Power Up

"So Kain, what happened to your body? You were so skinny this morning... but now..."

Kain could see the lust in Sonya's eyes. She was definitely imagining the feel of his body again, but he was dressed now and they were eating dinner.

"I know you'd die for my secrets, keeping them beyond the grave, but this is one I'm gonna keep for a bit longer. Don't pout, I'll tell you eventually. Though, I'll only get stronger from this point on."

He took a bite of food, his eyes never leaving her face.

"Even your personality has changed. What happened to that cute and sweet boy I fell for? How'd you become so... God awfully sexy?"

Kain laughed lightly. He pushed his hair out of his eyes and leaned closer to her.

"You really fell for these."

Sonya stared into his soft grey eyes, falling deeper into the chasm within.

"Of course I did... but it was also your personality. You get so cute and excitable when you talk about your hobbies. You're stronger then you think too... well now you're pretty strong outright, but you know what I meant."

Kain smiled a bit more, pushing his hair back into his face.

'I know she's watched me for a long time, but this part of her is so warm and amazing. It had already been hurt and almost removed when I finally woke up to her before. All that time... she feared I'd die. She fought hard and grew so strong in True Life, that she became famous. The first Night Reaper.'

"Sonya, I have changed. I know I have. I hope you'll find a way to love this change too, but I'm not fully changed. The original parts of me that you loved, they're still here. I may have grown stronger, but I still have that excitement. I may even shy away from certain things, though it'll be rare now."

Sonya's eyes narrowed as she got closer. Her face turned crimson as she lifted her shirt up, exposing a cute pink bra.

"A-are you embarrassed?"

Kain poked her stomach softly, causing her to lurch forward.

"Why should I shy away from you?"

Sonya immediately pulled her shirt down, her mind swirling.

'Why did I do that?! He looked... did he like it?'

Sonya hid her face in her hands, peeking between her fingers.

"S-sorry... I'm definitely not in my right mind."

Kain grabbed her hand, pulling her closer to him.

"You don't need to be. I rather enjoy it when you do things like that. I am a man after all. Besides, your body is beautiful."

Sonya was now sitting in his lap, her face buried in his neck.

"You're gonna make me lose it again. It's so hard to stay under control when my mind gets fuzzy."

Kain stroked her hair, hugging her close.

"I'll take you home. We may have walked together this morning, but it feels like it's been much longer."

He could feel her nodding into his shoulder, causing him to smile as he kissed her head.

"I'll lol be busy on True Life tomorrow, so message me in game if you need me. Alright?"

Sonya tapped his nose before she got to her feet.

"Mhmm. I'll even bring you more food, if you get hungry."

"Hehe. Did I just get married?"

Kain smiled to himself as Sonya turned towards him. Her eyes turned dark as her smile grew exponentially.

"M-married to Kain... hehehe... are my dreams real? Can I really?"

She began to giggle incoherently until Kain pushed his nose against hers.

"Hey. I'm right here."

She attempted her step back, but he had better by her waist.

"I'll take you home, then you can lose yourself in your fantasies. Okay? You're mine now, so don't hold back on me."

"Mhmm..."

---

Kain had walked Sonya home, heading back to his rundown apartment now. Her father had popped his head out of the window in time to see them kiss, giving a loud whistle in congratulations. Kain made a hasty retreat, shying away and causing Sonya to become ecstatic, though she was blushing wildly.

Lost in his thoughts, Kain barely felt the Fist slam into his face. He turned towards the puncher, his eyebrows lifted slightly.

"Ay. Boy. You bring me more money?"

Kain touched his cheek, a low laughter spilling from his lips.

"Money? You're practically asking me to kill you. Do you truly wish to die so badly?"

Stepping towards his assailant, Kain smiled madly. Every step magnified the coldness in the air that surrounded them.

"Wh-what the fuck, bro? You think I'm playin? How's bout I send one of my boys to your girls pl-"

K-KRICK

"Not smart."

Kain turned away from the body he had shoved deep into the alleyway. He casually walked away, his eyes glowing with rage.
