When Mumut returned to the pantry, some people already crowded the room and bombarded her with questions about her mother's condition. They also handed over some envelopes containing donations collected from several employees. Mumut cried in tears at the attention of her friends. Most of them told her to be patient with the tragedy that had befallen to her mother.


When those people started to leave the pantry and left only Hari, Harti, and herself, the cell phone in her pocket rang. Mumut looked at her phone screen then picked it up.


"Yes, ma'am? I'm sorry I haven't been there yet. I'll go there after my work is done. Thank God, there are donations from the employees here, I don't know the amount, but hopefully, it's enough to settle the down payment."


"It's okay, Mut. Someone has paid the down payment earlier, and thank God your mother is undergoing surgery now. I'm going to go home. The nurse you hired to take care of all your mother's needs has arrived, so I'm going to take my rest at home," said Wati, on the other end of the phone. "Tomorrow I'll come to the hospital again to check on your mother's condition."

Mumut felt very grateful that her mother had finally received proper treatment. Her tears came back. Hearing whatWati had said on the phone earlier, Mumut felt relieved and happy as all of that felt like a miracle. As she wiped her tears using the edge of her headscarf, Mumut thanked Bian repeatedly in her heart. It didn't take long for Bian to do what he had said earlier. Tears filled her eyes again, and she felt so nervous. But at least her mom's condition wasunder control for now.


After cleaning the directors' offices, Mumut took a short break in the pantry. She flipped through her cell phone and saw several private messages to her, most of them expressing their concerns and wishing her mother a speedy recovery. Mumut replied to the messages one by one. Suddenly she remembered that Bian had saved his number here. Mumut immediately switched to her contacts and found Bian's name there.


For a moment, she hesitated before she finally texted (Thank you).

Mumut replied with a thank you and an emoticon.


She then got ready to go to the hospital to check on her mother.


After a bath, Mumut prepared to go to Cempaka Hospital. She was still wearing her uniform this morning. She didn't prepare a change of clothes. Mumut walked out of the office and headed for the bus stop in front of the company. Before she reached the bus stop, a black range rover approached him. Mumut immediately remembered that she purposely didn't inform Bian when she was about to leave the pantry. The car stopped right in front of her and the rear door opened.


"Get in!" A very cold voice cold came from inside the car.


Mumut wanted to refuse, but she had no choice. She immediately got into the car and sat next to Bian before the people in the company saw them. Arya immediately drove the car at high speed, leaving the office yard, which was getting quiet. The two passengers behind him were both silent during the trip, until they finally arrived at Cempaka Hospital.
