christ marched in with a white tuxedo, his hair combed with an unholy amount of gel, his blonde hair shone in such a way that even his white halo looked monotone in comparison. His blue eyes looked around the dark castle, looking at portraits in disgust, he shot his pale face towards the room the Hellfire's were in, she looked right at Diane and then at Daniel, he scanned their outfits up and down, they saw him let out a small chuckle.
Beside them walked a couple of angels, Diane didn't care to name them in a week they'd be replaced with a new angel.
As the Christ's marched to the big round door the Hellfire's stood up, when the Christ's finally reached the door Diane spoke, "King Christ, nice to see you again." She bowed.
"Nice to see you too, Queen Hellfire" Brandon said bowing, as he stood back up he looked at Diane a glare, a smirk is all he got in return.
"Sit, sit" Silver spoke, Diane could tell her efforts in hiding her boring monotone voice, but it didn't work.
The Hellfire's sat back down in their dark obsidian chairs, and Diane placed her hands on her throne and slowly sat down, while she looked at Brandon with angry eyes.
Brandon in return gave her a small smile, and he stretched out his hand to his side, and a big white marble throne appeared, Daniel rolled his eyes, worst part about is Brandon's throne was so much more exaggerated, that was probably a chair he had in his room, his definition of 'casual.'
Besides the rest of the Christ's small chairs made of Celestine appeared, with the exception of Liam, instead he sat on a wooden stool. Liam was an odd angle, even if the Christ's refused to admit it, they loved the power they had, and they were liars too.
But Liam wasn't, Diane could honestly say Liam was the only Christ to deserve the throne in the Silver City.
"Tell me, Brandon, why was it urgent we'd meet?" Daniel asked adjusting the his obsidian and ruby crown, now sitting on his brown hair, as confused as she was on how suddenly the crown plopped on his head she ignored it and instead touched her own hair, only to find her crown adjusted on her head, she quickly realized Daniel and herself had forgotten to put on their crown, and of course Phoebe had noticed and she slipped it on without them noticing, Diane looked at Phoebe gratefully, and Phoebe raised the corner of her mouth making it look like a smile before it went back to a neutral expression.
"As I'm sure you all know, Nicole Green found the wall." Brandon's wife, Janna, responded ignoring Brandon, "Nicole touched the wall, and of course, the results weren't very pretty."
"Your point is what? Your majesty" Amber remarked in a nasty tone.
"Hmm, Brandon made his way here, and like always you demons treated him with no respect. That woman used her abilities to harm the halfdead!" Charlotte glanced at Amy, and Diane looked disgusted.
'Did you really do something so foolish, Azure?' Diane yelled in her mind, she stared wide-eyed at the blonde demon, Amy sighed then talked: "The halfdead opened her eyes, I was using my abilities for the sake of her rather alarming wound, I tried to cool it down but—" Amy pauses for a second and looked at Daniel and then at Diane, "I can summon water, not ice."
Diane and Daniel quickly turned her head to her, Amy nodded, Diane widened her orange eyes, she looked around the room, and locked eyes with Phoebe and Mason, they held a rather confused expression.
"What was a half-dead even doing in hell?" Jasmine and Cora said in unison.
"Silver had sent Brandon a letter, she was out in earth when Brandon came down to hell" Damien put his pale hands on his chin, and looked at Brandon.
"Maybe if he had seen the letter, he would have found that Silver left him not one, but two flasks of exactly what he came down for." Mason gave the Christ's a glare.
"I have got to agree with them on this, I did indeed send you a letter, from what I saw when I got here, I found an extremely hurt half-dead, an angry Diane, and a confused Brandon Christ. If I hadn't come back early that girl would have turned into ashes, and into the earth, she would go." Silver said simply, adjusting her blindfold. "And we all know we can't risk her going back." She turned her pale face towards everyone in the room.
Brandon's face immediately went down, not only his plan goes wrong, but he got embarrassed. Not only by the Hellfire's, which didn't matter to him, but also by Silver, a trusted demon in the Christ's family.
