Chapter 14: The storm.

- 3rd person -

Noya, Asahi, and Daichi were all standing at the entrance of the apartment. Asahi was currently bending down drape his arm over Noya's shoulder. Asahi was currently trying to find the best and easiest way to get Noya to the apartment safely. Noya on the other hand wasn't thinking straight in the slightest.

He just felt cold.

Daichi opened the door to the apartment to the apartment and held it open for Asahi as he helped Noya enter. " PAPAAAA, SHI-CHAN, DAI-CHAN!" Ryu exclaimed whilst running into the living room eager to greet everyone. His facial expression quickly changed when he spotted Noya who was completely soaked.

" WHAT HAPPENED TO SHI-CHAN?!" Ryu worriedly exclaimed as he ran towards both Noya and Asahi. Asahi steadily made his way to the coach and gently sat Noya down. Daichi quickly stepped in between Ryu and Noya before he could get too close and hastily picked him up. " Shi-chan fell in the rain but he's okay! Papa's just gonna help warm him up okay!"

Before Ryu could protest, Daichi quickly exited the living room leaving Noya and Asahi to themselves. " Noya? Hello! Earth to Noya!" Asahi says snapping his finger in front of Noya's face quickly snapping Noya out of the daze he'd been in. Noya looks up at Asahi who is kneeling before him and looking at him with concern filled eyes.

" Are you okay?" Asahi asked raising his hand to gently brush against Noya's cheek. Noya turned his head instantly to avoid contact.  Asahi stared down at Noya in shock and then back at his hand. " Noya.... are you okay? Hey! Talk to me what's wrong?!" Asahi asked worriedly.

Noya looked down at Asahi and quietly mumbled " Ah! I'm okay! I'm just et dizzy...." Noya then shuffled in his seat.  Asahi continued to stare at Noya his eyes never leaving Noya's face.  Noya looked down and shifted nervously in his seat.

That's when Suga came into the mix.

" NOYA?! OMGSH! YOU'RE SOAKED?!" Noya's head snapped in the direction of Suga's voice as Suga ran towards Noya and Asahi. " WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" Suga exclaimed.

Noya looked down at his jeans and twiddles with his thumbs awkwardly " I wasn't paying attention and I fell..." Suga instantly took notice of Noya's dejected expression and quickly turned to eye Asahi suspiciously.

Sita was about to speak once more until Noya interrupted " Err since we've established that I'm okay... I'm gonna... take a shower now.." Before anybody could speak again he quickly got up and exited the living room.

The two tailed him with their eyes and once he was out of sight Suga smacked Asahi's arm. " What the hell did you do?!" Suga whispered angrily. Asahi flinched and rubbed his arm where Suga smacked it and says" ow! and I didn't do anything to him! He's been acting weird since we left my job!"

Suga then glares at Asahi and says " Oh you did something, I don't know what it is and maybe you don't know what it is.... BUT YOU DEFINITELY DID SOMETHING!"

Asahi's flinches and looks up at Suga " do you really think I did something?!" Suga sighs and shakes his head " Something had to happen he was fine before he left!"  The two continue to bicker until somebody coughs.

The two turned to look in the direction where the cough came from to spot Daichi. " So you seriously don't know why Noya is acting like this?" Daichi asked in a stern tone. Asahi looked at both Daichi and Suga before shaking his head " I seriously don't know!"

Daichi sighed and rubbed his temples " Asahi, You're a good guy... a Sweet guy! So you don't always notice things that per say other people find super obvious" Asahi thinks for a moment and shakes his head " Where are you going with this Daichi?"

Daichi leans against the door frame and continues " Today, Noya came to bring an umbrella for us.

In. The. Rain. He waited for you patiently and when he finally got to see you..... a lady was clinging to your arm AND then you wrapped your scarf around her"

Asahi shakes his head in disbelief " It was raining she didn't have a coat! Why in the world would that upset Noya?!" Suga then sighs and says " Ohhhh I get it now" Asahi looks in between the two and crosses his arms " WELL I DONT!"

Suga claps his hands and then continues " Asahi darling.... How would you feel if you saw a guy clinging to Noya and the guy who was clinging to him seemed interested in him?" Asahi looks down at the ground and rubs his neck awkwardly " Well.... I can't say I would exactly like that..."

Suga then continues " Okay now take note of what's been happening these last couple of days.... He's been having nightmares of his dad who was terrible to him... He's insecure Asahi."

Asahi wastes no time to get up and run to what is now Noya's and Asahi's bedroom. Once he leaves Suga walks up to Daichi and hugs him " This is completely unrelated to the topic.... but what was the name of the girl who was holding onto Asahi.... for educational purposes... of course!" Daichi snorts and returns Suga's hug " We'll deal with her later love"

Asahi opens the door to his room and immediately walks to his bathroom. WHAT THE HELL DO I DO KNOW?! Asahi thinks to himself as he paces in front of the door. After contemplating his whole life story he decided to enter. " Noya... I'm coming in!"

