Void (Part 3)

Chris was the one who made the first move, the sand behind him kicking up into a giant cloud as he leaped forward. Jason spun to his left, dodging the attack. Then a right uppercut to Chris's stomach sent him flying up into the sky. Chris held his stomach as he was launched up into the sky. Jason was just smiling as he watched Chris. "Dumbass leading with a left hook. Has he truly learned nothing about-" Octopus tentacles wrapped around him. Jason turned his head, seeing Tamaki and Kirishima. The redhead smirked. "Good luck getting out of this one, bro!" Jason glared. "The clone is your 'bro' now." Using his quirk, Jason muscled out of the tentacles and grabbed them. Then he swung Tamaki around and slammed him into Kirishima. A glistening caught his eye, forcing him to jump back. He jumped to avoid a net, fired from a net launcher. Jason flicked his finger in the general direction of the source. The resulting shockwave blew Momo out of her cover. Jason landed with a smirk. "I completely forgot how inadequate your ambush skills were. Maybe I should-" Chris tackled Jason from behind. As they were rolling, Jason kicked Chris off of him. "That's it! Come Here!"

The two engaged in a ferocious melee. The sand picked up with every punch and kick. The two eventually had to break off the battle for a moment due to lack of visibility. Jason looked to his left and saw Kirishima running up. Jason powered up a punch using his pride, but then Kirishima activated his 'Unbreakable' form, easily tanking the punch. Jason's eyes narrowed as he stepped back. Kirishima threw a few punches, which Jason dodged. "You're not the best at speed, dude." Jason dropped onto his hands and leg sweeped Kirishima. The redhead fell onto the sand. Jason slammed his foot down on Kirishima's chest. Krisihima grunted in pain. Then Chris sprinted forward. Jason turned and fired off a shockwave right into his gut, stopping the student in his tracks. Jason fired several more, each one knocking Chris back even further. Tamaki had gotten up and formed more tentacles to try and wrap up Jason again. Jason used his other hand and, without looking, fired a shockwave right at Tamaki's head. The sidekick didn't get back up. Chris shouted. "No!" Jason rolled his eyes. "Honestly, you guys are fairly annoying." Jason started turning towards Tamaki again, but then looked at Chris. One for All was coursing through him again. Chris, despite being as angry as he was, managed to smile. "Hey Jason. Have you ever wondered what 50% felt like?" Jason's eyes widened. "I'm sorry, what-" He barely dodged Chris's punch forward. Chris landed behind Jason and sped back towards him. Jason jumped into the air, firing several shockwaves towards Chris. Chris hadn't expected this. Also, the sand was slowing down his movement, whereas Jason was already used to being slower than Chris. Jason kicked Chris in the side. When Chris tried to counterpunch, Jason sidestepped it and jabbed Chris in the arm. Chris's muscles tensed up. Then Jason kicked him in the leg, causing him to fall. Chris opened his eyes and saw Jason powering up a punch with red, purple, and blue energy. He smiled. "Goodbye you piece of shit."

When Jason's punch connected, it didn't kill Chris. It didn't even knock him out. It only succeeded in giving him a broken nose. Jason looked up, annoyed. Aizawa was standing there, goggles on and scarves ready. Jason stepped over Chris and faced his former teacher. "So this was all your idea." "Hardly. I was just here to make sure that nobody got killed." Jason rolled his shoulders. "Mr. Aizawa, we don't have to do this. You can just walk away." "No can do. I'm bringing you in."

Aizawa lashed out with his scarves. Jason rolled underneath them and grabbed them. He pretended to pull backwards, which resulted in Aizawa instinctively throwing his own weight back. Aizawa landed on his ass as Jason sprinted forward with his quirk. Aizawa used erasure to stop Jason from using Inner Strength, meaning Jason tripped and rolled in the sand. He was back up on his feet after a brief moment, but so was Aizawa. The two engaged in close quarters combat. Whenever Jason would use his quirk, Aizawa would erase it. Jason smiled as the two disengaged. "It would appear I really do have an equal in combat. I was starting to think I really was the strongest in the school." Aizawa threw his scarves back around his neck. "It's all about matchups. I'm great against people who rely on their quirks. However, you spent much of your life fighting without it, meaning you aren't completely defenseless without Inner Strength." Aizawa stood up straight. "However, I'm done fighting. I want you to come back to UA. I promise we won't do anything to you." Jason put his hands in his pockets. "Yea right." "I'm serious. We just want to figure out which one of you is the clone and which one of you is real. After that, we can try to find a way you two can coexist." Jason thought for a moment. However, nobody ever figured out what he was going to say.

A purple portal opened up behind Jason. Everyone looked at it with horror. Shigaraki walked out of it, hands in his trench coat pockets. Dabi followed next, along with Mr. Compress, Toga, Twice, Spinner, Vortex, and Wake. Aizawa swore before he shouted. "Jason, get back!" Jason didn't move. He just glared at the League. Aizawa started to run forward in order to grab Jason, but then Wake blasted him back with a powerful stream of water. Chris got back up, but Dabi blasted the area. Chris had no choice but to jump backwards. Mina, who was attending to Tamaki now, covered her mouth. "...oh my god…" Chris shouted from across the flames. "Jason! What the hell is going on?!" Jason turned to him. "You made your choice. You all made your choice. I made mine." He turned to Shigaraki, still talking to Chris. "After all, the enemy of my enemy is an acquaintance, right?" Shoto, who had originally been instructed to stay back due to her being the reason Jason ran away last time, ran forward. "No!" Jason glared at her before looking back at Shigaraki. "Let's go before I change my mind and kill all of you." Shigaraki mockingly bowed, waving him towards the portal. "By all means." Jason and Shigaraki walked through the portal, closely followed by the rest of the League of Villains. As Kurogiri's portal closed, Chris fell to his knees, no longer caring about the blue flames only a few feet in front of him.

For the first time, one of their own had willingly joined the League of Villains.
