Confession

This is my confession

Telling lies is my profession

You see, I'm just good at acting

It's a casting

Our love would be everlasting

Shocking,

You believed when I was only pretending

It's outstanding,

How much experience you're lacking

You're too accepting

Respecting

You need to be commanding

Demanding

I'll be packing

This relationship is ending

No more pretending

We'll never have a wedding

Or happiness or love or anything

This is my confession

I have developed an obsession

An undeniable aggression

Believing every lie, every 'lesson'

That led me to depression

I have a confession

My kindness may get me to heaven

But it won't make it through life

Because the true confession is

The world doesn't have compassion

For innocent naive lives
