"Meanwhile Abby and Naren"
"You always say the same thing Abby, why'd you hurt me like that?" says Naren.
Naren and Abby are having a conversation about a very serious issue...(tee...hee) Naren's disappointed that Abby never comes to his restaurant without Eddy. Now that Eddy's in his nanny's house. Naren has been calling him to his restaurant but Abby is not ready to go. The usual routine is that Eddy checks his mails, corrects his student's papers or recites his poetries there and Naren usually works and Abby might be analysing his data. This is how their usual weekends are!
"You only like Eddy, not me! "
"Ok...ok fine, I'll come" says Abby and throws a jacket on him and stomps away to the door.
"It always works" says Naren and catches the jacket in style.
(Abby's POV)
I've always wanted a desk job, it might seem as the most boring job. But... it pays well, with six other siblings and retired parents, this is the only way I could feed them. My family originally comes from Lebanon, but I stay here for work. Naren comes from India, he might come off as the most happiest person in the world but he has his own battles to face. He came here when he was nineteen with his younger sister. During a bomb blast, Naren lost all his family members. He only had his sister, he worked really hard to educate his sister and stopped himself from schooling. He just wanted a better life for them and once he turned eighteen, all his parents assets were transferred to him. He brought his sister here for her higher education. Naren has always worked in small restaurants and it was his dream to open his own restuarant and I'm proud that he did. But after six months his sister transferred all the money and assets to her account and eloped with another guy. It broke him, he didn't care any less about the money... it shattered him that all his love for his younger sister literally meant nothing to her! Edwin comes from England, his parents got divorced ever since that he lived with his nanny. Though he had a caring grandmother, their absence has left the biggest scar in his heart.
Eddy was twenty-one when he came here, I was twenty-three and Naren was twenty-five. We all found a job. Eddy became an assistant professor, I got a job in mondaze plaza and Naren had just opened his restaurant. Call it coincidence or destiny, we liked the same house but no one of us could the rent. We spoke and came to an agreement that we'll equally pay the rent. And here we are after two years. I love them both unconditionally and I know they love me.
