Unexpected Date
{Brinley's POV}
"Ugh" I groaned in boredom. It has been a month since I went out TT~TT. I want to go to my university! I want to go for shopping! Furthermore, I want to run around streets and have snacks without being scolded! Ugh, sad life. It feels like I am kidnapped in my home.
If I ask mom to go out with me, she starts making excuses that she has this and that work, she has to go out and stuff. If I ask dad, he's always busy reading files and documents in his study room, Derek is always nowhere to be seen, he might even be claimed missing if he doesn't show his face today or latest by tomorrow. Xavier and Adam are always busy…ugh, I can't even visit Anna and Ami!! TT~TT:

I started my laptop and casually scrolled through Instagram and Facebook, all my friends are enjoying their life, f·ck, why am I stuck here for!? I closed my laptop and slumped on bed, I pushed my face in my pillow in anger, that's when I heard someone knocking on my door.
Oh? Now someone remembers that I exist in this house!? I thought everyone believed I was Annabella the cursed doll, which can be ignored as long as I stayed silently in one corner of my room.
"Brinley? Can you open the door for me?" I heard Adam speak, I pouted and groaned.
"What do you want?" I asked without opening the door for him.
"Can you just open the door, I'll tell you then, what I am here for." Adam said.
"Hmph! I won't open! I am silently and obediently sitting in my room as you all wished, right! So go away." I huffed and folded my arms.
"Is that so? Okay then." Adam said, and I heard his steps going slightly away from my room. I gasped because I didn't expect him to give up this soon. I rushed towards the door and slammed it open, I ran towards him, making him pause. I stood in front of him and huffed and puffed, catching my breath.
"Why are you running? You could have told me to stop and called me out." Adam smiled as he looked at me. I stared in his eyes and said,
"I… I want to know, what happened?" I couldn't form a perfect question while facing him.
"Well I was going to ask you to come out with me, I got permission from your brother and today is my day off but…" I gasped, making him chuckle.
"But what? Won't you take me? Please? Please don't say no…" I tried to make myself look as cute as possible, staring straight in his eyes. Adam just chuckled and started going down the stairs without giving me any response, I got embarrassed and rushed behind him down the stairs to follow him.
In my hurry, I made a mistake.
I twisted my ankle while hurrying behind him down the stairs, I screamed as soon as I felt myself falling, but I didn't get any chance to kiss the ground because Adam caught me immediately and frowned.
"Are you a small child?" Adam said while picking me up from the floor. I was completely speechless, I held him firmly around his neck and stared at his face, his expression was filled with concern and anxiety. He placed me on the couch and kneeled in front of me. He removed my soft fluffy slippers I wear at home and examined my foot for any injury or sprain.
Not only that, but he also massaged my foot and asked, "Does it hurt somewhere?" I shook my head no and smiled at his kindness and care. He stared at me and I stared back at him, my smile faltered, making him avert his eyes from me. Adam cleared his throat and said, "Go get changed, we should leave early to come back early." I pouted and slowly stood up, trudging towards my room upstairs.
I decided to go for a white tank top and black skinny jeans, when I arrived downstairs I saw Adam leaning against the wall near the front door looking down on his phone. He's also wearing casual clothes today, black shirt which was tightly hugged with his biceps and blue jeans. I stared at his biceps for a second, suddenly he looked up and smiled, making me smile in response and I went towards him.
He escorted me towards the driveway where his Bugatti Divo was parked, I gasped and looked at him in confusion, he rarely brings this car out of the garage, of course it's his favorite car, why would he choose this car…by any chance is it his birthday…? But his birthday was in March… I stared at him in confusion, he stared back at me. Is this a staring contest?
"Uhm, what's the occasion?" I asked, pointing at his car. Adam widened his eyes for a second and cleared his throat.
"I want to celebrate this rarely given holiday by your evil working maniac brother." He said and smirked, making me giggle.
"Brother told me to let him know what I am going to do today in my outing, I'll let him know your message to him." I grinned mischievously and rushed to sit in the passenger seat before he starts scolding me.
Adam took his seat in the driver's seat and started the engine after sighing and giving me a small smile.
