Phoenix Rising

~10 years later.

I have spent the last ten years building the PMC i wiped out when Denver wanted me dead. it hasn't been easy pretending to be a dead guy after all.

Instead of looting the facility, I took it over and decided I would get back at Denver for trying to kill me and Lance. (Grizz) Step one was securing the facility.

Using the RFDs i managed to set up security long enough to start recruiting. After about two years all security was ran using RFDs and we managed to take over the once anarchic Seattle.

Filling the members list from recruiting the local gang bangers and war mongers I was finally at a stable staff level.

Three years later I managed to get the government to help enlist four scientist to fill my research and development center.

With that we sealed the deal and started mass producing the RFDs and placing them all over the city. Creating self deploy-able defense grids.

After finally getting established, 4 PMC organizations decided to try and take over Seattle, my turf. Thus starting the five year war.

The international media was having a field day trying to decide who was at fault, who was the good and who was the enemy.

For five long years all I did was fight, having the bloodiest war since World War III. Death became a natural thing, emotions became a rare sight, and blood was our worlds color.

Towards the end of the fifth year we got so used to fighting and killed so many people, the underworld gave me a nickname, "The Northern Reaper."

I could not believe that they gave me such a gaudy nickname but it stuck. "There is no such thing as bad publicity" was staff's favorite saying.

I could probably start and run a charity from now until I die and still only be known as the Northern Reaper.

One day when I was watching the news and laughing at how the media refused to even get close enough to ask for an interview, my assistant walked in with a puzzled expression.

"Sir there's a call for you on line one..... He said his name is Denver." she said sheepishly while slowly retreating.

'So the days finally come huh?' i couldn't help but ask myself.
