Chapter 9: Double Date Madness

-3rd person-

A couple of days had passed and Asahi and Noya had finally set up the details for their date, which just so happened to be today! The two were overjoyed but still nervous wrecks but that's just what makes them our lovable idiots<3

Noya was currently at his place with Suga getting ready for their double date. It was to be expected for Noya to be putting in a lot of effort since his date was actually real but Suga happened to be putting in the same effort or even more and it definitely wasn't for the fact that this was just a charade.

No to Suga this fake date was important because by the end of this date he was going to come clean and tell Daichi his feelings for him but now I'm getting ahead of myself...;)

Meanwhile, with Daichi and Asahi they were also both currently getting ready well Daichi was getting ready, ...Asahi was just panicking. Asahi was currently thinking of every possible way this date could go wrong but unless somehow the movie theatre got shut down and the restaurant they were going to happen to catch on fire there was nothing really that could mess up this date so bad that Noya and Asahi wouldn't enjoy it because in reality they didn't really need a date they were more than happy to just be with each other but they needed to go on this date not just for themselves but for their friends.

Noya and Asahi weren't blind and they were most definitely idiots but they weren't actually that stupid enough to believe that Suga and Daichi were actually dating, I mean they held hands once and freaked out! Asahi and Noya did, however, both picked up on the chemistry the two had going on and since Daichi and Suga did everything in their power and even faked a relationship to get them together they were going to return the favor.

On the outside, it may seem that Daichi was just getting ready but he was actually panicking like a mad man on the inside and it was all due to the fact he had realized that the feelings he had for Suga weren't fake they were MOST  definitely real and now he had to go on a fake date and act like he didn't have actual feelings for his so-called fake boyfriend... fun!

"I'm so glad Tanaka was available to take care of Ryu tonight it's almost too good to be true," Asahi says now turning to face Daichi and breaking him out of his trance " Oh yeah! Tanaka loves hanging out with Ryu so it should be fun for both of them!" Asahi smiles and continues to look at himself in the mirror he looked.... nice.

His hair was done in his usual man bun but the gray sweater he was wearing just so happen to compliment his hair rather nicely. Overall he wasn't gonna lie he looked pretty darn good and I bet Noya was probably going to think the same thing.

The two continued to get ready until they were interrupted by a tiny ball of cuteness " PAPAAAAAAA" Ryu squeals running through the halls. Daichi and Asahi look at each other before Daichi pushes Asahi backwards and runs " RYUUUU DAI-CHAN IS OVER HEREEEE" Daichi yells now running towards Ryu. Asahi now on the floor starts yelling " RYU DONT LISTEN TO THAT TRAITOR COME STRAIGHT TO YOUR PAPAAA!"

Asahi instantly gets up and dashes into the hallway to find Daichi moments away from picking Ryu up " Are we playing a game?" Ryu giggles now looking up at both Daichi and Asahi. Asahi and Daichi both look at each other a whisper " This is no game... this is war!" Ryu looks up at Daichi and then at Asahi before running up to his dear beloved papa.

"Papa you and Dai-chan are acting weird are you sick!" Ryu tugs on Asahi's shirt before Asahi lifts him up " I'm alright now Ryu!" He hugs Ryu tightly never breaking eye contact with Daichi and mouths " Suck it" before sticking out his tongue. Ryu completely oblivious due to the fact he's just simply happy to get a hug from his papa smiles and claps his hands " You and Shi-chan are going to have fun while I have fun with Naka-chan right?"

Before Asahi is able to answer Daichi interrupts " Yeah they'll be having fun Ryu but it's a different kind of fun if you know what I mean" Daichi smirks and raises his eyebrows at Asahi while Asahi turns 50 shades of red (reference not intended💀)

Asahi simply gasp before covering Ryu's ears and harshly whispers to Daichi " there are cHilDreN here... THINK OF THE ChiLdREn!" Dachi simply glares and says " You stole Ryu from me!" Asahi scoffs in return and says " HE'S MY KID!" Ryu removes Asahi's hands from his ears and smiles " Dai-chan don't fight with Papa and Papa don't fight with Dai-chan!"

Daichi and Asahi continue to glare at each other before sighing in defeat "All right Ryu I won't fight with your papa.....right now..." Ryu smiles and throws his hands in the air giggling " Yayy no more fightinggggg!"