"That not important! What is, is that there an innocent half-dead being burned and possibly tortured in this disgusting and dark-- place..." Charlotte whined in a way that made her sound like a child.
"Oh, but I thought it was, you know, while you recapped the happenings of how foolish and rude we were in the situation." Chloe sneered at Charlotte, right now, Charlotte's first visit to hell was not going well.
"Queen Charlotte, if your intentions coming here were to tell me and my family off, for treating your baby boy with disrespect, you should know something of the sort would not work. So if those were really your intentions, I'd recommend you leave." Diane finally decided to speak up, quite annoyed at Charlotte's attempts to embarrass the Hellfire's.
"Charlotte, honey, like I've told you before, I knew you wouldn't like Hell, or it's residents--" Liam began trying to calm his angry wife, before being interrupted by her again.
"Why? Because I'm not patient? demanding? spoiled? Don't act like you don't know what I am talking about, I know what you say to your father and our own son about me!"
"He's not wrong" Mason muttered, making everyone in the Hellfire side of the table laugh, and even Brandon smiled a bit, while Charlotte looked red from rage, and Liam gives them a grin before he quickly snapped out of it and went back to an angry Charlotte. Diane let out a small chuckle before going back to expressionless.
"I believe it'd be better, if it's fine with you all, to keep all personal matters to yourself." Amy looked at both Mason and Charlotte, referring to Charlotte's little outburst and the comments Mason should keep to himself. Both sides of the table nodded.
"I'll get to the point, we need you to locate Nicole Green and bring her back to heaven where she belongs--" Liam spoke, and soon was interrupted by Diane Hellfire. "I'll get to my point. Nicole is in hell, where we all know she belongs, along with ther sister. Especially her sister, give us one reason we should give her back, just one?" Diane gave Brandon a bone-chilling smile, even if she was talking to Liam, she gave the Christs a long minute to answer, but none talked "-- Nothing? Nada? What's wrong? You came here to get her back, you should have somehting to defend yourself with. As far as we're concerned all the Greens deserve to be here, in our property, for the things they've done to embarrass my ancestors, Bartholomew Leroy and Jewel Nikolaidis"
"Those things were made to embarrass humanity! Of something 'impossible' to gain, immortality, all they did was return the favour--" Elanor, who had not spoken once, retorted.
"That is not the point, you just want to keep her in Heaven, cause she'll never have her memories back while being up there, you all know, they do not belong, they belong here! With her parents, They've both killed, they have both made people sufer, they both craved for revenge. That is unacceptable behaviour to later be welcomed to Heaven! They don't deserve it, they weren't good, they need to pay for what they've done like any other sinful human!" Diane looked at the Christ's with angry eyes, and as she talked her voice became, more and more of a demand, anger ran through her veins, which made her skin turn red and back to her original tan caramel skin, her eyes looked brighter, but not the wholesome kind of brighter, it looked redder then orange, her stress was still not enough to make her sclera black, or her eyes pure red or orange, but enough to make her eyes look like flames.
At the sight of the angry Diane, the Christ's went quiet, and so did the Hellfire's, everyone who with the pleasure of knowing her, knew that on the occasion Diane did get angry, it was better to leave that to one of her brothers.
"Diane." Her brother placed a hand on Diane's boiling shoulder in an attempt to calm her down, "It is fine." Daniel muttered, "Keep it together, at least for James, if they find out it was him we'll never hear the end of it." Daniel whispered, so only Diane could hear. She seemed to snap back to reality, as her eyes widened in sudden panic, she closed her eyes for a quick second and opened them again, making the anger in her eyes disappear as well as the red on her skin, she plastered a small smile on her face, the control of her anger and abilities coming back, the chandelier that had turned off, flicked back to light making the naturally dark room somewhat brighter.
"When you have a reason to why we should give you back Nicole Green, and save her from where she belongs, call us. Or maybe come barging back in with another hurt half-dead." Diane smiled at the Christ's, as she stood up from her chair, and starts to walk away as the rest of the Hellfire's joined her.
But, Diane couldn't help remembering Nicole, and when she met her. She didn't seem like a sinner, which angered her even more.
Cause that meant she was a liar.
