The Intruders

The sad part was that she wouldn't be going to witness the glory and success of her story.

"Sure... sure..." Mr. Shaikh laughed and nodded his head vehemently. "Welcome to the team. Even though you are meeting me for the first and the last time, you have become a part of our studio now."

"I know, and I am really feeling glad about that," Sarah said with a faint smile on her face. "But I am giving you all the rights regarding the script of the movie. I won't interfere. I want to move on and write the next book."

"I am waiting for it then." Mr. Shaikh patted her head gently. "Don't call me uncle. I am only forty years old."

"Okay." Sarah stuck out her tongue playfully.

"Can you go home by yourself? Do you need me to send someone with you?" He asked with concern. "I know very well about your current situation. Don't do such things in the future. You are still so young and have to live a long life ahead."