Right as Asahi was about to say something he was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell and yelling being heard on the other side of the door " RYUUUU YOUR FAVORITE UNCLE IS HEREEEE!" there was a loud bonk until another voice began to yell " TANAKA WILL YOU SHUT THE HELL UP WE'RE OUTSIDE!" Asahi and Daichi looked at each other knowing full well that mama Suga was out and poor Tanaka was now his victim.

A couple of moments have passed and it's gone eerily silent that is until there's a small light knock at the door and a voice Daichi and Asahi both recognize as suga's scary mean voice says " We're here~!" Daichi and Asahi flinch and look at each other before Asahi whispers " Open the door!" Daichi looks at the door then at Asahi before harshly whispering " NUH UH?! No bueno. I'm not going anywhere near that door... did you not just hear Suga release his inner satan?"

Asahi looks at Daichi before raising an eyebrow " Well I'm not opening the door..." Daichi crosses his arms " well I'm not either." They continue to glare at each other before they hear a light giggle erupt from Asahi's arms " You two are so silly!" Ryu smiles. Asahi and Daichi both look at each other as if a light bulb has now gone off in their heads before Daichi turns to smile at Ryu " Hey Ryu, my man, my pal, my little ball of cutenesses why don't you do your papa and Dai-chan a big favor and go open the door for Suga-chan!"

Ryu smiles brightly and claps his hands " Suga-chan is here?! that means Shi-chan and Naka-chan are hereeeee" He shuffles in Asahi's arms before Asahi puts him down letting him now run to the door. Asahi turns to Daichi and raises a fist bump " Nice one" Daichi nods and fist bumps him back " I'll give ryu ice cream since he sacrificed himself" Asahi simply gives a thumbs up in return his eyes now fully focused on the opening door.

The door quickly opens with a loud yell coming from Ryu " SUGA-CHAN, NAKA-CHAN and SHI-CHAN" Suga was quickly pushed out of the way by non-other than our buddha himself " RYUUUU YOUR UNCLE IS HEREEE!" Tanaka runs towards Ryu and quickly swifts him off the ground earning fits of laughter from him. Asahi instantly finds Noya who's already looking at him they stare at each other for a moment before smiling like big idiots.

Daichi looks over at Suga while Asahi makes his way to Noya. Daichi continues to look at a grumbling Suga before smiling to himself and walking over " Hey Suga!" Suga completely caught off guard by Daichi yelps and stumbles back " o-oh hey Daichi" blush immediately fans over both Suga and Daich faces.

Daichi's steps back and takes in Suga's appearance before saying " wow... you look good...ERR not GOOD BUT GREAT! wait no umm fantastic, yeah you look fantastic!" smooth Daichi real smooth.

Suga looks at Daichi before letting out the most heavenly laugh Daichi had ever heard in his life " You're so silly Daichi" Suga says gently brushing his hair behind his ear now smiling at him.

Asahi and Noya look over at them before smiling and turning to face each other " So what's the plan?" Noya whispers now leaning in towards Asahi. Asahi turns a scarlet red before answering " Well we're going to watch a movie and eat some dinner afterward!" Noya perks up and happily exclaims " OOO WHAT MOVIE!" Asahi scratches the back of his neck before answering " I'm pretty sure it's a horror movie... Daichi picked it out"

Noya's eyes light up before he jumps up happily " I LOVE SCARY MOVIES!" Suga, on the other hand, stops in his tracks because unlike his short little energetic friend he does not like scary movies, in fact, he hates them. Noya then stops jumping and looks back at Suga " WAIT! I FORGOT SUGA DOESNT LIKE SCARY MOVIES!" Everyone turns to face Suga and he instantly feels awkward " Errr it's no big deal, really!"  Daichi stares at Suga before asking " Are you sure? We can change the movie tickets!"

Suga's cheeks turn a light shade of pink before he puts his hands up dismissively and says " I'm fine really!" Daichi stares and Suga before a small smile overtakes his face " Well if you get scared you can always cling onto me!" Suga's eyes go wide and Daichi quickly tenses, WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAY?! Daichi innerly panics.

"WOAH YOU DA MAN DAICHI, LOOK AT YOU BEING ALL MR. SMOOTH AND BRAVE!" Tanaka yells coming from out of nowhere. Asahi simply stares at the blushing mess Daichi has become before bringing a hand to up to his mouth to muffle his laughter, this however did not go unnoticed by Daichi.

"ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME ASAHI?!" Asahi covers his mouth and looks away " Me make fun of you? neverrrrr" Daichi then holds up a fist " LISTEN HERE YOU GANGSTA LOOKING JESUS!" Daichi proceeds to make his way to Asahi until Suga pulls on his arm " Daichi! Calm down!" Daichi looks down at Suga and blushes madly " I AM CALM!" Asahi and Noya look at each other and start laughing.

Ryu then suddenly yells " SHI-CHANNNN HUG MEEEEEEE" Noya looks at Ryu and smiles " OF COURSE RYUUUUUU!" Ryu starts jumping up and down and Noya swoops down and picks him up the earning fist of giggles from Ryu " PAPAAA LOOOK SHI-CHAN IS PICKING MEEEE UPPPP" Asahi flashes both Noya and Ryu a smile and says " You both are the cutest"

Noya instantly stops spinning and looks at Asahi in awe and flashes him a bright smile " It's about time you noticed Asahi!"  They two hold eye contact both smiling brightly at each other a warm pink blush appearing on both their faces. They both couldn't be anymore happier.

"RYU WHO DO YOU LOVE MORE YOUR UNCLE NAKA OR YOUR SHI-CHAN!" Tanaka screeches ruining the perfect Asanoya moment.... sighhhh... Suga simply facepalms and Daichi just chuckles awkwardly.

Ryu perks up and places a light kiss on Noya's cheek " I LOVE SHIII-CHAN BECAUSE HE'S MAKING PAPA HAPPY!!! BUT I STILL LOVE YOU TOO NAKA-CHAN!" Tanaka falls down on his knees dramatically and quietly mumbles " Top ten anime betrayals"  Asahi taken back by Ryu's comment stares at a now astonished Noya and slowly makes his way to the both of them. He stares down at Noya who's looking up at him curiously before Asahi ruffles Ryu's hair and says " That's right Ryu Shi-chan is making papa very happy.

Suga squeals in fanboy and Tanaka smirks while Daichi stares in awe " WHEN THE HELL DID YOU GET BRAVE YOU COWARD!" Suga then slaps the back of Daichi's head " DONT RUIN THE MOMENT DUMMY!" Daichi flinches and instantly nods his head " Yes sir" Tanaka then whispers in Daichi's ear " now you feel my pain bruva"

Noya closes his eyes and flashes Asahi a lopsided grin and says " I'm happy too Asahi" Ryu looks up at them and claps his hands together " NOW KISS!" Asahi and Noya nearly break their necks " WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT?!" Asahi panics while Suga, Daichi, and Tanaka laugh like mad men in the background.

Ryu tilts his head and says " Haru-chan says his parents kiss because they love each other sooo doesn't that mean Shi-chan and Papa should kiss too!"  Asahi gulps and looks at Noya his bravery that he had moments ago fading away. Luckily Noya was feeling more courageous than usual!

Noya yanks down on Asahi's shirt and places a small peck on his lips leaving Asahi flustered and Dazed. Noya simply winks at Asahi and says " Ryu's right Asahi!" Asahi simply brings his fingers to his lips and lets out a small chuckle.

"WOOOHOOO GO NOYA! THAT'S MY SON!!" Suga yells catching Asahi and Noya off guard... they had completely forgotten they weren't alone. Daichi interrupts and says " We should get going the movie is going to start soon!" Asahi and Noya look at each other before Tanaka swifts Ryu out of Noya's arms and says " It's Tanaka time lil buddy!" Ryu giggles and says " yayyyy(･ω･ )"

The four of them say their goodbyes to Ryu and Tanaka and steadily make their way to Suga's car. Daichi and Suga in Driver and Passenger seat and Noya and Asahi in the back.

The four of them were casually making conversation but something was distracting Noya and it was the fact that he really wanted to hold Asahi's hand but he just didn't know how to make the first move. Noya was currently glaring down at Asahi's hand, Asahi tried his best to dismiss it but he couldn't get over the fact how cute Noya was acting.

Asahi slowly slides his hand down in between the two of them and gently takes ahold of Noya's hand. Noya's head quickly turns to face Asahi but Asahi continues to look straight ahead continuing his conversation with the two in the front.

Noya smiles and looks away as he feels Asahi gently squeeze his hand. He can't help but feel butterflies in his stomach as he looks out the window admiring the sun which is beginning to set. Noya now deep in thought begins to think about what would happen if he had never meet Asahi. Would he still be lonely? probably. Would he ever feel this happy with somebody else? Definitely not. Noya truly believed that Asahi was for him, this gentle touch that Asahi had belonged to him and only him.

