The sun was starting to set over the UA campus. News vans couldn't get access to the school due to the security lockdown and police preventing civilians from entering. However, that wouldn't stop every reporter. The larger stations were already getting helicopters into the air to try and witness the action. This was the third attack on UA grounds in three years, and it was already known that All for One was present for this particular attack. Every single reporter who cared about getting a story absolutely needed to witness this battle.
Kyoko put her earphone jacks into her boots, which created a powerful burst of sound. It was enough to throw the Nomu off balance just long enough for Momo to create a sword out of her arm. After several months of training, Momo had refined the creation of her blades to resemble Damascus Swords, the sharpest swords in the world. Having also practiced using the swords just as much as she has practiced making them, Momo expertly slashed the Nomu's arm. It fell off, but the stump was already growing a new one. Momo backed away as Kyoko blasted it with more sound waves. Momo readied her sword as she stopped next to her friend. "Keep it up! We just need to hold it off until backup arrives!"
Jason rolled to the side as All for One fired another shockwave at him. He knew he couldn't go head to head with the villain. His main goal here was just to buy time, and he would do that by keeping on the move, trying to avoid everything All for One threw at him. All for One powered up a massive shockwave. "You beat me last time because of dumb luck. You waited for All Might to weaken me, then you hit me with a surprise attack." Jason dove out of the way of the shockwave, which uprooted the trees behind him, sending them flying for miles. Jason looked back at the destruction. These shockwaves were even more powerful than when he had battled All Might. He had no idea how All for One still had so much power. Jason looked back at All for One just as the villain fired the same black energy tendrils from before. Jason jumped backwards, dodging a majority of them. All for One smiled underneath his mask. While he had sent some of the tendrils downward, he knew Jason's reflexes would make him jump up. Without a quirk, he was helpless in the air. All for One made a small number of tendrils arc upwards. Jason gritted his teeth as five of the tendrils pierced through his body, coming out the other side.
"Look at you now, Endgame. So weak, and powerless to do anything to stop me." All for One retracted the tendrils, allowing Jason to fall to the ground. Jason grunted from the fall. He slowly tried to get back up, his wounds starting to soak his black costume in blood. Jason managed to get to his feet. All for One raised a hand towards him. "Do you remember what you did to me, Jason? You humiliated me in front of the pro heroes. Sure, All Might weakened me, but what villain with any kind of self respect would allow themselves to live knowing a mere college kid sent them to prison?" Jason opened his eyes as he looked up to the sky. His eyes focused, and he smiled. He looked back down at All for One. "...what's so funny?" "Yea, I remember what I did to you, you disgusting excuse of a human being. More importantly, do you remember what I told you? I told you it's not my destiny to kill you." Jason pointed up towards the sky. "It's his."
A few minutes earlier, Chris was staring outside the window. The helicopter was very loud, but his heightened senses weren't too bothered by it. All Might, on the other hand, was wearing the headphones that were normally provided for the crew and passengers. "Chris!" Chris looked over at his mentor, still easily able to hear him over the roar of the engine and the spinning of the helicopter blades. "Make sure you keep your guard up! He may be weaker than when I fought him, but he will try to talk and get under your skin! Don't let him get in your head!" Chris nodded and looked back out the window. All Might thought for a moment, then put a hand on Chris's shoulder. Chris looked back across the helicopter to look at his teacher. All Might was smiling. "I'm proud of you, kid! You've become far stronger than I ever could've hoped to become! You have proven time and time again that you have the heart of a hero! I'm proud of the hero you've become!" Chris managed a faint smile and nodded. The helicopter stopped moving forward and the pilot's voice could be heard. "We're over UA now! There's a lot of air traffic around here! Nowhere to land either! We'll have to land somewhere further away!" Chris stood up and opened the helicopter's door. The pilot turned his head to him. "What do you think you're doing?!" Chris didn't look at him. Using his heightened eye-sight, he looked down at the battlefield. He could tell that there were five different battles raging across UA. Then he saw him: All for One. He was wearing a white cape over his left shoulder, but it was still All for One. All Might glared, seemingly angry. Chris took a deep breath before stepping out of the helicopter and falling. On his way down, he imagined how this would look to the people watching the battle from home. Chris smiled, remembering that being a pro hero is about more than just beating the bad guy, but also about looking strong. Chris spun in the air a few times before landing, creating a crater behind Jason.
As the dust kicked up, Jason turned his head to Chris and smiled. All for One put his hands in his pockets. Chris slowly rose up from his superhero landing. "Alright, All for One. It's over. Your reign of terror is finally at an end…" Chris smiled as he stepped forward. "...because I am here."
Jason smiled more as he looked back at All for One. "He's mastered the heroic entrance. You're so screwed now." Chris chuckled as he stopped next to his friend, facing the villain. "Stop being a prick. You good?" Jason nodded. "He got a good hit on me, but he held back for some reason. You got this?" "I'll take care of this." "Good. I'm going to help the others. Don't make me come back and finish the job myself." With a smile, Jason turned on his heels and raised his hand up. "Tag out." Chris raised his hand and high fived Jason. Then Jason, his adrenaline blocking the immense pain he should be feeling, began running towards the forest, already able to hear the sound from the four different battles raging on.
Chris waited for Jason to be further away before speaking. "So it comes down to this: you versus me." All for One took his hands out of his pockets. "Indeed it does. I certainly hope you're ready to die today, 'Symbol of Peace'." It was said in a mocking manner, but those words still made Chris smile. He should've been nervous. He should've been terrified. However, today was the day. It was time for Chris, Impact, to finally prove himself to the world.
