One for All (Epilogue)

Chris took a nervous breath. All Might was more nervous than he was. "Are you sure about this?" Chris nodded. "Yeah. They've been through hell and back for me. They were a part of this from the very beginning. They deserve to know the truth. Besides…" Chris smiled at All Might. "...I trust them with my life." He turned to Jason. "What do you think, dude?" Jason shrugged. "It's your call, Chris. That being said…" Jason looked at All Might. "How come you told me about it? You said One for All was supposed to be a big secret, but you told me at the same time you told Chris." All Might looked down at the ground. "One for All is quite the burden to bear: the legacy of great heroes and the pressure to be as great as them if not greater. It's important to have an inner circle that Chris can share the burden with. For my master, it was Gran Torino. He also helped me, then Nezu, Recovery Girl, and Nighteye were there later on. While that's already a big circle, Chris didn't know any of them personally. It was clear that you two were close, and I assumed Chris would tell you in time anyways." Chris chuckled a little. "Yea, I definitely would've told Jason what happened." Jason nodded, satisfied with the answer.

The door opened. Shoto, Kirishima, Mina, and Momo entered the classroom. Momo smiled. "Hey guys. Oh, hello All Might." The former hero waved. "Come in. Please lock the door behind you." They were confused, but Mina did as he asked and locked the door. Shoto crossed her arms. "Is something the matter?" Kirishima also crossed his arms. "Yea, what's with the secret meeting?" Momo crossed her arms next. "You asked us to split up into groups of two and make sure we weren't seen entering the room." Mina was the last one to cross her arms. "This better be good." Jason raised an eyebrow. "Why are you all crossing your arms?" The four friends looked at each other before uncrossing their arms, except for Shoto.

Chris smiled as he stood up straight. "Alright guys, it's about time I told you the truth: the story about my quirk and where it came from." He raised his good hand towards them, green electricity sparking around him as he powered up One for All. "This is the story of a legacy of greatness and heroism: the story of One for All."
