Zavier POV
I placed my stuff in the back of my car before getting into the driver's seat. Nylarizza was in bed, eating her cereal. I couldn't find the courage to tell her that I was leaving for a month face to face, so I left a message on the freezer and a bunch of ice cream. Now she has at least twenty pints of ice cream. I got into the driver's seat and took a deep breath before stepping on the gas, zooming off into the forest.
My parents, and now that girl, live inside of the pack grounds, but on the outer rim where mountains lie behind it. They live in the largest house I have ever set foot into-much ton big for even seventy people. I would never get a house so big. The size isn't the thing that bothers me the most-it's the horrible color of the living room. Okay, I have to say, I like the color green, but their living room is like an orange and green puke.
It's sickening just to stand outside that room.
