Chapter 10

Jessica's P.O.V

You know that feeling when you receive great news and just the thought of sharing it with your friends and family. That' s how I felt, but the thing was that I had no one to share it with except Aunt Sophia and Liam and of course my brother Phillip. He was so happy when I told him the news. He had always wanted to become an uncle. He loved kids. He loved the idea of having a family but, not the idea of having his own family not speaking to each other. I hated the idea as well, but I cannot take any negative energy now. Especially from my family. I just could not. Aunt Sophia and I were on our way back home from the doctor. I was at the front scrolling through social media. I was on Jason' s page checking what he was up to in his life. Pretty dumb and sneaky of me, right?. From the looks of things, he and Sara are still together. Happily married it seemed. But who knows, pictures can tell a lot of lies. I scrolled pass his wedding pictures. They took a lot of pictures together and they went to a lot of places. " You haven' t gotten over him as yet have you?", Aunt Sophia asked smiling. I looked up at her knowing that she was speaking about Jason."I am over him", I said looking at her. She laughed. " No honey, you' re not and by the way Liam told me. I know that he is the father. ", she added. " Right", I said not believing Liam told her. " And one more thing. When are you going to reach out to your mom?. She needs to know that you're staying with me. I cannot keep this a secret forever, although she has not reached out to me since the fight. ",Aunt Sophia said.  I realized that we were home. Aunt Sophia parked the car and  turned off the engine of the car looking at me. " Jessica honey, you are going to make a great mom darling. You should just focus on the two kids that you have coming into this world. Think about the rest of your problems after. In the mean time, you eat healthy, be positive and continue attending those baby momma sessions that I schedule for you", She said. I laughed. " I hate those classes"  I said laughing."I know you do, but it's a good thing you know. And speaking about that, you have a baby shower to look forward to. There' s a lot in store for you honey. Enjoy this journey while you can. You are entering the season of motherhood", she said smiling and kissing my forehead. " Yep, motherhood?. Here I come", I said smiling and getting out of the vehicle.
