Chapter Two Hundred Fifty

Isaac's POV

Thankfully enough, the feast continued without further problems and everyone was satisfied with the king's final conclusion of what he'd decided to do… with negligible resistance from his officers of course. There was one, particularly that spoke scornfully to the rest of us, his name slipping my mind almost immediately. I'd grown resistant to negative commentary in the three weeks I'd spent moving around Armensia.

The people of Armensia all had different views on what the artras were doing in their world. Not all of them were positive, but there wasn't much anyone could do about that anyway. Kevin's words were starting to make more sense every time I witnessed the discrimination they bore for us as outsiders. We might have been invited by a guardian deity, but that was just it.
