Some People Never Change

The dining hall was lifelike and bright with several portraits of ancient India's food culture hanging on the walls of the hall.

All the ladies of the house helped Sarla and Himmat to set the tables with the varieties of sumptuous dishes and desserts.

Sarah rushed inside first and sat on the second table near the wall.

Aditi saw Sarah's bulged belly under the baggy t-shirt and stopped again to take a good look at her. She stared at Sarah in suspicion as the latter sat cross-legged and pulled the table near her.

"Aditi, Ayesha, serve the dinner to children first." Leela suddenly called out for her, distracting Aditi.

Aditi nodded and went to serve meals to the children where Ayesha was already serving sweet flatbreads to them. She picked up the utensil of tangy and less spicy split chickpea curry and started to fill the small bowls on every plate.
