Logan's POV:
I am in the middle of reading my favourite story when I hear another knock at my bedroom door.
"Yes? Who is it?" I call over to them. "It's me, Patton. I want to talk to you Logan, please let me in," he pleads. I angrily sigh and open to door for him to enter.
"Here, it's to say sorry for before." He holds out a childishly decorated card. I accept it and let him in.
"I just wanted to apologise Logan," he starts. "It was unfair of me to talk to you like that. You deserve more respect than what I gave you and I apologise."
I look at him and begin to observe at the card he made. On the cover it had a picture of him reading Harry Potter to me both of us in our onesies. I open the card and start to read the contents:
Dear Logan,
I am deeply sorry about what I said before. I don't know what came over me but it was wrong to yell at you. I really liked your smart idea. You're always so smart and formal, but today I lost it and screamed at you having your opinion. That was wrong of me and I am sorry Logan. It's okay if you don't want to hang around me for a bit, I understand but I just want you to know that I care for you even though it didn't seem like it. You're a truly an amazing person Logan and I let you down.
I am truly sorry.
From your sad dad, Patton
I finish reading his little card and just smile. It is typical Patton, making me feel so nice and warm inside. He cares about us all very much. I look up at him and he is looking down at his feet.
"Patton." I say to grab his attention.
"Yes Logan?" He says still staring blankly at his feet.
"I forgive you."
"Really?! Oh my gosh, Thank you Logan. Thank you so much!" He yells as he pulls me into a tight hug. After a moment of hesitation, I wrap my arms around the happily sobbing side. He is so sensitive.
"Oh, I almost forgot your present." He lets me go and turns around to grab a big chapter book I recognise all too well.
"Patton, I know you meant well but I already have that book and read it multiple times," I sadly remind him. I've probably read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone more than 19 times.
"I know, I just thought that since I was mean to you I could read to you for the next few days" he says. "But if you don't want to-"
"I would be delighted if you would read to me Patton," I cut in.
"Really? Yay, so when do you want me to come read to you?" he curiously asks.
"Maybe at around 9:30 pm tonight if that overlaps in your schedule," I comment.
"Okay. Thank you for accepting my apology Logan. I really appreciate it," he announces as he is about to exit the room. I give him a nod of approval as he waves goodbye and leaves.
Being completely honest, I loved the last time Patton read to me and the others.
Flashback
"Hey guys let's all calm down and read a story," Patton suggests to us all. We were arguing over what we were doing in the next video. As usual Patton tries to calm us all down which this time it worked. Everyone loves it when Patton reads to us. Even Deceit and sometimes Remus. Soon enough every single side gathered in my room. Deceit, Remus, Remy and even Dr. Picani was there.
"What story do you want me to read?" Patton asks. Roman with no hesitation screamed "CINDERELLA!!!"
"Okay why not?" Patton goes over to one of the many bookshelves in my room and looks for the Cinderella picture book. His eyes light up when he finds the book, then carefully takes it out of the shelf.
"Okay guys, get comfy, I've got the book. Everyone ready for their bedtime story!" He calls for everyone's attention. Roman was sitting on a bean bag with Virgil, Remy was sitting on the bed cross legged with a Starbucks next to Emile, Deceit and Remus were leaning on the side of the bed and I was sitting next to Patton.
He starts to read the story filled with enthusiasm and excitement even though he has read the same story over and over again. I stare at Patton until he has finished the book.
"And they lived happily ever after. The End," Patton finished as he closed the book.
I take a look around to see that Virgil and Emile had fallen asleep. Remy and Roman carry the sleeping boys back to their rooms and soon go to their rooms to go to sleep. It was late for all of us.
I am helping Patton clean up the room and he starts up a conversation.
"No matter how many times I read the same story I still love seeing you guys so happy when I read to you. You all look so happy when I read to you. Maybe I will do it more often," he thought out loud.
"Personally, I really enjoy it when you read to me and the others because you put so much life into the story with your enthusiasm," I say to him while putting an empty Starbucks drink in the bin.
"I'm really happy you enjoy it Logan." Patton give me one of his warm and friendly smiles. I feel a rush of blood run up to my face. I look in the mirror to see I have turned a bright red. Seeing Patton care for me so much made my stomach feel weird and my face feel hot. I loved that feeling.
I looked up the symptoms before going to bed and it said I may have anxiety but that's not it. I went to Roman's room to ask the same question. I don't think he took it very seriously since he was half asleep but he said I was in love.
Could it be that I have feelings for Patton?
End of flashback
Ever since that day I have been curious about that question. Did I have feelings for Patton? The symptoms had not left since then and I always feel generally happy when I am around Patton. Maybe its true.
I think I love him
"Logan you ready?" I was so lost in thought that I didn't realise that Patton had changed into his cat onesie and was standing next to me calling my name for a bit.
"I am almost ready just need to get changed" I say. Patton left and I got changed into a different outfit. One suitable of reading.
"Okay Patton you can come back in now." I call out to him. He happily opens the door and then freezes when he looks at my outfit.
"OH MY GOSH LOGAN!!! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!"
