Chand And Sitara

Like any other day, the Kontumbian market was busy in hustle and bustle on that day too. Many men and women wearing long woolen robes with hoods were wandering in the market to buy groceries and the things of daily necessities.

The small vendors were shouting to attract the attention of the customers, especially women and children.

A man wearing a white robe and a string of white beads around his neck was roaming in the market with a bulky and furry white yak. A fine piece of thick red cloth with golden embroidery on it was draped on the yak's back.

The man was carrying a clothing bag over his shoulder and he was collecting grains or coins in that bag from every vendor.

Whenever he reached a shop, he would cry out from outside, "The goddess Yaga's beloved vehicle Yakevu is here!"