He then opens the door and peaks inside. Luckily enough for him, Noya was still showering. " Look... I know you're upset so I'm just gonna talk okay!" Asahi says as he stands outside the shower curtain.

He waits for a couple of minutes for a response but there's none so he decided to continue

" I'm so sorry Noya! I never meant to make you feel insecure... I would never intentionally hurt you! I'm so sorry for being such a slow idiot and not noticing that you were uncomfortable... You are so important to me... You and Ryu are the most important people in my life! Please tell me what I can do to make you feel better..."

Asahi waits a couple minutes for a response and finally, Noya speaks up " Scrub my back...." Asahi's eyes practically bulge out of his head " Wait what?!" Noya then pokes his head out of the shower curtain and shyly looks at Asahi " I'll forgive you..... If you scrub my back..."

Asahi's face turns red hot before he speaks " A-are y-you sure?" Noya simply nods his head his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. Asahi gulps before he begins to undress himself slowly. Noya who is now a light shade of pink retreats his head from the shower curtain and waist patiently for Asahi to enter the shower.

Asahi who is now fully aware of what's happening tries his best to slow down his racing heart. He takes a deep breath before opening the curtain and entering the shower. He slowly looks down at Noya who's looking up at him with a nervous expression. Asahi looks at Noya with his hair down before he laughs " Noya.... Did you shrink?"

Noya crosses his arms and turns red " BAKA! I didn't shrink! You grew!" He then splashed water in Asahi before turning around completely. Asahi chuckles before taking Notices of Noya's back. His eyes travel down to his waist He's so thin... Without realizing it he places his hand around Noya's waist casing Noya to gasp.

" A-asahi!" Noya stutters out while Asahi slowly drags his hands down to Noya's hips. Asahi then snaps out of his little daze and yanks his hands back " IM SO SORRY!" Asahi yells before covering his hands to hide his embarrassment.

Noya turns and looks at Asahi cowering behind his hands and chuckles. He meekly pulls Asahi's hands away from his face and steps closer to him. " You know... When I saw you with that girl today.... My heart dropped..." Noya softly says as he grabs Asahi's hand and brings it to his face.

Asahi looks down at Noya who is nuzzling against his hand and softly smiles " Why did your heart drop...?" Noya looks up at Asahi and sighs " because she was really pretty... and a girl .... while I'm just meh and a guy..." Asahi looks down at Noya who is beginning to go teary-eyed and quickly pulls him into a hug.

" You're beautiful Noya.... I don't care about your gender... I love you for you." Noya simply hugs Asahi back before mumbling into his chest " I'm sorry I was being weird..." Asahi slowly pulls away and examines Noya's face before leaning down and gently placing a light kiss on his forehead.

" I love you Asahi" Noya mumbles as he looks up at his gently giant. Asahi flashes Noya an enormous smile and says " I love you too."

The two stay in the shower whilst Asahi rubs Noya's back. Once they both exit the shower the two are happily embracing each other as they enter their bedroom.

" You know the food Suga made is probably cold by now" Noya snorts as he opens the closet to retrieve some pajamas. Asahi smiles to himself before saying " Or the three of them ate it all and there's no more" Noya then laughs and turns around to face Asahi before smiling.

They continue to get dress and once they're both done they make their way to the kitchen. They spot Ryu, Daichi, and Suga both sitting patiently at the table. " Well this is a surprise" Noya says as he examines the untouched food on the plates. Suga looks at Noya and smiles " Ryu wouldn't let us eat until you both were here"

Ryu looks at Noya and instantly hops out of his chair before running to him " Shi-chan! Do you feel better now!" Noya looks down at Ryu and quickly picks him up " I'm doing much better now Ryu!" Ryu hugs Noya's face before placing a light kiss on his cheek " Good! I don't wanna see Shi-chan sad!" ≧ω≦

Noya chuckles and turns around to face Asahi. " PAPAAAA!" Ryu squeals the moment he sees his papa. Ryu reaches out to his papa and Asahi eagerly takes him from Noya " Oh hi Ryu!" Ryu's smile is quickly replaced and he then lightly pinches Asahi's cheek " Bad papa! you made shi-chan cry!"

Asahi looks down at Ryu in disbelief while Ryu quickly placed a kiss on the cheek that he punched " I still love you papa but you have to promise not to make shi-chan cry anymore!" Asahi chuckles at Ryu who is looking at him with pure determination " Papa promises to try his best to not make shi-chan cry anymore!"

Ryu eagerly throws his hands in the air and yells " YAYYYY!" Asahi and everyone else look at each other before laughing.

