Jason quickly stood up. Endeavor groaned as he slowly got up, his flames still roaring on his face, which formed a kind of mask like when he was in his hero uniform. The two heroes quickly stood back to back as the surviving Twice clones began replicating themselves. Jason smirked. "Where the hell did you come from? I thought you were in a coma." "I was until an hour or two ago. As soon as I heard what was going on, I came on over." Endeavor looked around. "I came in through this window because I saw Twice, but I didn't know that you were the one he was beating up. How are you of all people struggling against him?" Jason sighed, still keeping his eyes on the Twice clones. "Long story short, I lost my quirk due to one of Overhaul's darts. On top of that, there's a really good chance that I'm a clone, so I would only be half as strong anyways. But now that you're here, you can fry this guy and we can go help the others." Endeavor let out a nervous chuckle. "I shouldn't even be here. I used up most of my power just flying over, so I'm nearly out of firepower." Jason laughed. "Well then, it looks like we're still screwed." The Twice clones readied themselves. Jason lowered his fighting stance, a smile on his face. "It's been an honor, Endeavor." Endeavor smiled. "The honor was mine, Endgame. Thank you for looking after my daughter."
Void and Chris clashed fists again, breaking the windows around them. Their battle had taken to the city streets. Their punches were tearing up the concrete. Void delivered a powerful punch that created a shockwave behind Chris, shattering the wall of the building behind him. Chris brought his foot up and kicked Void away. Void dug his feet in, destroying the ground to keep himself from being blown away. Chris charged forward, landing a punch that sent Void rocketing up towards the sky. Void clenched his teeth and watched Chris jump towards him. Void waited for Chris to rear his fist back again. When he did, Void stretched his foot and kicked Chris in the face. With Chris off balance, Void grabbed Chris by the throat and kicked with all of his might, causing a shockwave that sent both men straight into the Boardwalk Tower. They crashed into the top floor and rolled away from each other. Chris gasped for air, holding his throat. Void was panting as he got back up. They glared at each other. Void smiled. "You put up quite a fight. I'll make sure that everyone knows just how hard you fought at the very end." Void used every single emotion available to him to power up one final punch. The room lit up the colors of the rainbow as Void reared his arm back, preparing for a final charge. Chris glared as his green electricity sparked around him. He also reared his fist back. "One for All, 100%." They charged each other, screaming at the top of their lungs.
Shoto sprinted up the stairs. She felt like she was running out of time. She knew Chris and Void were about to kill each other. It was only a matter of time. She had to get up there and try to stop the fight.
Jason and Endeavor did their best, but there were simply too many clones. Twice was beginning to overwhelm them. One of the clones thrusted forward with his knife and managed to cut Jason's arm. The hero clenched his teeth and punched that particular clone in the face, turning him into dust. Endeavor used his flames to try and melt as many clones as he could, but he was slowly running out of flames. Then Jason saw it: one of the Twices was unmasked. Jason remembered how Twice had taken his mask off before creating the clones. Jason jumped over a clone and sprinted towards the unmasked one. Twice saw what was coming. "Stop him!" Jason fought off several who tackled him. However, just before Jason could grab him, a dozen clones dogpiled him. Twice, the original Twice, looked relieved. "...Did you really think you could get to me?" Jason smiled. "Not a chance. I just wanted you to give away your position." Twice looked confused. Then he heard the powerful words from across the room. "Prominence Burn!" Twice looked at Endeavor. The Number One hero's strongest attack melted through the Twice clones. Twice's eyes widened as the beam of fire came towards him. Jason shut his eyes as Twice was consumed by the flames and turned into nothing. The room fell silent. Then the Twice clones began to collapse. They all slowly turned into dust. Jason and Endeavor watched as the clones, now aware of what was going on, panicked as they died. Jason laid down on his back and closed his eyes.
Chris stopped mid punch. Just before he and Void could connect punches, Void tripped and fell. His legs slowly began turning to dust. Chris was horrified. Void's eyes widened. After the disintegration reached his knees, he softly spoke. "...I… I was the clone…?" Chris powered down. "...Void… I'm sorry…" Void just laid there. Then he weakly smiled up at Chris. "...no… this… this is for the best…" Chris sat on his knees next to Void as he continued. "...I became the kind of person I hated most… I turned on my friends and family…" Chris shook his head. "We should've been more understanding of the situation. We shouldn't have-" "Shut. Up." Void was still smiling. "Only in my dying moments can I see clearly. I should've listened to you all. I should've trusted you. I let my fear take hold of me, and this is where it led me." The disintegration was up to Void's waist now. "...I'm sorry, Chris… I'm sorry for… everything…" Chris wrapped his arms around Void and held him close. "...Goodbye, Jason. Thank you for being my brother." Void smiled as he used what little strength he had to return the hug. "...Thank you… for being… mine…"
Shoto ran through the destroyed doorway of the top floor, panting. She only saw Chris, on his knees with his back to her. After a quick look around, she didn't see Void anywhere. "...Impact…?" Chris slowly stood up, dust falling from his hands. He slowly turned towards Shoto, his eyes watering up. "...it's over… somewhere down below, someone managed to kill Twice, causing all of his clones to turn to dust…" Shoto looked at Chris with confusion. Then she saw the dust on the ground. "...You mean…" Chris slowly nodded. "...Void is dead…"