"So? Do you've somewhere on your mind, you want to visit?" I thought for a while and answered,
"I already have lots of stuff at home…so how about going somewhere fun instead of shopping!" I suggested with a wide smile. Adam silently looked at me for a second before returning his gaze on the road.
"That sounds fun. How about amusement park or arcade club, you choose." Adam said.
"Hmm…how about both?" I said, wiggling my eyebrows mischievously, making him chuckle.
"We have curfew timings too, given by your brother, so if you want to visit both, you'll have to be fast, alright?" Adam said reminding me about curfew time. I pouted and Adam laughed as he slightly pinched my cheek.
"You look cute when you pout, just like a 5-year-old girl with plump cheeks." Adam joked, making me gasp in surprise.
"Excuse me? Do I look like a small child to you?" Adam stayed silent and smirked.
"What's with that smile!? Do I really look like a small child!? Tell me the truth!" I huffed. Adam just chuckled and stared in my eyes for a few seconds before continuing to drive.
As soon as we reached the amusement park, I got out of the car and made a beeline towards the ticket counter, Adam also came in just a few minutes after parking.
"Let me pay for it." Adam said as he took out his wallet. But me being the stubborn self, I literally gave the money to the ticket counter staff on their face, snatching the tickets from their hands, rushing inside and not forgetting to hold drag Adam along with me.
"Why so 'hyper' excited?" Adam questioned or commented, to which I just gave him a cheeky wide smile.
I excitedly stood in line of my favorite ride "Ferris Wheel" but for some reason Adam shook his head and dragged me to the roller coaster ride. Anyway, I enjoyed many rides with Adam screaming and annoying him. I will tell Brother Xavi what he did to me in return... he took me to a haunted house at the amusement park, where I nearly pissed my pants and screamed my lungs out in fear.
"What? Why're you hitting me... my chest hurts, you know?" Adam said while laughing, making me even more annoyed.
"You know what? Enjoy your date with these ugly mannequins! HMPH!" I stomped my foot and folded my hands while walking out of that house. Adam came running behind me and held my elbow, stopping me. I looked at him and stared in his mesmerizing eyes.
"I'm sorry, now forgive me and let's go to your favorite Ferris Wheel, alright?" He said, and I nodded excitedly.
"Wow... look how big it is! Let's go Adam!!" I exclaimed. He chuckled and took me to the giant Ferris wheel. When we took our seats in our cabin, I noticed Adam was looking slightly uneasy... I held his hand and said, "Look, look Adam, the view from here is so pretty!" He chuckled at my comment and tightened his hold on my hand.
He was continuously staring at me, so I tilted my face in confusion and stared back at him.
"Do you know? You look even more pretty than this view, Brinley..." He said, and instantly my cheeks became red in embarrassment. He tucked my hair, which were falling on my face, behind my ear and stared at me even more. That's it! That was my limit... I can't stand this tension between us anymore, I hope I won't make it awkward for us after what I am going to say...
"To be honest... Adam, I have liked you since a long time. I don't know if you knew about this or not, but I'm being honest about my feelings, I swear!" I said and closed my eyes to take a deep breath, which I was holding unknowingly.
Seconds passed, minutes passed, but I head not even a single "Hm" from Adam. I opened my eyes and I saw Adam was looking at me in a way like he was conflicted.
"I... I, It's alright if you don't want to accept my feelings... I know you must have someone you like... I'm sorry." I said, but I heard Adam scoff in a low voice, and he looked away from me, making me feel even more embarrassed. Just then the ride got over, and I ran out from the cabin feeling upset with myself and embarrassed about how I didn't receive even a single yes or no.
Adam called me out from behind, but I didn't look back and ran anywhere my legs took me to. Tears started streaming down my cheeks unknowingly, but I just ran and ran... not even caring to wipe my tears.
I fell on my knees and finally noticed I was not in the amusement park anymore... I saw a hand being offered to me to stand up, I took it thinking it must be Adam but when I looked at the face of the owner of the hand I screamed in fear and backed off shaking away the hand offered to me.
"Hey 'Darling'..."
