Secret admirer

Leo's jaw dropped when Ian said he might have kissed his girlfriend that night.

The possibility of Ian kissing her was out of question. she is always stuck to Leo without giving him space to breath. She was with him entire time and left early so kissing her was next to impossible.

Ian looked at Leo nervously, thinking he shouldn't have said that out loud.

Leo however didn't try to talk him out of it, as if he trusts her with his life. Leo finished his food and asked Ian to hurry because the weather outside was cloudy and it was definitely going to rain.

Ian and Leo left the restaurant and started walking towards home. After walking for a while Ian noticed Leo was calm and seemed relaxed. Ian was curious about that night at ice cream parlour and wanted to ask Leo about it. He kept looking to and fro towards Leo and the road.

Leo turned towards Ian and said "what is it that you want to ask?"

Ian wasn't surprised, if anyone knew Ian after his mom and yanli then it was his best friend Leo. He stood at his place making Leo turn around, he looked at Leos beautiful face which was glowing below the street light.

"How are things between you and Zoey these days?"Ian enquired

Leo was shocked for a moment then he replied, "what do you mean Ian?"

"Paul & I saw you with Zoey at the ice cream parlour few days back, we were about to approach you but Zoey was crying and we decided not to disturb you both."

Leo stared at Ian for a moment then started walking without any reply and Ian followed him. It was understood that Leo doesn't want to talk about it and Ian wasn't poking his nose where it doesn't belong.

After a while they reached home and bid farewell.

Ian's mom was disappointed when he said he had dinner with Leo and wants to get some sleep. He opened his bedroom door and walked inside. He was still thinking about Zoey and Leo. As best friends Ian knew Leo never kept secrets from him neither has he being this busy or occupied in his life not to spend time with him. Leo surely had issues which he was apprehensive to discuss with Ian at this point of time.

Ian changed into his nightdress after shower and jumped in his bed. He picked his cell phone to check for messages and calls. He had few messages from Paul and few missed calls from Yanli as she tried to reach him because he was late from school for dinner.

Different thoughts were running through Ian's mind, can it be that Ian and Zoey really kissed each other and Leo somehow caught her with him. Witnessing your girlfriend and best friend kissing, then facing them every day would be difficult. Is that the reason why Leo is avoiding Ian past few days? Leo might have confronted Zoey on same which made her burst out in tears even while eating her favourite ice cream. Ian started to panic and tried to stop all his flimsy thoughts.

"No, it cant be true. NO" . he said covering his face with pillow and forced himself to sleep.

In the neighboring house Leo looked out the window towards Ian's bedroom which had lights turned off a minute ago.

"How do I tell you Ian?? Leo murmured to himself and close his eyes to get some sleep.

Few days past and things were back to normal, Leo was no more avoiding Ian and was busy studying for approaching exams. However, Zoey was not around these days and on asking Leo said she is working hard for her exams.

Ian was still stuck on his soul kisser; he wouldn't stop bothering Paul and Leo about it.

"Ian I'm sure you are terrible kisser or have bad breath," Paul said making fun of Ian

"I think so too buddy, or else It wouldn't be that difficult to find her. Lets enroll ourselves in DICKS WITH NO CHICKS group"

"Shameless!" Leo hissed at them giving disgusted look. As they laughed at themselves.

Leo noticed someones eyes followed Ian everywhere he went these days, School Library, Corridor, even on there way home. Leo couldn't confront the person or Ian before being sure himself, so he decided to wait for the perfect opportunity. Even at the moment when they were busy eating that person had his eyes on Ian like a hawk waiting to catch its prey.

Ian was oblivious and busy stuffing his mouth with rice noodles, he gave Leo awkward smile and continued enjoying his meal.

How can someone give Ian such intense stare when he is looking nothing less than a pig hogging on the food, Leo thought to himself.

Paul followed Leos gaze, he kept looking at someone towards the pillar sitting on a bench with group of friends. Paul tried his best to take a good look at who it was.
