Chapter 8: The Project

I woke up on my bed the next morning and someone walked inside my room. "Morning dear, get ready for school" my mom said.

"Yes I saw her, in my room"I said remembering yesterday. "Saw who?" my mom asked. "The girl that added letter every where in my room" I said.

"Dear, are you okay? Cause yesterday you were acting crazy so your brother had to hit your head with his baseball bat" mom explained. "Shit it time for school" I said jumping out from the bed.

I had my bath and went to have breakfast, Brian had gone already we don't attend the same school. "Bye mom" I said waving at her.

I reached school almost late and went straight to my classroom to avoid people asking me questions like why I didn't come to school yesterday and what happened to my leg. It was science class, our teacher, Mr. Charles. He was always strict to people and loved telling us story about his dog.

"you guys should find any object around your environment and turn it into something useful, that is your test" Mr Charles explained. The bell rang as we all got up and closed our notes.

"Remember to do it in group so find a partner today and bring it tomorrow" he completed. A familiar face walked towards Mr. Charles and was talking to him. Yes it was Brian. "Brian?" I asked patting his back "yeah" he said turning to me. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Do you want to read your letter or not" he replied showing me the letter. "so the guy you were talking about is Mr. Charles" I said.

"Yeah" he said giving the letter to Mr. Charles. "Have seen this before" Mr. Charles said. He gave us a follow me finger and we went to his office.

"Guys I think I can read this" Mr. Charles said putting on his glasses and touching his chin, then suddenly the expression on his face changed and he asked. "How did you get the letter" he asked moving the letter on his hand and pointing it at us.

"I saw it in my room, is it bad? "I asked." It says THE LIVING NEED TO BE SAVED, BUT THE DEAD NEED A PLACE" Mr. Charles said.

"Is that it? How can long words be spoken so short" my brother said.

"It is obvious that it isn't written in English but in the language of the Dead it also means a sign, let me hold on to this for you, you can go and prepare for the test.

Me and Brian went home, when I entered I saw my best friend, Sarah she was sitting on the couch waiting for us.

"Hi" she said waving at me as Brian rushed to his room. "Hey" I replied. "I have an idea of what we can do for the test" Sarah said moving her blond hair. "Really?" I said smiling.

She whispered it to my ear as I nodded at everything she said. We later had lunch and went to make our experiment, it looked good but I didn't know where to keep it because of my brothers.

"Don't worry I can keep it"I said even though I ment the opposite. She nodded and left as I waved her good bye. I went to sleep so I could wake up early the next morning.

"What? " I said walking out from my room and badging inside my brother's room angrily." Erin it 8 in the morning" Kyle said wiping is face as he tries to get up from the bed. "Where is Brian?" I asked looking around the room.

"Didn't they teach you how to knock" Brian said coming out from the bathroom in their room, a towel was on his neck and and he seemed wet.

"I know you took it Brian" I said ignoring what he said. "I don't know what you are talking about" Brian said. "Yeah Brian as being here all day, I mean yesterday"

I left their room immediately and started the search for my project I didn't want to fail the test.

"Mom, did you come to my room? " I asked walking down the stairs."Yes, your father won't allow me to do a night video in our room" Mom said.

"Okay, but did you see my project" I asked. "Nope I didn't see any project" My mom said. Does that mean someone stole my project, but who and why. I thought.

"Can I see the video? "I asked my mom."yeah sure" mom replied handing the phone over to my hand. I saw someone in the video at the beginning, the person wore a black hat, the person was holding my project. "I got it" I said jumping, and I showed my mom but she said she didn't see any body.
