Twisted

Zane was temporarily satisfied, knowing that the person responsible for poisoning Sara was under Drew's control. An evil grin flashed across his face as he imagined torturing and taking the life of the person bold enough to try something so bold. He would take great pleasure at slowly ripping the nails off the man's nail beds and applying hundreds of shallow cuts through his flesh all over his body, just a few of the usual techniques that would be agonizing. By the time someone reached the surfaces gashes all over their body, they were practically begging for death. Zane was deep in these devious thoughts when he noticed Sara stirring on the hospital bed.

Sara's eyes felt very heavy, and her head felt like there were razors cutting her on the inside. Her head was throbbing, making any movement painful. She tried to open her eyes, but the dim lights in the room made her head pound even harder. Her mouth was dry, and she felt desperate for a sip of water. She tried to reach to her right, thinking she was in her room and knew the distance of her nightstand, where she always kept a full glass of water at arm's length. Not opening her eyes from the pain, her arm was stretched and searching. She couldn't feel anything and was so confused. Did She move her nightstand away from her bed? She tried to speak out, but all that she managed to say was, "waaattter," in a cracked whisper.

Zane heard her and immediately moved towards her.

"Shh, I'm here Sara," he said.

Her heart froze. She thought she recognized the voice, but she couldn't understand what he was doing in her room! "Zane?" She barely managed to ask.

"Yes Sara, it's me. Do you need some water?"

She barely managed to nod her head from the pain, still keeping her eyes closed from the discomfort the light of the room brought her.

"Zane, my head, I can't move." whispered Sara.

"Don't worry Sara, I'm here for you." He grabbed a cup of water and was about to hand it to her when he realized that she wouldn't be able to sit up to drink the water in that moment.

"Open up Sara," He said as he took a swig of water, and he leaned over and lightly pressed his lips against hers.

Sara was flustered and couldn't believe this man was so brazen and ruthless to take advantage of her in that moment. How dare he try to steal a kiss from her when she was so vulnerable! "Zane!" She hissed in protest.

As her lips opened to scold him, she felt the much needed liquid dribble in her mouth. Although she couldn't see herself, she felt her cheeks burn up. She was sure she was as bright as a strawberry in that moment, utterly embarrassed by what Zane just did, but also embarrassed that she made an assumption for the worst about Zane's intentions.

Was she supposed to thank him or slap him? On the one hand, she didn't want to thank him and make him think she was thankful for his lips against hers. On the other hand, she realized that he gave her what she desperately needed and probably in the most effective way given her condition.

She decided she wouldn't say anything about the water. "Zane, where am I?" she asked.

"Sara, you're in the hospital." Zane professed gently.

"What?! How did I get here?" Sara asked with as much energy as she could muster.

"Sara, please rest. Don't over exert yourself. I promise, once you're feeling a bit better, I'll explain everything." Zane caressed her cheek with his hand. As he noticed what he did, he quickly snapped his hand back. What was he doing? He did t know this woman, and yes, while she almost died, why in the hell was he caressing her like this. Zane was all twisted inside, terribly confused about his own impulses and reactions towards this woman.

Ethan had just gotten the disturbing news from Taylor. He made his way back inside the bedroom, scanning Jen. She was still sound asleep. He closed his bedroom door and gently sat on the edge of the bed right by Jen. A strand of her hair had fallen in her face, and he gently pushed the hair aside, tucking it behind her ear. His touch made her move around, and he could see her eyes starting to crack open.

When Jen opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Ethan sitting over her. She felt his soft touch, brushing her hair out of her face, which made her feel warm inside. Seeing and feeling Ethan in that moment caused her to smile, and she took his hand and pulled him down towards her. He didn't struggle, as he didn't want to rush the bad news on her right as she woke up. His body was now on top of hers and she pulled his neck down towards her and planted a big kiss on his mouth, deeply and passionately. Her hands started roaming down his back again, enjoying the feeling of every one etched in his chiseled and toned back. She felt his cock twitch again, and she was hungry for more as well.

Her hand started lowering towards his ass, grabbing him and pulling his pelvis towards hers. Ethan's body was desperately craving Jen, but he knew that he had to tell her.

He slowly sat up, moving away from Jen. Jen's stomach turned, feeling rejected. Did he just want her for an afternoon of fun, she thought? Was he going to trample all over her heart after they pleasured each other? Tears started to well up in her eyes as the feeling of rejection was overwhelming her. She turned her head, trying to avoid Ethan's gaze so that he wouldn't see her cry.

Ethan realized that Jen was growing emotional and grabbed her face to turn her to look at him. He saw a tear trickle down her cheek, when he gently wiped her tear away.

This confused Jen to no end. If he didn't want her, why was his body and touch telling her differently?

"Jen, I want you more than you know right now," as if reading her mind. As much as I want to selfishly take you right now, I can't. You see, I know how you worry about Sara, so I should start by telling you that she is perfectly fine."

Jen was lying down on the bed looking up at Ethan. As soon as she heard his words, she shot up, immediately sitting up and facing her. The tears that were falling had dried up immediately, and Ethan noticed that the look on Jen's face had immediately changed. She was no longer a vulnerable woman with uncontrolled emotions, she was now a warrior.

"What the fuck happened to my Sara?" demanded Jen.

"Jen, please calm down. Like I said, she is ok."

Jen snapped, as if she didn't just share any tender moments just a short while ago, "Ethan, you had better tell me what the fuck happened to Sara NOW!" roared Jen.

He was weighing out how best to share the news with Jen. He decided he would just tell it to her straight. "Jen, Sara was poisoned by someone posing to be the bartender. Zane rushed her to the hospital, and she is stable and fine."

Jen just stared at Ethan in disbelief. She tried to form words, but nothing came out of her mouth. A flash of anger spread across her face, and then her face distorted while tears just rolled down her face while her body convulsed.
