Mandilla and Natia had an agreement. Natia needs to return the light rod in exchange for Ignus' freedom. If she doesn't do this, she is afraid that Mandilla's actions will bring forth chaos. She is concerned with the fairy kingdom and the rest of the involved. Natia was brought back up to the land while the night bloomers yielded some vines that can lift Natia back up to the cliff safely. She traveled and made it in front of the Lightborn Palace facing the lighborn guardians. When the light born saw her they didn't exactly know what to do since she was holding the light rod in her hands. She opened her palm showing that the rod was released and ready to be free. The light borns startled. They were afraid of the terror and mess that it could cause.
"I am not here for trouble. I am here to return the Light Rod, but I need to see the King," Natia fiercely asked. The Light born quickly responded and make arrangements with the King. She was then guarded to the King to propose her request of exchange.
"What a fierce little girl. In what sort of courage brought you here?" The King asked Natia about the Light Rod. The King saw the light rod in her hands. He was convinced that she will ask for something worthwhile.
"I will return this in exchange for Ignus' life and my freedom," Natia straightforwardly said.
"Bring him here!" The King commanded the Ilektrik Light borns guards to bring Ignus in front of them for interrogation, they obeyed in a blink of an eye.
"There is no way this little girl would've escaped without your help. Did you let her escape?" The king was suspicious about the situation that which led him to think that Ignus did all of this.
"Yes," Ignus being a natural light born couldn't lie about it. He was honest with all of this. Natia looked at him in pity.
"I have made my decision. We have a deal then," The King agreed to Natia's request. She was glad that it worked. She was assisted to the chamber. The magic crystal seed has shattered into pieces before, but they have made a receptacle for the light rod to stay dormant. It was in its weak state that it cannot react totally when Natia pierced it through the receptacle which they had witnessed. The King didn't realize that there was something wrong with it.
Now, that it has been done. The chamber was closed down. Both Natia and Ignus were free as promised.
"Ignus, you are now free from your imprisonment, but you cannot correct wrongdoing by another wrong. You are disbanded from the Light Born kingdom. You've done enough," The King said.
"I apologize for my blunders. I deserve this punishment," Ignus said.
"He let me escape because he wants me to bring the sword back for the Kingdom," Natia tried to change the King's mind.
"It is not his business to intervene in this problem. A true lightborn must know,"
King Luminous' decision was final. The ilektrik borns released him. Ignus was devastated by what he heard. He fell to his knees. They've been served to move out of the palace.
"I am sorry. I didn't expect that the King would do this. How stupid of me. I understand what this means to you, Ignus. Forgive me." Natia apologized to ignus, She can see the sadness on his face.
"I will be fine. Having this light born honesty might not be of a big help most of the time, but it watered the thirst and emptiness in my lightborn soul. A piece of my heart was torn apart from me, but in exchange was a whole new life of freedom. It may take time to accept this, but I know I can go on. This is an opportunity to do the plans of my own," Ignus was hopeful
"Ignus... will be Ignus" Natia slipped her mouth. Imitating Mandilla's phrases.
"What did you say?" Ignus was kind of perplexed about her statement because only Mandilla, the most important girl to him, tells him that statement.
"Nothing, why?" Natia said and ignored his curiosity.
"I thought you said something so familiar. I might mistake you for someone I know," Ignus said.
"What is it about Ignus? Do you mind telling me? It seems like you need to tell me a story. Don't worry, I am your friend from now on."
"It's nothing. Not that important. I just remembered a precious friend of mine. We haven't seen each other in a long while,"
"Alright then... I am not the one to tell but let's just forget the past for now. We should celebrate a new life ahead of us and move on. You can tell me anytime you feel like sharing it. It is such a bore in that Kingdom anyway," Natia smiled. She avoided talking about it because it might lead her to tell him about Mandilla which she is guilty about. Ignus smiled at her with a curious smirk on his face. "Let's go,"
"Now that I am an exile, there has to be something good that I can do to gain myself back. I am now lost, but I will find. I am willing to help you on your journey, Natia. I might not be great help, but I am quite talented. "
They walked their way towards Mt. Midmoon where Ignus wanted to take visit, in the middle of the planet.