"We're here!!!" Suga smiles and turns off the car before turning around to face both Noya and Asahi. Noya now yanked out of his thoughts simply looks around at his surroundings. Everyone begins to get out of the car and sadly Noya had to let go of Asahi's hand.

"We'll get the tickets you guys get the popcorn!" Daichi says standing next to Suga. Asahi raises an eyebrow at Daichi as Daichi does his best to avoid meeting Asahi's gaze. " Well that's fine with me," Asahi says before grabbing ahold of Noya's arm and dragging him along as he makes his way to the theatre entrance, Suga and Daichi not too far behind.

The two-part ways while Suga and Daichi get the tickets and Asahi and Noya get the snacks. After the two both got what they were sent to do they make their way down to the theatre which is playing the movie they came to see.

-Skip to the movie hehehe (─‿‿─) -

The movie has started and Suga was scared shitless. I mean WHO THE HELL WATCHES THE CONJURING AS A FIRST DATE?! Suga looks over at Noya and Asahi and is pleased to see that Noya is leaning against Asahi's shoulder as they hold hands. Suga discreetly looks up at Daichi and sees the concentrated look on his face as he watches the movie. Suga lets out a quiet giggle and smiles, he's just so cute! Suga thinks to himself before looking back at the screen.

The minute Suga looks away Daichi casually looks at Suga... CMON DAICHI! YOU CAN DO THIS! Daichi yells in his head. Daichi gently stretches his arm over Suga's chair, Suga not really noticing continues to look at the movie. It isn't until something pops up and jump scares everyone till Suga notices how close Daichi had gotten. Suga startled by the jump scare tilts his head and closes his eyes. At that moment he feels something hard, warm, and beating? next to his head.

Suga opens his eyes and looks up at Daichi who's already looking at him " Oh! I'm so sorry!" Suga silently whispers and pulls back from Daichi's warmth. Daichi simply shakes his head and smiles " Your scared aren't you?" Suga sheepishly nods his head and Daichi wraps an arm around Suga's shoulder " It's okay! I promise to protect you!" Suga looks up at Daichi once more and is meet with the most adorable lopsided grin he had ever seen. Suga's face goes beet red before he simply nods his head.

Asahi and Noya who have seen the whole thing both look at each other and flash each other smiles. Asahi holds eye contact with Noya before placing a light his on his forehead. Noya quickly becomes flustered but doesn't make any movements to pull away. Noya squeezes Asahi's hand gently and then proceeds to place his head on Asahi's shoulders trying his best to keep his heart from jumping out of his chest.

Both Asahi and Noya as well as Daichi and Suga were both happily contempt with just holding their significant other close to even pay attention to the rest of the movie.

The movie finished in a blink of an eye and the four already made their exit out of the theatre. Asahi was carrying Noya on his back while Noya was laughing joyously and Daichi and Suga were walking next to each other casually making sure to brush up against the other.

"Asahi you're so lucky to be this tall!" Noya exclaims before hugging Asahi's head tightly. Asahi simply smiles " It's not all great you know!" Noya bonks Asahi on the top of the head gently and says " I'm 5'2 YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN!" Asahi grows flustered and says " I'm not complaining please don't bonk me noya!!!" Noya continues to bonk Asahi until they reach the restaurant that was located near the theatre.

Asahi bends down and gently releases Noya, making sure he doesn't lose his balance in the process. Asahi takes Noya's hand immediately and smiles at him while they enter the restaurant. Daichi and Suga look at each other and smile " I guess we had nothing to worry about they seem to be getting along just fine!" Suga says in between smiles.  Daichi looks over at Suga and notices a hair sticking up and before he thinks it through clearly he brings his hand and brushes Suga's hair behind his ear earning a delightful hum from suga.

Daichi instantly stops and Suga's eyes go wide, they look at each other slowly before panicking "OH ERR IM GONNA GO INSIDE NOW!" Suga says frantically not even giving Daichi time to answer. Daichi looks over at Asahi and Noya who are eyeing him through the window, Asahi simply holds up a thumbs up and mouths " You got this!" Noya hugs Asahi's side and also mouths " I believe in you!" Daichi smiles and clenches his fist.

I can do this, I will do this.
