Aurora has always been the 'unattractive, unattainable' girl throughout her whole life. No man has ever approached her with the intention of courting her, rather they approached her to learn more about her best friend. She was better known as a 'DUFF'. But now with her best friend dead and a baby depending on her, she finds herself trapped in a loveless marriage that will test and strengthen her character. Like most 21st century women, she views herself as a feminist. One who doesn't believe in love. She views love as a Capitalist movement created to control unsuspecting minds while breaking their bank accounts. But she finds herself falling in love with a man. Not just any man, her friends boyfriend who also happens to be her husband.

Deep In The Mud

<p>It has been a week since the last time l saw Darke and l have finally come to terms with the situation at hand. I am finally ready to put an end to this distance that we have both successfully put between us. Bless has been a blessing, as cliche as that sounds. She has helped me come to terms with the situation and as they always say, acceptance is the first step to overcoming</p>

<p>The lunch we had with Matthew was very nice and l found out a lot about him. We even exchanged numbers and have been frequently texting each other. But on most occasions l find that he asks a lot about Bless. And it is not one sided, she too talks about a lot more than she realises  </p>
