10***Explosive Achievement

"NYLON!!!!!" Oh no, that stupid bafoon!!!! I was perfectly fine until a while ago, why did you save me!!!

I felt a huge rush of grief at the realization that he wasn't going to come back from that, mixed in with a spike of anger at my incompetence. Why must I be so.....useless!

"Hey! You damned beast! You'll pay for that!!!" At that, I pulled out six of my knives and threw them in the air so that they seemed to be suspended around me.

"AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHH!!!!" The X-gremlin attacked the players behind me and the defense line, the defenders powerless to stop it! It's a shame that they're all horrible at this.

Time slowed down for me. I saw the trunk of a limb the gremlin had swing to make contact. I saw the frozen terrified look on all of the players that have seen their end. I saw the gremlin hoard storming through, running around defenders and giving them hell. I saw my six blades hovering in the sky as if held by invisible strings. And I saw, looming over me, the X-gremlin's underside, my target.

*REVOLVER SHOT!!!*

I grabbed all of my daggers out of mid air and threw them after him, one at a time, each throw containing all the power I could muster in one hand.

It is a move that fires six consecutive shots that has a 5% chance of firing a piercing shot. In order to accomplish such a move I need to synchronize cat-like reflexes and speed, along with a calm state of mind, thus causing time to seem to slow down, when in fact I'm just moving faster. This ultimately makes this move my ace, obtained through a whole hour of tireless training in the Grasslands.

And it worked! All of the daggers went through the gaps in its full body Root Armor, successfully landing into its gut, two of them having the piercing effect, making them dig deep into the over-sized gremlin.

The shock of the attack made it let out a sort of shriek, something like a surprised shriek mixed with a roar of rage and ailing, and it backed up a few steps, immediately withdrawing its arm! Players' lives were spared with that attack.

The X-gremlin roared up above and I look up, just to meet his eyes! He made to grab after me, fast! Under normal circumstances I could dodge that attack no problem, but my ace has a taxing circumstance, in exchange for five seconds of that state, it gives me an effect similar to paralysis!

Damn, this seems to be the end of me. Nylon.......sorry.

*grab* "If you think I'm gonna let you die here, think again!" A familiar voice stated with determination.

Oh right, my perk! It stopped me from getting one hit K.O.ed back there. Hopefully, Angus is somewhere safe so we can get out of here. But before I move, let me check my inventory first:

Damn! It looks like my shields really did break! And how did I get these in my inventory! Oh well, nothing I can do about that now. What I need to do is get Angus and skeda....Eh?!!

'Angus what are you doing!!!' At that point I saw her run up to the X-gremlin! Is she suicidal! I have to help her! But how? I don't have any weapons on m....

Wait. These materials can be used to make bombs! How did I know that? Must be my Improvisation Mastery. Anyway I can craft one in a short while, just wait for me Angus!

The gremlin backs up a bit the moment I finish making it. Oh crap, I don't have much time!

"Ugh!!!" Something, or someone, stirred beside me! It's the fireworks guy, which means that this is his stall!

"What happened?!" Crap I'm in trouble!

"Sorry for the damage done sir." I apologize, "I will compensate for it at a later time. Before I go though, can you please light this for me."

The gremlin made to grab her. It's not moving that fast so she should be able to.... Why is she not moving!!!

I felt my feet move before I realized it! What am I doing!!! In any case, it doesn't matter. I'm coming Angus!

It's arm is mere feet from her! Why won't she move!!!

In an act of desperation, I dived at here, pushing her out of the hand's way seconds before its fingers encircled her!

"Have a taste of this!" I yelled, doing a full 180 in mid-air reaching for my makeshift bomb to through at its face, or at least that was the plan until my fingers grasped thin air instead of the bomb!

"Eh!" where is it! Did I drop it somewhere when I dived?

An explosion went off behind me as I was thinking that, followed by an ear-splitting shriek from the X-gremlin. Who did that attack?

Wait, that was me?! The bomb must have taken my place when I saved Angus. Neat!!! Anyway, an Explosion Mastery huh? Alright then, let's try it out!

I concentrated on activating my mastery and I felt a small amount of my essence gathered into the palm of my hand, resulting in a *pop* occurring in my palm! Although my initial plan failed, the same result occurred.

"Angus, lets get out of here!" I shouted over the din of players and gremlins clashing and the deadly wiz of hundreds of projectiles soaring overhead. She nodded in response and we started running, a player charging right past us as we did!

"I'm gonna kill that bastard!!!" the player yelled. Wait, that sounds like...

"Macabee sir, what are you doing!!!" Robert called out to the player. So it is Macabee. Is he nuts!!! We've been hacking at that thing for quite a while now and its hp is yet to have fallen past the half point! Going in alone is suicide!!!

Macabee ignored his subordinate and drew out his weapon, a sort of mace only with a longer shaft. The gremlin threw another one of its devastating punches, with the fist that I bombed, at the bulky man as he prepares himself for to launch an attack.! Crap, if he gets hit by that he'll....

*MACE UPPERCUT!!!* he managed to intersect the X-gremlin's punch with the spiky ball by bringing it around in a powerful arc and connecting it into the attack from below, completely destroying the roots and bark covering its fist while he was at it!

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! YOU'LL PAY HUMAN!!!" Wait, did that thing just talk!

While Macabee was surprised at the occurrence, the X-gremlin landed a literally ground-breaking punch on him sending him on his knees!

"Seems that your actually strong." Hold on, he lived! just how strong is he!

The gremlin wasn't done yet though. Immediately after that attack, another punch came at him! At this point even he realizes the obvious, he's gonna die if that hits him! I have to do something!

"Wait, Nylon! What are doing! Hold on!!!" Angus tries to call me back as I, for the second time in five minutes, ran off without even realizing. What's going on with me today!

I did a long jump from some meters away, adding some essence into my legs for extra boost, as I wasn't going to make it in time at the pace I was traveling. I cleared the the distance in less than a second, much to my surprise, my hands behind me and feet forward, like a professional! (not that I am one, so I wouldn't know)

This action seemed to grab the boss' attention, as he turned his head up and slowed his fist down to change its trajectory, but it was already to late for him! And why?

Because I am going to do something crazy!

I activated my Body Reinforcement and Explosion Masteries in my arms and put all of my might into this next attack.

*DUAL EXPLOSIVE PALM THRUST!!!*

My palms landed squarely into both of its eyes and explosions went off in its sockets!

A few seconds after that attack, my hp. went to zero!
