Now Or Never

Roman's POV:

"So Patton how did it go? What did Logan say?" I was throwing questions at Patton about him and Logan. He sadly looked at me and my heart dropped into my stomach. "Did he say no?" I asked. He just shook his head.

"So what, did he say yes or no?" I was starting to get angry.

"I didn't get the chance to tell him, Roman. He was so tired yesterday, all he wanted was to go to sleep so I let him," Pat explains.

"Well, let Logan get his beauty sleep and try again tonight." I suggest. His expression quickly changed from blunt and sad to super excited and happy.

"Yeah I will. Thank you Roman," he says and then disappears into his room.

Patton's POV:

Okay. This is it. I am going to confess my feelings to Logan. I have decided to confess after we finish reading, when I tuck him in before he goes to sleep so even if he says no I can just walk out of there.

Okay, here we go.

I knock on Logan's door to check if he is actually in there or in the bathroom.

"Yes Patton, you can come in now" he calls. I push open the door and greet Logan with my usual smile. He sits down on his bed and motions for me to sit next to him. I happily relax next to him and begin to finish off chapter 3.

Halfway through chapter 4 I take a peek at how Logan is. He has rested his head on my shoulder and looks at the book looking slightly bit disappointed for some reason.

"Hey Logan, you alright?" I curiously asked him. At first I thought he didn't hear me because he didn't flinch but then he looked up at me.

"You stopped reading," he complained. I kept reading until it was 10:00 pm.

"Okay Logan, time to go to bed. You remember your schedule, right?" I tease. He groans.

"Yes dad."

I just burst out laughing after that. I was rolling around on the floor and Logan was staring at me. I swear I could see the hint of a smile on his face. After I calmed down when Logan went to bed and I tucked him in. Yeah, I know, Logan is an adult but it is always so cute when I do. As I was tucking him in I grabbed a chair and sat down like the other night.

"Uh, Logan," I say as I attempt to get his attention.

"Yes Patton, is there something you would like to tell me?" he asked, yawning. I tensed up and had my anxiety level shot through the roof.

It's now or never.

"I LOVE YOU LOGAN!!" I scream.
