Destiny

Ethan was confused with the melodic sound and the declaration welcoming him to his Destiny. He was sure that the waitress was this world famous seductress, but the voice trickling through the speakers sounded nothing like the woman that had just touched him, making his arm tingle for minutes. Could this place just be crawling with seductresses? What an exciting place indeed!

Zane continued to listen to the voice, but his body had calmed down. He brushed off the goosebumps and dismissed any possibility that a voice could get his body to react.

Their eyes all turned to a curtain that was slowly lifting. They were all curious to see the face and body of the woman who possessed such a beautiful voice.

Their eyes widened as they saw Destiny. She had light brown hair with curls that draped her shoulders and back. Although they were about 20 feet away from her, they could see her piercing green eyes, as if they were staring at the purest of oceans. Her luscious red lips were moving to form the words that were being heard on the speakers.

She was wearing what seemed to be a simple white dress that sat just above her knees. On one side, there was a slit that made her milky thigh visible, causing many patrons to stare with desire. As she gently moved, her white dress revealed a hint of shimmer and sheerness. Her dress was form fitting. Her dress was not revealing, but it was hard to avoid recognizing just how perfect this woman appeared. Her dress hugged her breasts, her small waist, and her curves just perfectly.

Ethan and Johnny were mesmerized, as was every person in the room. Everyone that worked there would experience the same trance-like state as soon as Destiny would appear. They couldn't understand why Destiny had this affect on them despite seeing her regularly.

Zane looked around and noticed that everyone was captivated. While he wasn't blinded by Destiny, he had to acknowledge that her presence was like no other. He was intrigued, and for the first time that night, he didn't regret coming out for Ethan's birthday.

He felt Destiny locking eyes with him. He first though she was locking eyes with him like every other woman would do, trying to draw this rich and powerful man in to them. But at that moment, he didn't sense the desire from her that he would normally feel from others. Although subtle, he thought he saw a flash of sadness in her eyes. But how could that be? This was the ultimate seductress that Ethan and Johnny were raving about just before they arrived to The Seductress. It was claimed she could have anyone or anything that she could ever want. And in that moment he thought, "maybe she is just like me, possessing everything but still feeling an emptiness."

When she finished singing, the curtains closed, and she disappeared just as quickly as she appeared before the room.

Zane was speechless.