The five of them continue to eat happily as they talk amongst themselves.  Hours pass and they have all migrated to the living room where Ryu is eagerly watching the little mermaid.  Everything was going great until they hear a knock at the door.

"I'll get it!" Noya says as he raises himself from Asahi's embrace and walks over to the door. He then opens it and spots the same girl from earlier today. " What?" Noya asked as he tilts his head in confusion. " What are you doing here?"  The girl asked as she looks Noya up and down. Noya takes in a deep breath and says " I live here...."

Michimiya stares at Noya and then smirks " Oh is that right?" Noya tilts his head in confusion as the girl continues " Sorry I thought Asahi lived here but I guess I was wrong!" The girl smirks as she turns around ready to leave. Cmon Noya! You can do this!

" He does live here," Noya says flatly.

The girl quickly turns back around " Wait what?! Why would he be living here with you?!" The girl asks in disbelief slightly raising her voice with every word she says. Noya takes in a deep breath and continues " He's my boyfriend"

Michimiya continues to look at Noya before doubling over laughing " I'm sorry! I just find this whole thing confusing!" She says in between laughs as she holds her stomach. Noya tilts his whole head in confusion " Why is it so confusing?"

The girl instantly stops laughing and raises an eyebrow at Noya " Because I just can't figure out why someone like Asahi would be with someone like you"

Noya freezes as the girl leans down since she's just a smidge taller than him " let me guess? He uses you for sex right! That's got to be it! Because why would a guy willingly date a guy?!"

Noya clenches his fist before mumbling " because we love each other" The girl glares down at Noya and shakes her head " yeah right. I don't know if you've heard but he had a wife so the only reasonable explanation he would date a dude is for sex!" Michimiya then continues to laugh until there's a large shadow hovering behind Noya.

" What did you just say to him?" Asahi asks sternly. Michimiya instantly stops laughing as her eye go wide " Oh uh! Hello Asahi- san!" Michimya says trying her best to act cute.

Asahi looks down at Noya who now looks sad once again. Asahi glares down at Michimiya before coldly saying " I'll ask you again. What did you say to him? Michimiya flinches as she stutters out a response " I o-only s-said the t-truth!"

Asahi continues to lock gazes with Michimiya as he slowly wraps his hand around Noya's waist " What are you doing here? and the better question what are you doing disrespecting my boyfriend in his own home?"

Michimya looks at Noya and then back up at Asahi before pulling out a folded scarf from her pocket " I just wanted to return your scarf!" Asahi then pulls Noya closer to him before asking " and the answer to my second question?"

Michimiya flinches " You aren't actually dating him right? You're just lonely since your wife died and that's why you're with him-" Asahi then cuts her off by slamming his fist against the door frame " Don't you dare talk about my wife or Noya! In fact, LEAVE!" Michimiya flinches before turning around and quickly dashing away.

She quickly comes to a stop when she realizes she's still holding the scarf. She turns back around to spot Daichi and Suga glaring at her from behind Asahi and a child?

" GO AWAY MEAN LADY! LEAVE MY SHI-CHAN AND PAPA ALONE!" Ryu screams at the girl while Noya tries his best to calm him down. " YEAH GO AWAY! BEFORE I SHOVE MY FOOT SO FAR UP YOUR ASS FOR HURTING MY BABY!!" Suga yells angrily as Daichi holds him back.

Michimiya squeals and quickly runs away leaving Ryu and Suga angrily yelling for around 30 minutes.

Once the two had finally calmed down they were sitting in the living room once again. " that crazy bitch decided to show up here AND TALK TRASH ABOUT MY BABY!" Suga holds up a fist and angrily yells. Asahi who is currently hugging Noya for dear life simply nods along.

" Papa! I never want to see that meanie again!" Ryu yells as he plops himself next to Noya and quickly climbs on top of him. Noya looks down at Ryu curiously " I've never seen you this mad before Ryu" Noya says smiling.

" Me either" Daichi and Asahi say unanimously. Ryu then crosses his arms "She's a big poopyhead for saying mean things about my shi-chan!" Suga then snorts and says " PREACH!" Asahi laughs and shakes his head before saying " you are absolutely right Ryu! BUT don't say poopyhead it's a bad word!"

Ryu snuggles on top of Noya and giggles. Noya simply looks down and stays quiet until Asahi speaks " You know none of what she said was true Noya. I'm not using you for sex or because I'm lonely! I simply love you!"

Noya stares at Asahi before breaking out into fits of laughter " I know that silly!" Noya then places a light kiss on Asahi's cheek. Ryu perks up and grabs onto Noya's shirt " I WANT A KISS TOO SHI-CHAN!"

Noya chuckles softly and then places a kiss on Ryu's cheek causing Ryu to giggle. Asahi stares down at both Noya and Ryu and smiles.

How did I get so lucky?
