I fished out my phone as I walked away from him and positioned the phone's camera to capture Evan as well as the horizon.
"What are you doing?" I saw him frown at me through the camera.
"Capturing the sunrise," I said without looking up. I saw him raise his brows. Nibbling my lower lip, I tried to control the smile threatening to crack me up.
"If not for the sunrise," He said, "I would think that you were trying to flirt with me, Maverick."
Instead of responding, I took my time smiling. Then, I quickly replaced it with a smirk, "You have quite the imagination, Kirks."
