The Commanders Daughter

          "You really think we have enough man power to kill Emi when she finally realizes what she is?" Ryu questioned Erwin nodded, his gaze lifting to meet Ryu's. "That medicine we gave Emi not only awakened the demon..But it will help us control her." Erwin explained as Ryu walked over and sat down on the ripped up couch. 


       "I've read the info on Eren, Mikasa, and Armin but, there wasn't much on Emi. Care to explain why she is a key player in all of this?" Ryu asked as he sighed. Erwin walked over to the window, his gaze drifting to the skyline as I looked over at Nicolas, his eyes instantly showed fear as I looked back down at Erwin and Ryu. 


       "Well..to explain what she is.. I'll have to tell you about the Hanoikami." Erwin's voice trailed off. I tensed up as he slowly opened his mouth. "Not much about her origin is written in our textbooks. She is said to be the Goddess of Destruction." Erwin admitted as I put my hands on my temples, trying to make sense of everything. "Did you say goddess?" Ryu questioned as Erwin nodded. 


      "Back before the Titans appeared, mankind had a vast amount of different species that inhabited the planet. A cult formed of different humans who believed that they were above all else. Their main goal was to make Humanity the top race amongst any other living creature. They tried to summon the power to enhance all of the human race but instead summoned the Hanoikami by mistake. 


          She is said to take on the form of the person closest to her. She can annihilate anything she touches while in a physical body. She has immense power. But she tends to be only interested in things that excite her." Erwin's details caused images of Emi to flash in my mind. My heart raced, the news slowly sinking into my head. "And you expect us to be able to kill that? How do we even kill a Goddess?" 


       Ryu's normally tough exterior finally beginning to crack. "Don't worry. There are certain rules that the goddess has to follow in order to survive inside of Emi's body." Erwin added as Ryu stood up and walked over to him. "Erwin..how do you know all of this?" Erwin's gaze went dark as he looked down at Ryu. "My grandfather was the man who sealed the goddess inside of Emi's previous reincarnation." Erwin admitted.
