The Verdict

Rosie's mother hugged Rosie tightly while crying. "We didn't know about Shivani's real identity. Thanks to DCP Vikram Deshpande and his men who rescued us on time when her men came to kill us."

Rosie looked at her mother in shock. "What?"

Rosie's father nodded his head and folded his hand in front of Vikram to express his gratitude towards him. Vikram shook his head and signaled him to unfold his hands.

They were asked to take seats and the trial resumed.

The Magistrate looked at Prosecutor Tejpal Shastri. "Do you want to say something?"

Prosecutor Tejpal Shastri stood up from his seat and bowed his head politely before saying, "No, your honor."
