Chapter Sixty-Three: Unexpected Suprise

(Levi's POV)

I walked into the house after a long day of work, ready to relax and spend time with Emi. I heard noises coming from the kitchen as I sat my stuff down on the couch and followed the noises. I was surprised to find Emi in the kitchen cooking dinner in nothing but my white button down shirt and a thin wine colored pair of panties. Her long blonde hair was pulled up off of her neck, exposing her soft sun kissed skin. I leaned against the doorframe and smirked as I enjoyed the few moments of her dancing in the kitchen with not a care in the world. "Oh shit!" She jumped when she saw me standing in the doorway. "Levi, I didn't think you'd be home yet." She explained as she stirred the black cast iron pot. The smell of my favorite beef stew tickled my nose as I smirked. "I snuck out of work early, the thought of you home alone made me unable to focus on work." I explained as I slowly looked up and down her body. She looked at me and blushed deeply. "Can I help you?" Emi asked as she swayed her hips to the music playing in the background. I could feel myself becoming excited as I bit my lower lip and walked over to her.

"I was going to say dinner smelled good but, dessert is looking a lot better right now." I growled as I slid my hands onto her waist. She blushed deeply as I leaned down and began kissing her neck. "L-Levi..." Emi moaned breathlessly as I smirked. "Did you miss me princess?" I asked in her ear as I slid my rough hands down her begging skin and to the warmth of her sex. "Yes, I did.." She answered breathlessly as I began to trail my fingertips up and down the inside of her inner thigh. "Did you have fun with the girls today?" I asked her as I pulled my hand away, a deep sigh escaped her lips. "I did, but I was enjoying you much more." She sighed as she pushed me away softly and walked over to the oven, peeking inside to check the bread she was baking. "What got you in the mood to cook?" I asked. Emi wasn't much of a cooker, she actually normally sucked at it. She shrugged as she grabbed her glass of the counter and took a small sip. "Am I not allowed to cook for my future husband?" She asked, her attitude reminding me the annoying demon that lived inside of her body. "I never said you weren't allowed to cook darling, are you sure you're alright?" I asked her as I kept my deep black eyes locked on her.

"Levi, I said I am fine. Why are you asking so many questions?" She asked as I rolled my eyes. "Emi, why are you acting like this?" I asked her as she continued to walk back and forth from the stove to the oven. "Okay Levi, I'm ignoring you now. Go get cleaned up for dinner." She instructed. I held my hands up in defense as I turned and left the kitchen. I walked past the calendar that we had hanging on the wall and smiled when I saw our wedding date circled in red. Emi walked over to me and placed her hands on my hips. "I got everything done on my end for the wedding, did you get the menu that Hange sent your assistant?" She asked as I nodded and smiled, rubbing my hands against hers. "Yes, I did. I made a few changes and sent it back to Hange. I guess the only thing we have left to do is wait for the day to come." I spoke softly as she nodded. After a few moments she tensed up. I looked at her when I noticed that she suddenly became pale in the face.

"Emi? Baby you're not looking well." I spoke as she instantly let go of  me and ran to the bathroom at full speed. The sound of her throwing up sent me into a state of panic as I followed her into the bathroom. "Shh, baby it's okay get it all out." I whispered as I held her golden blonde hair away from her face. She took a deep breath and after a few moments she flushed the toilet. She quietly stood up, keeping her back towards me the entire time. A weird feeling began brewing in the pit of my stomach as I looked at her. "Emi? Talk to me, what is going on with you?" I asked, becoming extremely worried about her as she sighed deeply. "Levi...I looked at the calendar and just realized.....my period is two weeks late." She muttered as my eyes widened in shock.

"What do you mean your period is late?" I muttered as I ran my hands through my well kept black hair. Emi and I had never discussed the option having kids, hell we weren't even officially married yet. "What do you think I mean Levi?" She hissed as she walked past me over to the bathroom cabinet. "Emi, you seriously can't mean?" I questioned her, hoping that I was over reacting as she turned to face me. "Levi, I think I may be pregnant."
