The Press Conference

Special Forces Headquarters, Mumbai Police, Mumbai.

As soon as Vikram entered his department, he heard a familiar voice coming through the television attached to the wall. Many of his subordinates were watching a live press conference broadcast from the Capital.

Vikram halted in his track and turned on his right to look at the wall. His subordinates noticed him and instantly greeted him with a salute.

Vikram merely raised his hand in the midair in response and fixed his gaze on the face of Dr. Jivan Shrivastav who was answering the questions of the media along with the General and people from the Ministry of Defence.

"This is indeed a new variant of wild lady drug and it's an advanced one. For now, there is no cure for this extremely powerful drug but I assure you, our team will find out it very soon." Jivan said while looking at the camera. "Till then, I am requesting people to stay aware. Two days ago, three people died after consuming this drug."
