Aurora has always been the 'unattractive, unattainable' girl throughout her whole life. No man has ever approached her with the intention of courting her, rather they approached her to learn more about her best friend. She was better known as a 'DUFF'. But now with her best friend dead and a baby depending on her, she finds herself trapped in a loveless marriage that will test and strengthen her character. Like most 21st century women, she views herself as a feminist. One who doesn't believe in love. She views love as a Capitalist movement created to control unsuspecting minds while breaking their bank accounts. But she finds herself falling in love with a man. Not just any man, her friends boyfriend who also happens to be her husband.

Deep In The Mud

"do you want to call her?" Darke asks but l shake my head. What good will calling her do, she might even think that l am responsible for leaking all the information because only a handful of people knew what was going going on and l am the only one she doesn't trust currently

"don't be a scared, if she attacks you then l will be there to protect you" he says making Darke roll his eyes

"dude, this is serious. it is not an opportunity for you to try and win points. can you not be serious for once?" Darke says and had l known the dynamic of their relationship, l would have sworn that he was being horrible to his friend but l have learnt that is how they talk to each other and as an outsider looking in, l will not involve myself
