When the bell rang my mind was fidgeting if I should talk to him or not, we didn't have a great start but maybe we could work together for this to finish early and for our grades. In the end, I just shrugged it off and immediately went to talk to him about our upcoming project.

'He saw me walking to him and I immediately said my purpose with calmness even though it was nerve-wracking on the inside because of his intense stare at me.'

Hey! what do you think we should do for this project." I asked him.

He looked at me from head to toe before answering "Whatever you want I'm open to any suggestion as long as it doesn't take time for my other subjects." he replied.

'His tone was cold and his eyes look serious when he talked to me but I can't help but look at his eyes while answering.'

"Okay, when will you be free for us to plan on what we should do for this project," I asked him again.

"We could meet at the downtown cafe near the S hotel after class," he replied.

"Oh okay." I nodded to him.

"Then goodbye." He nodded to me as well then he went straight to the door but before he could walk away I told him my name.

"By the way my name is Alicia"

'I thought he's gonna leave but he looked at me intently before saying his name.'

"Craig" he answered before he went away.

'So his name is Craig, huh, It suits him. But I wonder if he knows anything about love judging how he reacted so arrogantly about the music I hum.'

'Base on his looks he looks like he has countless experiences in dating but from his personality, I feel like he has broken the hearts of too many women.'

'Well, whatever; What's important is for me is to finish this project and maybe, just maybe he could be my friend as well.'

'I went outside while walking in the hallway to go straight to my next class because each subject has different classrooms and I don't want to be late again. I saw Leila walking to me and she asked me a question.'

"Hey, girl I heard you were late earlier to your class, What happened?"

'How did she know that I was late? Oh! I completely forgot word travels fast around here in this school.'

"I was running and I bumped to a guy and we clashed! resulting in us both getting late and our professor told us that whoever is our seatmate will be our partner. Guess what? He's going to be my partner which puts me at a bit of a disadvantage because we didn't start the right way and not only that his attitude sucks!"

"Oh who is this particular someone," she asked me.

'I saw her looking at me with a curious gaze and amusement was evident on her tone before I answered her.'

"Some guy I met in the elevator the other day and I didn't even know that he study here that's why I was a bit shocked when I bump into him. I think he's a transferee, Uhm, his name was uh, Craig."

Her eyes went wide when she heard about the name of the guy I bumped into earlier.

"Craig Smith! You saw him at the elevator and you bump into him now!

'I was shocked that she knows him but I still answered her. "Uhm yeah, Wait you know him? Is he famous or someone that I should know?"

She eyed me because she finds me ridiculous for asking that question but I really don't have any idea about who he is except for his name.'

"Who wouldn't know him, that guy is a legend in his old school for always gaining the highest score on exams and grades. That guy's IQ is freaking high! I don't know the reason why he transferred, but others think he wants to experience a new environment."

"Basically a lot of girls drool over him because not only he has the intelligence but he also has the looks, the height, and the body. I mean that abs and that arms, gosh! Do you think he goes to the gym? He looks like a freaking model and he's just the same age as the other guys who study here. Can you believe that?"

'So that guy is freaking famous in his old school and also in here. I wonder if he has a girlfriend right now because base on Leila's information it looks like he has one, but if we are going to base it on his personality, I don't think so.'

'Then suddenly I chuckled because I remembered how Leila's describe Craig's traits. I was not laughing because girls drool over his looks or about his IQ but I was laughing because of how she describes his body. Her eyes had this glow while her mouth was almost salivating, it looks like she's imagining his body without clothes.'

'I for one was thinking about it for a second before it vanished because I felt my cheeks heating up because of that image I saw in my mind. Gosh, Alicia! when did you have such perverted thoughts about him when you just met him yesterday.'

"So, girls dig him huh. He's in a relationship right now right?"

'I was expecting for her to say yes because the answer to that is already obvious and I need someone who has experience but her answer was a shock for me.

"On the contrary, he has broken the hearts of countless women who have declared their love for him and he doesn't like to date, so basically that guy knows nothing about love, nor open to the idea of falling in love so basically his stone-cold to the core."

'I was shocked because of what she answered and not only that, she also told me few things about Craig.'

"Why does your face look like it's a big problem that he doesn't do romance?" Leila shot me these questions and I immediately answered.

"Because I told you already that we're going to be partners for a special project."

"So what if your partners?'

Leila answered me with sarcasm because it looks like I was stupid to even question about me being partners with Craig.

"Because the theme of our project is about love. Now, tell me how can I not worry when my partner is not only inexperienced but is also a hater of love."

"Oh, then I can only wish you good luck." She said while laughing.

'I almost smack her because she was laughing at my misery for being partners with the guy who is not fond of romance. I thought I would be at ease with this whole partner thing but it seems like I will have more problems to handle.'

'Seriously! That man is impossible. Here, I thought he's a playboy or in a relationship with someone, but I never peg him as a hater of love and romance. Is that why he's mad at me for humming that tune?'

"So he's not a playboy but a heartbreaker. Great! I thought I would be at ease because he will be my partner. Base on his looks and popularity amongst the women in school I thought he is in a relationship, on the contrary, he's like me; we both don't have the experienced of what love is and how it feels."

"Uh, well I have to go to my next class, I'll just see you later," I said to Leila before we bid each other goodbye.

"Bye!"

'When we finished our conversation I immediately went straight to my next class and sat in the back row while pondering a lot of things.'

'How are we going to make this work and finished it in the span of 5 months if he doesn't do romance nor believe in love?'

'Suddenly, I remember that we're going to see each other in the cafe later to discuss our plans for the project.'

'I have no experience as well when it comes to dating or about love; Heck I don't even have any idea about it. Our only difference is that I'm open to the possibility of dating and to the idea of falling in love but he's not. How are we supposed to work together if both of us are inexperienced?'

'Oh, Lord! guide the both of us so we could finish this at ease.'
