Maddox’s Tribute

I haven't spoken to Maddox in two weeks. I have been avoiding him as much as possible. He will knock on my door or see me at the dinner table but I never made eye contact or spoke to him. 


Victoria, on the other hand, Kendra couldn't stand seeing her face and got into a fight with her. Victoria went to the pack house with four broken ribs, a fractured shoulder and a broken nose. She also has claw marks on her face that would scar her forever. Everyone bowed to me in respect, and loved talking to me. They didn't fear me or have any hatred toward me. 


I sat in my room admiring the forest line that sat at the end of the two yard line behind the pack house. I'm surprised nothing has happened yet since Demitri's death or soon to be Victoria's. Maddox didn't like to hear that she came at me when I told her to back off Maddox. Victoria attacked me not the other way around. Kendra only helped me beat her up. All I had was a sprained shoulder. 


As I sat at the window I heard a knock at the door, then my door opening. I looked over to see Maddox. He wasn't looking so good. His beard was longer and his hair was long as well. He did shower, and he had been in the same clothes since two days ago. He strolled into my room and laid on my bed. That's what be would do since I wouldn't talk to him. His wolf talked to Kendra but his wolf couldn't take it any longer without my scent or my presence. We have mated and Maddox was getting restless, yet he still hasn't said anything but my name or sorry. 


"Carson." He looked over at me with pain and worry in his eyes. 


"Maddox." It was the first time in two weeks I have said his name. I usually said Alpha when someone asked about him to me. His eyes filled with lust and hope, as Kendra howled with excitement. I couldn't take this much longer. I need him, my body craves him. I slowly stood up and walked over to him. He sat on the edge of my bed as I stood in front of him. 


"Please.....baby...I need you." His voice was low, barely a whisper, as he looked down. My lifted my one hand bring his chin up, I could feel the tingles shoot down my whole body savoring the feeling again. Maddox let out a low growl as his wolf showed his presence by making his eyes black. 


"I missed you, Maddox." I say as I smashed my lips to his. His body stood still in shock then quickly reacted to my body by wrapping his arms around me.
