Chapter 5 - Come, or We Break Up

Bian saw an incoming notification on his smartphone.

"Pick me up."

Bian ignored the message from Ristie and focused on the messages from the others. He did not want Ristie's message to make him immediately run to the girl and forget his promise to meet Mr. Robert tonight.

He had long been eyeing cooperation with Mr. Robert's company. They also had held lengthy negotiations to make this happen. Bian didn't want it all to waste just because he was more concerned with his ego.

Bian rushed to the front of his house when Arya told him that Randy had come. Bian sat in the passenger seat, and Randy immediately drove his car to the most luxurious hotel in town.

Mr. Robert's assistant greeted them in the lobby and immediately escorted them to see his boss.

Mr. Robert greeted them kindly and invited them to sit down. Mr. Robert's Assistant immediately made drinks and served them. After pleasantries for a while, Bian took out a document and handed it to Mr. Robert to study.

Mr. Robert still looked handsome is in his forties. He came from a very wealthy family, had many businesses, was always number one compared to his competitors, and made hundreds of millions of dollars of profits every year.

On the campus, Mumut left her professor's room and headed for the bus stop in front of her campus. She met Andika at the bus stop. He was a friend of the same department as her. He was an employee at an automotive company.

Mumut had been fond of Andika for a long time, and it seemed that Andika also had the same feelings, but neither of them dared to be open about it. Mumut liked that guy because Andika was a religious person. He was a polite person and respected women.

When shaking hands with women, he never touched their hands but clasped his hands together and placed them in front of his chest. The most fun thing on campus was that when Andika became the prayer leader, Mumut felt happy and peaceful.

"Have you finished the consul, the revision?" Andika asked gently

"Yes. How many chapters have you got?"

"We were in chapter two, but my professor was not there. Mrs. Dani had an urgent thing to do."

"Okay, cheer up, Dika!"

"You too, Mut,"

"Thank you. Bye now, my bus is here," actually Mumut was reluctant to leave that place. She still wanted to chat with the man she liked, but it was getting late, and Mumut didn't want her mother to wait too long.

Mumut got on the bus and sat on one of the empty seats. She felt warm. She hoped that her dream with Andika could come true. She looked at Andika, who was still standing at the bus stop until the bus was running and the bus stop was out of her vision reach.

Bian just finished meeting with Mr. Robert. Bian and Randy walked to his car. Talking with Mr. Robert was so nice that he didn't realize how time had passed quickly. Bian learned a lot from the man's experiences. He checked his smartphone to see some of the calls he ignored while he was with Mr. Robert because he set the ring mode to silent.

Bian found several calls from Ristie, most recently was an hour ago. Bian immediately checked the message from Ristie.

(Honey, I'm waiting for you at home. Pick me up, okay?)

(Honey)

(Amri escorted me. I'll pick you up later) Amri was Ristie's family's driver.

(I'm already at the Mall. I'm waiting for you)

(Honey, you come here, please)

(You're so annoying, Honey)

(Come now or we break up!)

That were some of the messages Ristie sent her? Bian leaned his head. His face was sad.

"Let's go to the Zettira's launch, Randy,"

Randy smiled. He understood Bian's love for Ristie. That girl was his first love when they were still in high school. Their love was blossoming a few years ago when they both studied at the same university.

Bian loved her very much and spoiled her to no ends. Randy didn't like Ristie. Randy thought the girl was too dominating, and she was making the CEO look like a fool in front of his employees.
