ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE

After breakfast my parents decided to take us out of the house because they felt their son had grieved too much and it was affecting the atmosphere they had carefully curated.

And you wouldn't guess where they took a freshly turned twenty one year and twenty year old. Gold Reef City. Not that l was complaining but l was surprised because my mom has never been an adrenaline junky, and she always disliked that part of me that my father always nurtured because he too is the same

"Gold Reef" my brother screamed when he saw the park from the freeway already assured that that is where we were going.

"what are you, twelve?" l asked making fun of him when l too on the inside was doing somersaults. The excitement was driving me over the edge

"look who is talking, the overgrown baby who is incapable of finding her own boyfriend" he says and that ladies and gentlemen is my brother pre breakup. That is how we talk to each other
